With his many years of experience in flirtation, seduction and general licentiousness, Thancred thought he might impart some of his wisdom to the Warrior of Light by taking him to the various venues of Ul'dah, where his misspent youth had played out to the benefit of numerous ladies of the city.

Despite Humble's protestations that he wasn't ready to practice such things in public - and that he wasn't one for "lady-people" anyway - Thancred has been insistent that the principles are largely the same, regardless of gender, and that if Humble doesn't practice then he will never be able to move beyond just gazing adoringly at a certain Scion and sighing.

So far Humble has been slapped once, after messing up the delivery of a double entendre and making it a distinctly single one, and challenged to single combat twice - although at least one of those occasions had some sexual undertones, at least according to Thancred.

He has had the top of his head kissed by a squadron of drunken Brass Blades and his bottom pinched by an enebriated noblewoman (which left him so red-faced he ended up hiding in the privy for half an bell).

He has reluctantly tried out, under Thancred's watchful eye, various forms of compliment and persiflage on a range of barmaids, caravan guards, merchants and passing adventurers, with decidedly mixed results. Although he has at least made good friends with a couple of (intially baffled, but ultimately supportive) lesbian miners; and seemingly greatly impressed one Lalafell gentleman, who keeps offering to meet him round the back of the inn with a stepladder and a bottle of Lohmani Red...
