2. sorry for the confusion! hopefully i can explain a little better. (╥﹏╥)

pink is both the deltarune ghost & mew mew figure, they are the ones together in this! unlike the flowery-flowey and flowers-human soul situation, she is not fused with her undertale counterpart. she's a special case in deltarune and she's also one here!

for simplicity, I’ll be referring to “pink” for deltarune and “maddie” for undertale mad mew mew.

when i said “dumped right next to mad mew mew”, i meant it quite literally lmao. pink gets dropped in the room where the undertale mew mew doll is located… and when maddie is first trying to fuse with it. i’d imagine she’s been trying even before Mettaton EX fight. a slightly delayed (not too long tho) arrival compared to the rest of the flowers. but, a beloved arrival nonetheless! ˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶

pink most definitely understands the struggles maddie is currently going through.

aqua will stab anything. dummies are not special.

3. flowery will be his flashy self! as best as he can, anyway. he has a lot on his plate: keeping frisk alive, dealing with flowey, reuniting with his bouquet, not telling them you died, avoiding conversation about asgore, trying to find a way back home—you know, jarona! there’s no way he’ll talk about it to the kids. flowery will leave these conversations for the adults. if he talks about it. ever. he's fine as fern.

anyway, the underground is a beautiful place. he enjoys it quite a lot and loves frisk! ( ˶ˆᗜˆ˵ )

4. oh yeah, it's really silly to think about that. flowey and flowery think they’re mocking each other with their names. i’m sure i’ll accidentally mistype/switch them in a sentence at some point lmao.

also, yes! i did change the small flower symbol on flowery's vest to a heart. it’s to match undertale’s heart motifs. (also, just ever so slightly and if you squint a little, maybe alludes to a golden heart-shaped locket. it may be flowery’s body but it’s also flowey's (asriel’s) too.)

5. toriel is the sweetest! i imagine her meeting aqua first before flowery and frisk. she tries to lead the young girl back to her home but aqua ain’t listening. she does what she wants! there’s fun to be had! ruins, ruins! what could she do? who could she play with? play with her, toriel!

it takes toriel a while to meet the others, who surprise her. not one but three humans here? (well, one true one).

she’d totally make that assumption they’re siblings. she’ll be corrected, of course. and, flowery, despite his feelings about toriel, would promise her to keep aqua and frisk safe. he’s used to taking care of people.

this au is heavily based on the parallelism between deltarune and undertale. the obvious being: flowery is the counterpart to flowey, the flowers are as to the fallen humans (souls), pink with mad mew mew. so, when they get dumped into undertale, their existence got linked to these associations. 

the human souls, within their containment, resonated with six flowers. it was strong enough that they escaped and attached themselves to them. the flowers become… vessels, of sorts. not in a kris way tho! the human souls lie dormant, having died, with minimal consciousness. in deltarune, darkness is what gifted flowers a human form. but here, it’s flipped around: the light of the soul giving them shape. its kinda like shadow puppets (light as the human soul, hand as the flower, shadow as their human appearance, darkness from the underground). the six flowers spawn at the items left behind by the fallen humans. aqua wakes up at the balcony ruins (toy knife), orange gets stuffed into the first dimensional box (tough gloves), etc. monsters think they’re human at first but soon realize they aren’t (and later not monsters either).

as for flowery and pink…

flowery and flowey share a body. right before meeting frisk (again), flowey felt something change within him. it bursted out of his stem and took on a humanoid shape—becoming flowery. it's a case of accidental parasitism that neither of them like. flowery is in control most of, if not all, the time while flowey sits on his shoulder. he has vines wrapping around his midsection and some of his left arm, leading upward to where flowey is. flowery has a similar looking soul to the other flowers: a black heart with a red glow. the red color comes from the determination that was injected into flowey (following the red soul = determination assumption). anyway, flowery accompanies frisk in their journey despite flowey’s complaints. he also has the ability to see the save points but can’t interact with them as frisk does. oh, and flowery has deep, complicated feelings about this world’s asgore…

pink, in their dark world form, is dumped right next to mad mew mew. she’s a unique case of being separated from her undertale counterpart, purely because of how her story works (pink’s darkner body). pink has a special soul unrelated to humans, being half darkner and half monster. it's reminiscent of her split soul mechanic in undertale. pink is absolutely frustrated at first, due to feeling lost, before settling down… before promptly freaking out at the underground history. the lightner pink is shocked about monsters being banished while the darkner pink realized darkners don’t exist in this world. she has so many emotions running through her head. however, pink later finds resolve and sets out her own adventure to find ory and the others! she also has a new friend accompanying her too, mad mew mew! they get along really well <3

moving on, undertale! not much to talk about tbh. frisk just completed a neutral run and, on flowey’s advice, reset back to the beginning. however, they are completely caught off guard by these new friends. neither humans or monsters but “plantners”! note: there is no player entity, the red soul belongs to frisk’s. And, chara is a ghost that follows frisk... yeah, i’m old school for that.
