In season 2 episode 1, Gabriel obviously shows up to the bookshop with amnesia. Aziraphale tells Crowley at the coffee shop and Crowley looks visibly stunned, confused, and jealous after hearing about the "naked man" in Azraphale's shop.

Crowley then finds out that it was actually Gabriel who was there and when he couldn't convince Aziraphale to just leave him somewhere, Crowley leaves Aziraphale to deal with it himself.

Later, he's in his Bentley and - thanks to Beelzebub - learns how serious the Gabriel situation truly is. So, Crowley - being the pining demon that he is - drives straight back to Aziraphale.

Okay. We all know this. I know, I'm getting there.

Along the way back to the shop, he has to swerve around a bus. He yells, "Get out of the way!"

Followed by a much quieter, almost petulant, "There's only room for one of us in this lane, and it's not you."

So, this little scene here always confused me. It doesn't add anything to the story or plot. Why bother to film/add lines to a scene where Crowley is just simply driving back to Aziraphale?

Then I remembered the reason as to why Crowley was speeding back to Aziraphale. Gabriel.

Remember when Crowley was clearly stunned (jealous 🙂‍↕️) at the mention of a naked man in Aziraphale's bookshop?

When he yelled at the bus - telling it to get out of his way and then saying that there is only room for him in this lane - he was actually "saying" it to Gabriel. In a way.

Like he just had to get it out of his system before he went off at Gabriel when he got back to the bookshop.

I think his jealousy reared its head when he realised that Gabriel showed up with no clothes on and stole Aziraphale's attention away from him (I know that sounds a little childish, but you know what I mean).
