Fresh caught coho salmon and beans from our garden. Been eating like a queen. Been working out almost every day this past month. Really hoping to increase the time and consistency over the next month but struggling with a head cold and due for my Kesimpta shot in a couple of days. September is a new month though!

It’s been 5 YEARS SINCE I WAS DIAGNOSED 😱
I just went in for bloodwork that I had to book because my neurologist has pretty much written me off as healthy
The lady taking my blood asked me when I was diagnosed and I thought about it and did the math and I was like wait…whoa. 5 YEARS?!
She proceeded to tell me I looked so good and so healthy - she thought I was just in the process of diagnosis. She said most people she sees after just a couple of years have noticeably declined so much, she couldn’t believe how healthy I seemed. She said just keep doing whatever you’re doing because it’s working!
Best appointment ever.
I’m so grateful. And proud of myself.

Also I did a kickass workout yesterday after a bit of a break. I am sore. It’s good though !
A week into regular workouts. A few days into food journaling. Feeling good. Feeling like I’m putting the work in to feel better!

It’s been a while.
And life feels like it’s getting shaken up again so I thought I might want to document where I’m standing now.
We got a new pup. She loves to go for runs with me. And we’ve been out running a few days a week . I’ve also been picking up the weights again slowly. Really been lacking drive the past couple of months in that realm.
Yesterday I was notified a family friend was diagnosed with MS. It was kind of a shake up of what have I been doing to manage my MS? The diet, the supplements, the exercise. And I found myself scrolling though this blog remembering where it started and how it connects to now. And I’m proud of where I’m at. And I want to do better still.
Still gluten free. Still taking the vitamins. Still trying to move and exercise regularly. I recently started tracking my intake again to see where I need to be calorie wise, not to change my eating habits. I am inspired to exercise more again to get moving. My gut is feeling 100% and my stress levels are super low. Getting lots of sleep. Really feeling good over all. Oh and still on Kesimpta.
Spring is coming and I have plans to get my nails done this Sunday. I’m trying to treat myself and go tanning and feel as glamorous as possible 🥰

Kicked ass. After two days off to rest. Slept in yesterday.
Green slime breakfast with scrambled eggs. No bananas in house so just spinach, avocado, berries and my lions mane mushroom powder with almond milk to blend. Taking chaga with vitamin c and tiger tail mushroom supplements as well.
Lunch is leftovers of home grown potatoes, moose steak and roasted Brussels sprouts. Delish 🤌
Been taking my vitamin d (4000 ui/day), my multi vitamin and a blend of magnesium, zinc and calcium at night, too. Seems to really have boosted my energy and help fight off sickness. Feeling good 👍

Feels like I’ve been trying to juggle and balance life. Time to take off a few hats and focus on just a couple of priority items.
I’ve been working some extra days. Focused on bringing home the bacon, as most are right now. Also pushing this past month to get more exercise in and take care of my body a little better. Plus Christmas is coming and sledding season. I’m in need of some reconnection spiritually and with my family. Time to realign.

Got back atter since taking a trip over the weekend. Ate a lot of delicious food and no tummy trouble so far 🤞 stayed strict with the gluten free and did a lot of walking including a solid hike in Jasper
Did a solid workout this morning. Ate a delicious salad with lettuce, peas and beans from our garden for lunch.
August 16
Another run! Another half a workout with a toddler interrupting half way through! More lions mane mushrooms. Good nights sleep. Up at 5am. Opening my horizons and focusing on abundance today ✨

August 12/13
Didn’t feel too shabby working out yesterday but definitely a struggle trying to get it all done when the toddler wakes up half way through. Made a really delicious dinner / lunch for myself.
Super motivated to get the 15lbs I’ve gained over the past year and a half off. So more workouts and less food. Tracking my intake to try and get things back to pre pregnancy. My guts like the food I’ve been eating so no extreme diet change, just monitoring my intake.
Also, I started taking lions mane mushroom supplement along with my multi vitamin and vitamin d. I’ve heard some really awesome stuff about it so hopefully see a bit of neurological gain!
August 9th
Things got a bit heated this morning 😅
My one hour workouts from 5:30am to 6:30am are the hardest push I’ve made in a while to upgrade my habits.
I’ve only been able to manage 3 days a week max.
30 minutes running and 25-30 minutes strength.
Been taking my vitamins. Had a few alcoholic beverages over the weekend but not enough for a hang over. Been 4 days since my last workout though. See if I have motivation to blast another one tomorrow to make up for it…

I negotiated Fridays off. For me to be home and relax.
I bought myself flowers. 🌺
I went out for a run bright and early. Came across a sow and cubs 🐻
I’m taking great care of myself 🥰
August 3
Not a lot of physical activity this week. Not a lot of time for it. Working lots and needing a lot of rest it seems. I’m not going to sacrifice sleep for a workout. So we’ll get back to it tomorrow hopefully 🤞
My stomach is doing a million times better. A full dose of probiotics and lots of carbohydrates seems to have resolved the issues cause by the keto.
Been feeling a lot of stress and anxiety lately. Hoping for a release from that today. We shall see.
July 31st
Got a run in and a good workout ! Took three days off. Just tired and lacking motivation. Got it all back and then some today. Excited to see this fitness grow!

So no more keto.
Destroyed my gut.
Had some rice last night and again for lunch.
Going to try to keep eating whole foods with a 50% carbs 25% fat 25% protein macro break down. Might cut dairy though.
Smashed the workout this morning and hope to have more energy to blast another one in a couple days, but I took my Kesimpta last night so we’ll be relaxing tonight and tomorrow.
