My First Haul! 

 So first: here’s a funny little story about the Ardene’s bag/hangers. I was packing a store given bag full of decoy clothing items so they didn’t count my items when I went into the change room. So I concealed the items I wanted and was about to put back the decoy items left in the bag. But then I got distracted and wALKED OUT WITH THE BAG FULL OF THE DECOY ITEMS. I didn’t notice until I was a long way from the Ardenes. So now I have 4 hangers, an Ardenes bag, and duplicates of everything I lifted from Ardenes.

that might help. if you read through anti-lifting posts on reddit, lolcow etc, they seem to be pretty split on who thinks roleplayers are sincere or not. so maybe, even if you are really lifting, that would deter a few people from bothering to doxx you.

mainly, you need to wipe evidence of your identity off of your lifting blog. doxxers arent hacking tumblr to get your personal info. they are working with what you yourself put out there. the easiest way to get yourself screwed is to leave .exif data on your photos. make sure your camera app isnt linked up with location services on your phone (iphone, idk about other models), and google for sites that you can run your pics through to guarantee the data is wiped. leaving it on sends out your location and other shit to literally everyone.

next, my advice is to never link any other account with your lifting blog. its tough because everyone wants to chat somewhere other than tumblr because tumblr’s messaging system is shit for real conversations, but tumblr is the safest place for us.

beyond chatting, do NOT post here about what you are boosting or where you are boosting it. about a year ago the first real doxx of a lifter was because the girl (who was awesome) posted the same merch pics on tumblr as she did on ebay, and then the doxxer got her personal info off of her ebay account. 

then there’s the privacy 101 stuff that some people ignore, either because they dont care or dont know better: don’t put up your real name, don’t give anything more specific than your state (the most specific i’ve ever gotten with my location is “northeastern US”), don’t put up selfies, even partial selfies…
