When Harry noticed her fiddling with her bracelet, he held back a scathing remark about how he considered it to be an unnecessary shackles. He had no magic of his own, so he was not required to wear one, but he would have chewed off his own hand to prove a point if they had tried to force one on him. Which would have also likely gotten him sent back to the Isle so it was lucky that he was not one of the crew that weilded magic.

“Oh, you’re still allowed to call yourself a pirate?” Abby asked, a taunting note creeping into her voice as she took off after him, hanging just a few paces behind to see if she could make him slow for her. “I figured they’d have tried to make you all rebrand by now. Loyal sailers of the Auradon navy or whatever.”

Abby gave up her game of trying to make him slow, rushing a few paces ahead to catch up when it became apparent he wasn’t about to acquiesce to her.

Skipping class again was a bad decision, but given she was planning to fail anyway, Abigail didn’t mind. Her lecture sounded dull as dishwater and she wasn’t ready for a nap, so she found herself sitting in a bar near campus (though it was much too early in the day for it) looking for trouble.

Being surrounded by goodie-goodie Auradon types 24/7 had her bored out of her mind.

She desperately missed trouble.

Catching the eye of the blonde witch wasn't typical for Jessie either, but she could always tell when someone was staring. Call it a pirate's intuition.

Abigail had no good reason to be hanging out near the docks. She had a mountain of untouched course work and class in the morning— every sensible instinct she had was telling her to go home, and yet the louder bit of her that had been home sick for weeks told her to stay, and ogle the sailors a while longer, and pretend she was back at the filthy isle docks looking for fun.

Even sailors were boring in Auradon, but she could at least see a few familiar faces amongst the crowd, and eventually she broke down and wandered over to one, mischief sparkling in her eyes.

Harry was whistling as he stepped off the Lost Revenge and onto the docks. The song of the ocean and the noise of the dock workers clashing together was music to his ears. The endless noise lifted his spirits and almost reminded him of home. As dreary as the Isle was and is, it was still full of excitement, unlike boreadon.
