THE HUNT FOR BEN SOLO THEORY
I know we've talked about how the World Between Worlds could be THE way to bring Ben back because it's established canon in Rebels and Ahsoka. But has anyone else considered one other canon way that was in shown in The Last Jedi? Hear me out.
Imagine Kylo Ren, stuck in Kef Bir after finally deciding to turn to the light. He could go via ship, but he needed to get to Rey fast. Also he is someone who is easily able to use Force Powers by observing (healing in TROS).
So what does he do? He does what Luke did in The Last Jedi. He force projects a version of himself to Exegol. He starts outside of the citadel, since he doesn't know exactly where Rey is. His Force projection is so powerful he manifests in physical form.
He fights like hell to get to Rey. The events of TROS take place and he ends up giving his life force to Rey, knowing he is already dying because his Force Projection is more draining than Luke's.
After one last kiss from Rey, Ben Solo "dies"...except he doesn't. He wakes up exactly where he started. In Kef Bir. Weak, but alive. Likely the Dyad powers saved him from certain death.
He ultimately decides to go into hiding. He can't face Rey or the galaxy because of what he has done. He believes Rey deserves better. But no secret remains buried forever. Soon, on the holonet, his photo appears with a bounty on his head.
Rey is in disbelief when she sees that he is alive. The Force Bond crackles to life, and they see each other again. Rey offers to clear Ben's name. Ben refuses and tells her to live her life before disappearing. Rey becomes determined to bring him back.
And so begins "The Hunt for Ben Solo". With Rey and bounty hunters across galaxies at his heels, Ben Solo must navigate through worlds, running and hiding from a sordid past and a love that continues to haunt him.
