Aziraphale stopped in front of the quaint little storefront, and Crowley stopped with him. Watched his eyes brighten, round face totally devoid of fear or worry or anything but joy. Exactly how it should be. “Go on, then,” Crowley grumbled, already rescheduling lunch in his head. "I know that look.” Aziraphale raised a dignified eyebrow. “I don’t have a look.” “Oh, you’ve got plenty of looks. This look says that either you go in there now, or you spend the rest of the afternoon sighing wistfully about how you wish you had.” Crowley opened the door with a minor flourish. “In you pop.” Aziraphale beamed at him with enough radiance to start a familiar feeling in his chest. The glow of success, he figured — it would rise up, fluttery and gently warming right down to his scaly toes, any time he got Aziraphale to make that face.
