It's so amazing to see how far vegeta but also Bulma have come in their relationship. The last time we saw them together, they both didn't really seem to care for each other; Bulma was much more concerned with Baby/Future Trunks and very nonchalant about Vegeta and now she cries her heart out because of his death. You know for someone like Toriyama who is not really into romance those two are so believable in overcoming their differences. Especially without giving up parts of their personality.
I think it’s amazing, too! I find their VERY unlikely relationship interesting because it’s fun thinking about all the ways they could have emotionally bonded despite very selfish and problematic areas in BOTH of their personalities.
I like that Vegeta doesn’t turn into a lovey dovey super dad/husband when he settles down. He’s still himself, maybe not the best husband/father all the time, but what can you expect? And Bulma doesn’t fawn all over Vegeta like a love-sick girl and when their relationship is on the rocks she isn’t shown to agonize over it as if the end of their love means the end of her life’s happiness. She also isn’t shown trying to desperately force him to stay with her. He can come and go as he pleases as long as she wants him there. They both stay true to themselves and though they both seem to be able to be happy being independent, they’ve chosen a life together and they’re both better and stronger for it!

maybe it started with pity…
or maybe Bulma’s mom shipped it so hard she broke the anime
but some respect started seeping in on Bulma’s side
SO SHY, VEGETA!!
AND THEN RESPECT STARTED SEEPING IN ON VEGETA’S SIDE
And he started doing whatever she said because he respects her and might like her a little???
But they go through some rough patches

it’s ok in the end
And though they go through the VEGEBUL ROLLERCOASTER during the Cell Saga, swinging back and forth between basic concern and complete disinterest
so shy Veggie so shy
But there’s still something there even if neither of them will admit it
Vegeta both liked and hated it
Until he FINALLY fully accepted them and let go of himself and his own ego enough to love his family without holding back
and is able to sacrifice his very self, that he used to cling to so desperately, all for them
And Bulma shows the most emotional reaction she’s EVER shown about Vegeta
and then…. ;v;!!
“Don’t worry, we’re cool. We’re ok!”
And even though they still occasionally fight
They still defend, support, help, and love each other
