Drowning in the ache of almost

Delusional optimism is the only way out.

We all have one foot in a fairytale and the other in the abyss.

As June runs into Warm July, I think of little else but you.

I saw that you were answering people’s questions as to which aesthetic they are. If it’s not too much to ask, I’m really quite curious about my own.

I’m an education major, an INTP, a Slytherclaw and therefore, a bit of a nerd. I adore the night sky and rain, always rain. Music is a must, and often, I spend my time reading and learning new languages for the fun of it, only to get distracted and forget soon after. I spend far too much time (though I’d argue you can never spend too much time on the things you love) dreaming and romanticizing every little moment. I’ve memorized countless Poe poems and have found such curious fascination in philosophy. I’m a very scatter brained academic with papers and books tossed haphazardly around my room, always carrying with me two books at a time no matter the function.

A lot of people tell me I'm a bit dreamy. But i like the idea of that. Of being somewhere else.

I love coffee and warm drinks, cosy jumpers, running, autumn and winter. I love nature, reading, writing, organisation and coding, I especially love physics, astro and particle, and green engineering.

I love plaited hair and comfy yet smart clothes, eat piercings, and warm tones with some greys and blues. I have no clue what my consistent aesthetic is, it's a mess! But I enjoy textures and patterns and contrasts. Studio Ghibli movies and fantasy books and sci-fi horror stories all are a vibe and idk how that fits with itself at all! 😅
