Hawks x Reader
Summary: You're still irritated with Hawks after his first day shenanigans (read Initiation for full background). You finally have the perfect opportunity to get him back, starting a full blown prank war.
Warnings: UA college AU, none really :)

School Festival
Hawks x Reader
Summary: You and Hawks return to your Alma Mater to offer support at the UA School Festival. This year, you also bring your three year old son along for the experience.
Warnings: UA college AU (just several years down the line)
In some ways, UA had changed a lot over the years. In other ways, it was just as you had remembered it. Dozens of food trucks line the sidewalks, and groups of anxious students have already begun setting up their booths.
"Y/N!"
If the voice hadn't given it away already, the puff of green hair certainly would have. Izuku Midorya is jogging toward you, a clipboard in hand and his glasses threatening to fall off the bridge of his nose.
"I didn't realize you two were coming," he says brightly.
"It was kind of a...," you glance over to where Keigo has your son, Silas, perched on his shoulders, "...last minute decision."
Really, it was that you and Keigo hadn't been entirely confident that you would be able to wrangle a three-year-old in public. Especially a three-year-old with wings.
Izuku's expression softens.
"I can imagine you two are pretty busy these days," he laughs, "Well, I have to help my class get ready for their performance. I'll catch up with you later!"
You smile to yourself.
You can almost picture it: Izuku sketching out painstakingly detailed formations, making sure each one of his students got their moment to shine. He had probably been stressing about this for weeks. You'd have to remember to ask Ochaco about it later.
"Fried chicken!" a small voice chirps beside you, pulling you from your thoughts.
"Not yet, buddy."
Silas' little wings flutter harder and harder as Keigo desperately tries to keep hold of him. Eventually, his grip slips, and Silas happily flutters over to you, landing in your arms.
"Mama, can we get fried chicken?" he pouts.
You can't help the laugh that escapes you. From the wings to the facial expressions, he was so much like Keigo sometimes that it was almost frightening.
"Sure, baby," you brush a strand of hair out of his face, "But let's wait for your dad, okay?"
"Yay!"
Keigo finally catches up to you, and you take his hand in your own as the three of you head toward the nearest food truck. Before you reach it, you feel a tap on your shoulder.
"Siren! Hawks! What a surprise!"
You turn to find a reporter smiling brightly.
"Do you have time for a quick interview?"
You glance down at Silas, then to Keigo. Keigo just shrugs. Traitor.
"...Sure."
The reporter beams.
"It's such a wonderful surprise to see you two here today. Siren, what's it like being back at your old stomping grounds?"
"It's strange for sure," you laugh, "But in some ways, its exactly how I remember it. The students work so hard for this, so we're excited to have the chance to come back and support them!"
"I can only imagine," the reporter continues, "And Hawks--congratulations on your promotion. HPSC President. What's one piece of advice you have for any students who may be watching?"
"Always steal your intern's snacks."
You have to mask your laugh with a cough.
"...Excuse me?"
"I'm just messing with you," Keigo pats the reporter on the shoulder, immediately turning her face bright red, "Although, it happened to work out pretty well for me. Wouldn't have ended up with these two in my life if I hadn't."
He slips his arm around your shoulder, earning a collective aww from the crowd that had begun to gather. You can't believe he actually said that on live television. That being said, he was the president of the HPSC now. It wasn't like there was anyone around to reprimand him.
"I didn't realize you two were such troublemakers back in the day!"
The reporter crouches down slightly.
"And you must be Silas. You know, your wings look just like your dad's. Are you going to be a hero someday, too?"
"Fried chicken!" Silas declares into the microphone. You and Keigo both chuckle at this.
"I guess it is lunchtime," the reporter smiles, "Just one last question for you, Silas. Who's your favorite hero?"
Silas scrunches his face up, deep in contemplation. Then, without any hesitation:
"Eraserhead!"
You blink. Keigo blinks. Even the reporter is rendered speechless.
"Uh...Eraserhead? Not...your mom or dad?"
"Nope!" Silas says happily, wings fluttering again.
"Well," the reporter laughs, "I guess there you have it, folks."
The interview wraps up, and the reporter thanks you both for your time. You glance at Keigo, who is now actively pouting.
"You I could maybe understand, but Eraser?" he grumbles, "What's a guy gotta do around here?"
"Aww, c'mon grumpy," you tease, slipping your arm around his waist. Silas wriggles free from your arms and flies off ahead toward the fried chicken truck.
---LATER THAT EVENING---
The School Festival had been a blast. You had gotten to reconnect with old classmates, wander around campus, and you even had a front row seat for the Izuku's class' performance. Silas was now sleeping comfortably in your arms, soft snores escaping every few seconds.
You and Keigo were almost to the front gates when you spot him.
"Mr. Aizawa!" you call, waving to catch his attention.
He doesn't turn around immediately, instead letting out a resigned sigh before finally looking over his shoulder.
"Hello, Y/N," he greets, then his eyes shift toward Keigo, "Hawks."
Keigo hardly acknowledges him, his arms crossed tightly over his chest. Aizawa looks between the two of you.
"Why is your husband pouting," Aizawa asks flatly, causing Keigo to let out a dramatic sigh.
"Oh," you giggle, "He's just upset because Silas has decided you're his favorite hero."
Aizawa blinks.
"Me? Why."
"We were just as shocked as you were," Keigo mutters.
Aizawa's gazes drifts to the sleeping boy in your arms, and his expression softens, "He's gotten big."
"He has," you gently adjust Silas against your shoulder.
As if on cue, Silas starts to stir in your arms. One sleepy eye cracks open, and he spots Aizawa standing in front of you.
"ERASERHEAD!"

Hawks x Reader (ft. Tokoyami + Dark Shadow)
Summary: It's your first day at Hawks' agency, and you're both nervous and excited. Nothing could have prepared you for what Hawks has planned.
Warnings: UA college AU, Hawks is annoying. Honestly, reader is turning into more of an OC but I hope you enjoy nonetheless :)
Walkie Talkie
Mentor!Hawks x Reader x Tokoyami
Summary: You, Hawks, and Tokoyami are on a stake out mission, but before too long, you're bored out of your mind. You're stationed on top of three separate buildings, with only walkie talkies to communicate. So naturally, you find creative ways to pass the time.
Warnings: UA College AU, really no trigger warnings, just silliness
Word Count: 582
It had been two hours.
Two whole hours that you had been staked out on top of this building, waiting for something to happen. Not to mention that you, Hawks, and Tokoyami were all stationed on separate buildings, so you had absolutely nobody to talk to. Unless you wanted to use the crunchy, half-broken walkie talkie that you had been given.
Groaning, you slump back against the ledge. It was nearly noon, and the sun was only getting hotter overhead. What was taking so long? You supposed that villains still lived normal lives, it wasn't like they just wandered around trying to get caught. But you had expected at least something to happen by now. Especially when this mission was assigned to a hero as high profile as Hawks.
You reach your hand over the side of the building, summoning small drops of water to your fingertips.
Drip.
Drip.
Drip.
One by one they plummet to the ground, until eventually, a droplet hits an unsuspecting passerby square in the forehead.
"...Sorry," You whisper as you stifle a giggle, quickly ducking your head down. But the amusement fades quickly, replaced by boredom once again.
You pull the walkie talkie out, pressing the button.
"Pigeon daddy, do you read?" you start, mustering up the most serious tone you could manage, "I repeat, pigeon daddy, do you read? Over."
Static crackles on the other end.
Then...
"...Is that supposed to be me?" Hawks asks, the smile evident in his voice.
"Pigeon daddy, do you read? Over," you release the button once again.
"Loud and clear...Guppy," Hawks responds, "Loud and clear. Go ahead."
Oh, he was just as bored as you were.
You snicker at the nickname.
"The mission has been compromised. Currently in grave danger from dying of boredom. Over."
"That sounds critical," Hawks feigns concern, "Hang tight, we'll send backup."
"...Are you two finished?" Tokoyami interjects, the irritation brewing.
"Good to hear from you...Emo Falcon. Over," you release the button.
"...Do not call me that."
"Noted. Will continue calling you that. Over," you respond.
"It does suit you, Emo Falcon," Hawks adds.
Tokoyami exhales, "If you two are done now, the villain has exited the store."
Shoot.
You push to your feet immediately, summoning a jet of water as you launch yourself off of the building. To your right, you see Hawks shoot into the air, his wings opening behind him.
To your left, Tokoyami soars across the sky, Dark Shadow swirling behind him. Just as the three of you had planned, you block off all possible escape routes for the villain. Within minutes, he's captured.
Hawks spends a few minutes talking to the police, while you and Tokoyami wait off to the side.
"Nice work, team" Hawks grins as he approaches, pulling out his walkie talkie, "I guess these really did come in handy."
Wordlessly, Tokoyami takes both you and Hawks' walkie talkies.
"Hey--" you protest.
"They will be returned when the two of you can use them responsibly," Tokoyami says calmly.
"Come onnn, Emo Falcon. Don't be like that," Hawks slings his arm around his shoulder.
"...Remove your arm."
"It was a bit funny..." Dark Shadow whispers.
Tokoyami rolls his eyes, walking ahead. But, he's unable to hide the tug at the corner of his lips, as gone as quickly as it arose. You catch it, and so does Hawks.
"Worth it," you mouth to Hawks. And although subtle, you don't miss the slight flutter of his wings in response.
After Hours
Mentor!Hawks x Reader
Summary: Hawks interrupts your after hours training session and helps build your confidence as a hero.
Warnings: fluff
Word Count: 782
Hawks had hand-picked you to intern for his hero agency.
You knew that, yet there was still a small part of you that couldn't shake the thought that you were out of your league. After all, everyone that worked for his agency was incredible: the Quirks, the thought put into missions, hell--even the way documents were filed. It really was no surprise that he was the #2 Hero in Japan.
You had been giving it your best since you had started: showing up early, staying late, and volunteering to go on any missions he would take you along for.
You still remembered the day that work study placements had been announced. When you heard that you would be working at Hawks' agency, you thought it had been a mistake. Sure, you had applied, but so did everyone else in your class. You hadn't expected that you would actually be chosen. But after confirming with Mr. Aizawa at least three times, it finally settled in that yes, Hawks had chosen you.
Your Quirk was nothing like his. He was wings, speed, precise attacks. You were water--a slow, deliberate control. You were a Siren.
Nothing about the pairing made sense. But, Hawks had a way of making people feel special, of seeing the potential in someone before they ever saw it in themself. It seemed inevitable that you would develop a crush on him.
You wanted to be a great hero, and more than anything, you didn't want to let Hawks down.
Which is how you found yourself alone in his gym, long after the rest of the agency had gone home. Nobody to watch you, and nobody to notice if you struggled. That was how you preferred it.
You had no idea where to start. Sure, you had lifted weights before. But only during the brief conditioning in the first few weeks of orientation. After that, much of the focus had been centered around Quirk control. And brute strength certainly wasn't your strong suit.
You scan over the gym, ultimately making your way over to the Smith machine.
Surely you could squat the bar, right? Besides, it was connected to the machine. It isn't like you would drop it. And everyone needed to start somewhere.
You step up to the bar, shifting back and forth. Then, you grab the bar. It really wasn't that heavy. You were sure you looked silly, but you focused on squatting into your heels, taking a moment to pause at the bottom before lifting back up.
How many repetitions were you even supposed to do? You decided you would start with five.
After your last repetition, you gently place the bar back onto the rack. That's when you hear clapping behind you.
You nearly jump out of your skin. Whipping around, your eyes land on him.
"Not bad, chickadee," it was Hawks.
"Oh--I was just--," you stumble over your words, "I was just finishing up."
He ignores you, making his way over to the machine. Without a word, he starts adding weight to each side of the bar.
Your stomach drops.
"What are you doing?"
"Oh, this isn't for me," Hawks says lightly, "You're going to do it, chickadee."
"Me?" you blink, "What do you mean? That's way heavier than the bar--I can't lift that."
"Sure you can," he shrugs, "Besides, I'll be here the whole time. Good mentor and all that."
You stare at him for a moment, waiting for him to change his mind, to laugh it off as one of his jokes. He doesn't. Sighing, you step back underneath the bar.
You position it on your shoulders, stepping back carefully.
"Spread your feet a little wider," Hawks says, stepping behind you, "Yeah, there you go."
You freeze slightly, suddenly hyperaware of your surroundings. Of the way that his hands hover just over your hips.
"Don't worry, I'll spot you the whole time."
You feel your face heat up slightly, and you're suddenly very grateful that you weren't facing him.
You lower into the squat. The weight was definitely heavier, but not impossible.
"One more," Hawks says quietly after your fourth rep.
You push through it, legs shaking ever so slightly.
"Okay, rack it."
You set the bar down, exhaling as the weight comes off of your shoulders.
"Atta girl!" Hawks grins, "See, knew you had it in you."
"Yeah, yeah..." you say awkwardly, rolling your eyes as you catch your breath.
He laughs, reaching out a hand to ruffle your hair. Your cheeks flush immediately.
"I'm proud of you," he grins, "Next time you won't need me at all!"
And for the first time since you started, you finally feel like you can do this.

Hi friends! I am in the process of writing a Bertholdt x reader fanfiction because I feel like there are so few fics about him and I just really want to do his character justice 🥲
Updates are somewhat sporadic because I work crazy hours, but a lot of the story is written and I am just filling in the gaps. If you want to read, I have published the first 5 chapters on Wattpad 🤍
