The pay gap isn't just in football. In 2015 Federer who was the highest paid male tennis player earnt $58 million, whereas Sharapova who was the highest paid woman earn the $23 million.

A lot of the women on UK sports teams have to work a second job so that they can actually survive while persuing their dream jobs. On the other hand the men doing the same job get paid millions. I'm sure it's the same in other countries.

Personally I just think the amount that we pay some sports people is ridiculous! Why can't this money be redistributed to close this huge paygap.

When talking about this with a male friend he just simply said men get paid more because more people watch mens games so sponsors get more money.

“We’ll be friends forever, won’t we, Pooh?” asked Piglet. “Even longer,” Pooh answered.

“If ever there is tomorrow when we’re not together… there is something you must always remember. You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. But the most important thing is, even if we’re apart… I’ll always be with you.” 

“Forever isn’t long at all, Christopher, as long as I’m with you.”
