What the fandom did with piett is so fun because yes, this is star wars, every character has a wookieepedia page and a detailed backstory, but the way piett was transformed into a tired middle manager who's loyal to darth vader but just a bit exasperated with him, an imperial who believes in the empire yet still has a heart, is peak fandom.
