Jade’s Writing Update (Revised!)
Well been a while since I’ve done one of these! But with Stars approaching its finale I figured it’s due! Stars Shine Brighter without Sunlight There are five chapters left! They are already written and being reviewed by @twilightknight17 . So those will continue to be posted until completion. From there, there are plans to do another collab with TK, but when that goes up and starts is still up in the air. I’m sure she, like me, will want a break before diving into the next big thing. Next Month is Mer-May! So I’m going to resume/finish my two currently paused Mermaid fics: The Rock Skipper and A Fish in the Cat Café . Though posting won’t resume until like the second week of May. But I want to wrap those up and what better time to start them on their completion trek than actual Mer-May. Should finish by June in terms of posting. Detective Prince AU If you got here via A Case in Sumaru City, then know I’m already a few chapters ahead on A Journey to You. I just need to get some editing, and a beat reader. And that will resume soon! Other Projects! The Velvet Shop of Horrors isn’t dead, its progression will just be worked on in between Detective Prince and Mer-May projects. But when the mermaid stories are done it will be up in the number two spot. And currently in the wings I’m working on a Fantasy Royalty P2AU. Which I can already tell is probably going to be as long as A Case in Sumaru City. But I legit have no idea when that will actually start being posted. And on the side I’m still doing my own personal stuff. If you follow me on twitter, you know in March I took a week off of my day job to just write. I got a lot done in that time, but the plan is to keep the momentum going. Maybe weasel in another vacation soon to wrap up some of the smaller works. Yo! How’s it going! This schedule is being shifted around a bit. The last part of Stars will be going up this weekend (5/27-28) but everything else will be a bit pushed back... On account of the fact that I made it into the final round of the story pitch contest! You guys should check out SaturdayAM on twitter. Every year they hold a contest called Summer of Manga, and this year they took submissions from just writers. And your girl made it into the final round.So I will be a bit more focused on refining that story for the context than my fandom works.I hope you understand.I couldn’t have made it without all of you who read my stuff and provide feedback and that have helped me grow over the years.Thank you for reading!
