Evie agreed wholeheartedly. “Yes, definitely – everybody loves a burger. And there’s so much variety nowadays, like you pretty much said,” she hummed. “Okay, but if you did do a whole album based on food, you’d end up getting so much free food because brands would want to use the song to promote their products. It’d be so good.”

CULLEN LOOKED at Adeline over his salad. It had been pretty disappointing, so he’d resorted to picking at it, and selecting only the key bits that he favored to munch on. It had been a poor choice and he was almost jealous of the woman’s story. “you know, my instinct is to say no but then I remember that Kermit’s Lament: Nasty Boy has almost 10 K downloads on spotify. So, probably. If you do it right.”

aiden licked his lips a bit, he was nervous, beyond nervous, especially due to the backlash the media was sure to have for this stunt. of course, his manager already said he had a spin on it, but aiden thought even that man had a feeling that he was considering separating. gently, he pressed a small kiss to the top of her head before resting his chin on the same spot. “not really, but i’m never really that ready to preform.” he responded.

“ Have you been drinking? Because you are getting a little dramatic again!” He replied as he looked at her laughing as she shakes his head, honestly as crazy as she could be he loved her! “ Okay, then I won’t, less work for me!” He teased looking at her.  “ And  fine cheeseburgers are amazing but they aren’t that amazing!”

“ Fucking hell … “ Joseph grumbled under his breath as his thick fingers reached to pull out the thin cigarette from his lips, the cloudy grey smoke almost too opaque for his eyes to focus on yet another of the bills that had arrived at his address, this morning. “ Imagine being a bear. No bills. You can scratch your back on a tree whenever you want. Seasonal weight gain is necessary. No judgement for sleeping three months at a time. It would be great. “ he went on to anyone that would gladly listen, the half lit bud finally hitting the cold pavement before meeting with the applied pressure from his own black doc martens. “ Also - don’t mind these, I look like a fucking hipster about to ramble about his avocado toasts. I’m still getting used to them.“ the male pointed at his new vintage pair of glasses hanging low on the bridge of his nose, gaze finally meeting with his interlocutor’s.

There were very few people that she liked to hang out with that she met in the business, they all wanted something, or they were just there for the pictures and the money that came with it. Joseph though, he was different. He had his own money, and sure he was an asshole to most people, most of the time, but he was different with her, and she liked to think that she kept him on track. “What have I told you, about blowing that thing around me.” Adeline coughed, blowing the smoke away from her face. “You shouldn’t be smoking anyway, but don’t go damaging my lungs, I need those.” She huffed with a laugh before she nudged his shoulder. “The glasses are cute though, they suit you, almost make you look smart.” 

Evie nodded excitedly. “I’d buy the hell out of a song about cheese burgers, you know that,” she laughed. “You could write a whole album about cheeseburgers and I’d be your biggest fan even more than I am already. And imagine all the stuff you could do for a press tour!”

It was a small miracle she didn’t choke on her drink when the popstar addressed her. “Definitely,” she assured with a nod that might have read a bit exaggerated in its enthusiasm. While big crowds of people weren’t necessarily her thing, she enjoyed a good celebrations as much as the next person, especially if it came with live music. “I guess it’s safe to assume you were enjoying yourself up there? It certainly looked like you were having fun.” 

She gave the older woman a bright smile, she was beautiful, that was the first thing she noticed. There was something elegant and gorgeous about it. “If no one told you today, you look beautiful just so you know.” Adeline complimented before she turned her attention back to the stage. “Oh yea, there’s a whole lot of people out there I wasn’t quite expecting. I love every second of it.” 

Bentley was backstage to escape the crowd and was taking a few seconds to himself to just breathe. Not that he would ever admit it, but being in the public eye, even as an athlete, could get to him in the weirdest of ways. The amount of photos he took with fans and locals got to be a little overwhelming, so he used his charm and status to get backstage. “Me? Oh yeah, it’s pretty dope. I mean, it could use more weed but whatevs.” His shoulders shrugged as he was speaking before he crossed his arms, forgetting she was just out there because he was waiting for more alcohol. “Shit whoops. You having fun?” The only thing was he didn’t know her name since he was a little tipsy and wasn’t really paying attention like he should have been, especially while backstage. So being chill about it, he introduced himself as Bentley and awaited to learn more about the chick who seemed to be having a blast.
