WRONG!!!

Flowery knew from the very start that his and the other flowers' time was limited—either they wither away in the Dark World, Kris closes the fountain (effectively killing the people they were, reverting them back into plants, with no way to get to or survive in Castle Town), the heroes might kill him (cough, Ralsei fucking smokes his ass, cough), or the Knight will. He was given sentience with a very strict time limit. What do you do when you have like two days to live?

Whatever you want!! I believe he wouldn't be so openly flippant about ignoring restrictions if he felt there was even a chance he'd be able to come back. So he decides to make the most of the time he has, and that doesn't leave room for following prophecies or rules; he's got people to care for and three intrepid heroes too look after, one of whom is in desperate need of some pushy guidance.

In this way it's also sorta the inverse of Flowey: Insane meta knowledge and all the time in the world turns a nice, curious kid into a monster. Whereas Flowery, with unknown amounts of meta knowledge, has basically no time at all and dedicates all of it to helping the people around him.

Sorry if this is like an ice-cold take with just a whole lotta yapping about nothing, but it's been rolling around in my head and I need it out. Honestly, I think the Plantners are such an interesting concept bc they kinda get the worst downsides of being a Lightner or Darkner and can do literally nothing about it. Doubly for Flowery because he also knows the stress-inducing prophecy that is eating Ralsei alive and is also lowkey stressing him out.
