this might just be me but im not the biggest fan of the "mechs were jons college band" headcanon mainly bc i choose to believe that in the tma universe there really just are a band if immortal space pirates roaming around. they do record albums and stuff on earth and jon is vaguely concerned that he shares a voice with one of them, but he just convinces himself its the stranger messing with him

anyway after the events of tma i think the mechs would produce a killer album about it and sing it to fans on distant alien planets
