it wasn’t just vicroire who was not sure how to go about this. up until a year ago she knew life as an only child but now…  “perhaps you are right…” she said softly before smiling. it wasn’t like she hated vic, in fact when they were still just ‘cousins’ they got along great. “actually i would love that.” it wasn’t a lie, noelle was not opposed to this at all, it kind of excited her at the same time as confused her. “what did you have in mind?”

‘ well, i did not go as far with with planning because of something that my-’ siblings, she wanted to say, but she stops and corrects herself.’-dom and louis keep telling me that i need to be more considerate, whatever that means. so...if you’d want to take a walk and talk about anything, that’d be okay with me.if you’d want to get lunch, that’d also be good. whatever works- i just have around a hour left until a meeting.’

   “Okay– I’ll give you that. These outfits are pretty neat. Where did you get them from anyways?” He asked as he fixed the cuff of his sleeve. He just wasn’t used to all this. He always dressed pretty simple and to the point. Mason chuckled, “You want me to twirl for you?” He joked with a laugh. 

‘ Made them myself- I need a model here and there.’ she replied with a shrug and a smile.’  Yes, please.’ She replied seriously, motioning for him to twirl. ‘ I want to see if they look good when you turn around, of course.’

“i’m sorry,” lucy apologised half-heartedly, “i zoned out. what were you saying?” bloody hell, weasleys were undeniably dull and exhausting to spend time with. 

‘ nothing important worth repeating, i reckon- go and talk to one of your house’s perfects instead. i don’t have time to go over this with you again.’ victoire replied with a shrug and turned to look back down at her notebook.

Piper nodded her head, in the grand scheme of things she was okay. Just overly concerned about what happened and what could come. “Maybe some fresh air could be a good thing, I haven’t taken a step outside since this morning.” 

‘ come.’ victoire gestured to the other. ‘ i’ll join you, a small walk could never hurt anyone.’

Valentino had to work hard to not let any hints of amusement at her rage flicker across his face. “Weasley! Lovely to see you today,” he said smoothly, before he shook his head. “Of course not. If I did, I would’ve told McGonagall already,” he insisted. He pulled another angelic face. “I would never lie about something this serious. Certainly not to you.”

Bullshit- she thought, but never said out loud.’ Stop the act, we both know it’s never lovely to see me when it’s your shoes I am after.’ the older girl however, forced a smile towards the other as if she was giving him a friendly advice. ‘ Hmm, are you sure about that? Because your nose seems to be twitching.’

Ever since the news in the Great Hall this morning Piper had been worried sick. Not only for who was missing but for the message, even after they tried to lessen the students concern she couldn’t avoid the feeling at pit of her stomach. She had spent a majority of the day in a daze and that didn’t change when she was sitting in the library trying to get work done. Not even realizing while she was spacing out that she was looking in someones direction. “Sorry…just got distracted for a moment.” 

‘ you okay there?’ victoire asked gently as she looked down at the other and offered her a small smile as if trying to show support despite not understanding what was happening either. ‘do you need some water? maybe some fresh air?’

Ever since the announcement at breakfast, the school had felt on edge. Valentino sighed loudly from his perch at the top of the steps leading out to the courtyard, fixing a distraught expression on his face and turning to the nearest person. “It’s awful what they said at breakfast, isn’t it?” He said, pitching his voice higher to mimic anxiety about the situation. “He must be fine, right? Ezekiel, I mean.”

‘ you little -  connard.’ victoire mumbles under her breath as she walks up the stairs even faster to reach valentino, a frown as she stops right in front of him. ' are you sure there’s nothing else you know about that? your tone seems maybe a little bit too interested for someone who wants to be pleaded as innocent for this matter. you know, dear, as head girl- you should know it’s as bad as lying to a teacher if you lie to me.’

“Would you mind?” Freddie peered up at her hopefully, nodding slightly. “Please? I want her to get them even if I don’t get them to her.”

‘ No, I don’t.’ she ceased with a smile. ‘I’ll make sure she gets them and well, that she knows they’re from you with the best intentions, how does that sound?’

Dom also bit back her own laugh when she realized they both defaulted to french when caught off guard. Personally, Dom blamed their mom for it, Fleur was strict about words said around them growing up but even she resorted to a few choice phrases in french not realizing how her daughters (and son) had been picking the language up until it was too late, they all knew how to curse in french before they did in english. Dom was really the one who continued to purposely do it though, mostly because she knew it bothered Fleur. “Yeah, everything is fine.” she said brushing her sisters concern off “Just heading outside.”

Victoire, too, blamed it on their mother who always made sure to curse in French and not in English- it was rare when she would use cursewords at all, but even more rare for them to be in English which sometimes she considers it her second language despite talking it daily. ‘ Okay, if you say so.’ She knew better than to comment about it, Dom had right to her privacy. ‘ Are you going for a walk? Mind if I join you for a bit?’

Asher was sitting at one of the tables in the library trying to get through the charms essay he had put off until the last minute and to his credit he was doing a decent job of it but he wasn’t thrilled with his own decision to put it off. He had all weekend to get it done and you’d think being in his 7th year he’d have learned not to do this by now but he was a master procrastinator, it was a problem, honestly. He jumped when someone dropped their books rather loudly onto the table “Was that really necessary?” he asked in a hushed voice.

Victoire threw the other a look, but once she saw it was Asher, she gently let out a sigh and apologised under her breath. ‘ The amount of books she had in her arms was inhuman from someone as petite as her to carry, but she managed. ‘ I’ve been caring these books up and down the stairs, Peeves stole them and hid them around and I searched for them almost all day, so I apologise for being to relieve of letting them go for now until I have to put them back  in their perspective places.’

Scorpius wanted to nod but he had a feeling it would hurt, so he just followed her instructions and grabbed Victoire’s arm. “Merci,” he said, trying to smile through the pain and use one of the only French words he knew.

She can’t help but chuckle at his words and to keep him there, she talks back in french.’ Vous êtes les bienvenus. big step ahead.’ she redirects quickly and continues to help him gently. ‘ And I said you’re welcome.’

  “Yes, I know how to make the puking pastilles but there’s a reason why the shop doesn’t sell them anymore.” It was her. Roxanne was the reason but she wasn’t just about to disclose that. “Why do you need some anyways?”

‘ Roxanne, I don’t need some- I just wanted to know because there’s been some kids claiming they can do them around.’ Victoire shrugged her shoulders. ‘ And I just wanted to ask if you told someone or if it’s possible someone else knows? I don’t want this castle to be a mess.’

He was never one to focus too much on what he wore. Whatever fit and looked decent was always a go to so this surely caught him off guard,  “I don’t see what the big deal is.” Mason wasn’t expecting someone to rearrange his whole outfit especially considering the day was mostly over and done with. “Okay- okay, it’s good now. We’re good, right?”

‘ Not yet.’ the girl replied with a shake of her head and reached for the other’s collar and gently made sure to arrange it as her other hand moved to pull the jacket right to the wrist. Then, she takes a step back and admires him with a hum. ‘Come on, Mason- one day you’re going to think you were once dressed by a former designer and you’ll be happy about it. I just needed someone to try these on for me.’

“It’s fine. I shouldn’t have looked away from the pitch,” Scorpius admitted, wincing as the room started to spin. “Yes, please, Vic, that would be the best.”

If she would have been more the playful time, she would have asked him who he was looking after- but, she just wrapped a gentle arm around him and led him towards the right hallway. ‘ Unfortunately we have to go up some stairs, hold onto me, okay?’

Dominique flipped her hair over her shoulders as she walked down the corridor, it was a nice enough day out that she was willing to sit outside and do her work. These days the common room which was her usual choice was just too overcrowded and loud. Even as prefect she couldn’t get the little shits in first year to quiet down without also landing herself in trouble for cursing them. Which, she didn’t really like to do to first years anyway, she wasn’t above cursing people but she’d rather stick to witches and wizards more at her level than going around terrorizing younger kids. She wasn’t totally heartless. She hadn’t been watching where she was going when she walked straight into another girl “merde! Watch where you’re–” she cut herself off when she realized it was her sister “Oh, Vic. Sorry.” 

she was deep in her thoughts thinking about the next meeting- she never thought being a head girl would be so... time consuming. but, her father was happy- she was following on his footsteps and what not. ‘ mon dieu!’ she exclaimed in the same time the other exclaimed merde, making the older one bite the inside of her cheek not to chuckle on how both of them were still speaking in french. ‘ i’m sorry too, dom, my mind was somewhere else.’ she took a step back and looked her sister up and down to make sure she is okay. upon realizing she is, she looks up at the other. ‘ everything okay?’
