The most idiotic thing about the genocide is the idea that once Hamas is gone there won't be anymore resistance attacks against the settler state. You've murdered 25000+ innocent Palestinians and left thousands of children as orphans. Do you think the Palestinians will move on after all of this, knowing that you've traumatized them far beyond human comprehension?
Of course not, and any new resistance will be used as justification for further genocide. It's the same game America has been playing in the middle east for decades too.
The pathetic people on here still wanting to pretend this is a genocide are crazy.
Let's put this into perspective, shall we?
A country invades another country that is not in a war with them, a ceasefire if you will. This resulted in over a thousand deaths. They kill not only military, but also civilians, women and children included.
After this invasion, the attacked country declares war on the attacker, professing their right to defend themselves.
The attacking country does not have as many resources as the one battling them off. They are in much shorter supply, especially considering the nuclear weapons the attacked country has. Still, instead of giving in, knowing they were in the wrong, they keep fighting, keep attacking.
This in turn will result in the attacking country losing 875 times the casualties that were originally given in the first attack that they issued.
Now, after this happens, there are no protests against said country. There are no delegitamizing comments about how this country should not exist anymore. There are no comments thrown around about how 'this is indigenous soil, so the people living here are colonizers.'
Yeah, that’s right, none of that happens, because I wasn't talking about Israel/Palestine. I was talking about pearl harbor.
People celebrated when the Japanese military was defeated.
Now, you'll probably tell me, the situations are not the same. America is a legitimate country.
America is most definitely a colonial country. It most definitely has settlers. Infact, those very immigrants that most of you are advocating for, are settlers. That's how it works. They weren't born here, they don't have any family or relative cause to be here except for they want a better life.
Kinda how jews immigrated back to Israel (landback) to avoid persecution from the rapidly forming judgemental culture here in America, Europe, and basically all over the world.
The double standard with Israel is getting so old. Especially when Israel goes out of it's way to try and protect innocent civilians, knowing the heinous things that the world says about them if they don't. They have issued millions of calls, texts, leaflets, and more. They are trying so hard to avoid civilians. There have been more than forty canceled airstrikes due to the fact that pilots could see children on the ground beneath them.
A genocide is built on intent, which is what hamas had. Your argument holds no water when hamas raided Israel on the expectation of ACTUAL genocide. It holds no water when for the longest time, Hamas and Palestine have been the ones to refuse peace offers from Israel. It holds no water when the arrogance and selfishness of those feeling entitled to a piece of land believe that they can kill people in an uprising to try and gain it. Don't bring up the Nabka, don't bring up the seven day war. They started by Arab forces. Most alliances of which were at the time, terrorists.
Terrorism is not resistance, and you all need to stop pretending it is.
Any American justifying October 7th with cause of 'colonization' deserves to have a native presence manifest in their home with an ax for some 'decolonization.'
(Btw the actual number of deaths of pearl harbor was 2400, the resulting Japanese deaths were 2,100,000.)
OK, genocide supporter
