First things first - you can find someone objectively attractive and STILL not be attracted TO THEM. They are not mutual feelings.

Just like how Gwynriels LOVE emphasising the “but” used in Azriels bonus, that same logic applies here.

Yes Lucien is attractive but…he clearly isn’t what Elain wants or needs. He isn’t her soulmate.

That part of the interview felt like Maas was calling out certain elucien stans who go, “why wouldn’t Elain want Lucien? He’s so hot!”

Like, its irrelevant. His good looks doesn’t matter if he isn’t the person that is suited for Elain.

The fact they’re celebrating that…when it isn’t even confirmation elain is attracted to him goes to show that along with terrible reading comprehension their ability to listen is also rubbish.

Elriels did not invent all the NC, Archeron, bat boys, Elain, and Azriel centric officially licensed merch. We did not write all those media articles about elain and azriel. We did not design BB's brackets. We did not make sjm put 🩷💙 and 💖🎶💖 in the announcement. We did not make sjm say "nature made a mistake" and speak of free will and true loves and bad mating bonds. We did not fabricated sjm speaking of Elain's book and making her and Azriel canon love interests. I could go on.

We did not delete from existence all the Gwyn focused media attention and institutional backing. It simply wasn't there. It still isn't there. Same for Lucien.

They're living with their eyes closed if they're pretending there hasn't been years long Elain and Elriel focus on the next book, which has only amplified the past year. We're not talking the obvious clowning here. Which we all do. And hell yes, of course we're clowning over elriel!

But we're talking the actual marketing here and the actual institutional backing of certain narratives. Where Gwyn is simply non existent. And Lucien's existence is just as an obstacle to Elain's empowerment and true love.

We aren’t designing the merch or dictating how the promotions should go, BB are doing that behind the works. However, “coincidentally” everything comes back to supporting elriel. Whether thats hinting at Elains book next, or a focus on Azriel/the NC - it all comes back to support elriel and our claims.

Antis can’t get hypocritical now and act as tho the merch and promotions mean nothing when they have been bending over backwards trying to make it work for their own ships.

Gwyn does not exist in any of the licensed merch, which lately is 100% hyper focused on three brothers three sisters. That simply would not be the case if Gwyn was the fmc of the biggest romantasy release of the past decade.

How long will gwynriels keep up this absolute delusion?

I'd seriously have an existential crisis if I'd willingly put myself into this state of cognitive rot for five years and then have to wake up from it.

Its clear Sjms priority is the archeron sisters and having their stories told first because at the end of the day, these are spinoffs from the main books meant to wrap up character arcs…from the main series that Gwyn is not apart off.

Gwyn isn’t getting a story told before Elain, Mor and Vassa. Nothing hints at her being THAT important,

It also just doesn’t make sense. By acofas, Sjm knew what to do about acotar 5 and acotar 6, she had the hindsight to include Emerie in acofas and foreshadow her as Nesta’s future friend yet didn’t bother to introduce us to Nesta’s second bestie and Azriels mate? Its flawed.

Focusing on the merch, there is no Gwyn. Why is the next fmc of acotar not anywhere to be seen? Why aren’t we given a gwyn themed bracelet or necklace? Why is there no Gwyn anywhere, its astonishing how Gwynriels refuse to admit whats blatantly obvious to everyone else.
