Keep Hope Alive Part 2
Three things have happened over the past 48 hours:
Adam Driver joining the cast of the new X-Men flick as Mr. Sinister after turning down numerous Marvel roles.
Lucasfilm boss Dave Filoni making coy comments on the D23 red carpet about "The Hunt For Ben Solo."
Adam Driver allegedly seen in London meeting with Steven Soderbergh, who we all know co-wrote and was to direct "The Hunt For Ben Solo."
Here's what I think is happening. 1) Kevin Feige may have sweetened the pot by throwing in his influence to bring back Ben Solo. Feige is a huge Star Wars fan AND he wanted very badly to bring Adam to Marvel. As we all know, what Kevin wants, Kevin gets. 2) Disney under Josh D'Amaro and Dana Walden seems to be eager to please its fans on every front. 3) Driver is NOT shooting Star Wars NOW. He is in London to shoot another Marvel flick, "Secret Wars," that involves his character. 4) He may be meeting Soderbergh, provided that's true, on another project. 5) BUT I think Ben is returning, in Simon Kinberg's upcoming trilogy. Daisy is allegedly returning as Rey in these films as well. I believe it will incorporate part of Soderbergh's story and he will get a story credit. 6) This will all be announced at SWCLA next April.
