Frankly Non Black trans people need to start being better allies to their Black siblings because I’ve experienced way too much racism in the trans community.

Amina is a 28 year old mother of three: Nasser (8), Bara (4) and Adam (2). She’s fundraising in hopes of saving her children from this genocide and getting the money to feed them and give them a safe future. They’ve already been displaced five times and are struggling very badly to find food and water and everything they need to survive, and even when they find it it’s extremely expensive. It’s every parents worst nightmare to see their children suffering but not have the means to give them food and get them to safety. These children deserve to live healthy and safe, not have to hear the sounds of bombs every day. Amina is not asking for much, only whatever you can give to save her children. The war has ended, but our suffering has not. Our homes are still in ruins, our jobs are gone, and our source of income has completely disappeared. Some aid arrives—just cans of beans and peas—while I stand over the rubble of my house, wondering: How will I continue to live?

People act as if the crisis is over, but in reality, our suffering grows day by day. The support that once kept us alive is fading. Were we just a “trend” that has now ended? Has our suffering lost its echo?

We are not asking for the impossible—only that our tragedy is not forgotten the moment the headlines disappear. Because we are still here, struggling to survive among the ruins, and we hope you will remain with us, as you once did.
