I really like that Alya didn't just let the Lie slide, and that she identified that Marinette manipulated her to get out of her questions. Marinette worded her responses to not be outright denials, but to also make it sound like they were. And when that didn't work, she changed the subject, deflecting to freaking out about the intrusion into her home a few days ago and to going through with a plan that she'd come up with a while ago, but she deemed too risky before. I dunno whether Marinette realized that she was steering away from Alya's questions with her breakdown, but that was clearly what was happening. It's been a bit since the Butterfly Holder intruded into her home, so that wasn't such an urgent matter to contend with that it couldn't have waited.

On second thought what about her using all the cutest and weirdest pet names for Mister Bug

“M’lord”

“Spiderman”

“Prince”

“Sunshine”

With Némésis and the Alyanette disagreement, the massive hate towards Alya grew so much that it has become genuinely disturbing. Apparently, Némésis was thirty minutes of Alya screaming at and mistreating Marinette. People need to understand each character in order to understand their points of view. Even though she is the protagonist, Marinette is not the only character in the show. You can agree or disagree with Alya’s position, and that’s completely fine, but if you actually took the time to understand her character, you wouldn’t believe that Marinette should take away the Miraculous that Alya worked so hard to earn.

And another key point: Just because Marinette has a disagreement with someone doesn’t automatically make the other person an asshole. I love Marinette, and this is in no way a hate page dedicated to her, but people need to understand that Marinette isn’t always the victim. Alya is also fourteen years old, and she also has been through a lot: Sentibubbler, Deflagration, Hack-San. Marinette has her reasons for hiding the truth, and those reasons help us understand her character, but whether we like it or not, every action has consequences, even when the action has the best intentions.

For Nino, the dynamic is a little different. He didn’t have a disagreement with either of the two protagonists. However, after the episode Rocketear, people started disliking his character. People make mistakes, and fictional characters can make them too. Just because a character does something wrong doesn’t mean that all of their good actions suddenly disappear. People focused so much on his mistakes and the bad things he did, even though the protagonists and fandom loved characters have made mistakes. In The Chained Titans, we get to see Nino’s vulnerable side, which helps explain his behavior and his fear that a lack of communication could ruin his close relationships (Friends or lover). That’s why, in Rocketear, when Alya starts acting strangely, he tries to find the answers himself, because Alya couldn’t give them to him.

Anyway, this is just a little observation and a request to stop the massive -and incomprehensible- hate towards DJWiFi.
