ive been working on genetic diagrams and chromosomal allele comparisons for the last two hours and the only concepts that remotely make sense are intragenomic conflict and genetic imprinting when it comes to how daemons, witches and weavers reproduce.

witch genes appear to be recessive and daemon genes appear to be dominant, but the codominance theory with weavers doesn’t work because of sophie’s existence and genetic background.
