I write with them a lot so expect a bit of pieces missing because I'll probably make a mega post just about the two of them because I can and I said so. HI Floofi, pspspspspspspspspspsps c'mere bestie, *readies the nunq trap*

Mush these two together and you get dysfunctional siblings.

No, I mean it, that's their dynamic, basically. Lakan's also an Amaruq figure in her life, if Amaruq was Asian, unhinged, bloodthirsty and a "bit of a" manwhore.

Oh yeah, Nuniq took a while to get adjusted with the fact that Lakan acts like they're dating half the team when they are in fact, not.

Lakan was put into Valorant's "welcoming team" (Viper pretends it doesn't exist) after Nuniq, they made her change her mind in under ten minutes and had her pack her bags and join the team.

They gossiped on the way back to base. And yes, they gossip a lot, and Lakan absolutely would paint her nails while they do. But they're usually painted already, Astra's responsible for th-

Something about being a genuine and kind person changes their perception on someone easily, and they really love how she's a strong-willed youth. Makes them feel comfortable around her.

Yes, they treat her the same way they treated their younger cousins, they'd go to her room at random hours of the day just to go,

"Do you want merienda? I made kwek kwek and cheese sticks..."

They also steal her dog a lot. Like, not even borrow it, they WILL go to her room and they WILL go "Aputi! Aputi, baby, come here!" and Aput will follow, leaving Nuniq glaring while they close the door and leaving with Aput.

...They call her Niq/Niq-Niq but bet she'd think it's a little stupid. You know when your siblings/family members call you something stupid in front of others? Yeah.

Lakan doesn't like telling Nuniq about their struggles, but they do notice hers. They will always, always listen if ever she wants to talk because they know that to anyone with a life in the protocol has lost a lot to be there.

On a lighter note, they wingman for her. She's a dysfunctional mess around Astra or any pretty woman (they sometimes have her watch over the Tres Marias while they're busy and come back to her being cradled by pretty ghost women) and they know it so they want to help her.

Uh, she doesn't trust Chamber, and meanwhile, Lakan is obviously close to him. Even starts dating him, and she doesn't say much but she hopes that he gets kicked in the balls. How can a corporate fuckwad even be with a genuine guy like them?

Oh bestie, wait until they find out about how it was Chamber who destroyed the LRC. Big problems.

Lakan's Dialogues for her

"I saw your mail, Nuniq! No, I'm not giving Aput back, he loves it in my room. May binili pa kong bagong tulugan niya, so I'm kindly telling you to fuck off." (I even bought him a new sleeping bag.)

"Nuniq, you don't have to be everyone's savior, alright? Be careful first. Please."

"You, Niq-niq, yeah, if you find any of my sigbins playing with Aput, try not to kick their face in or scream."

"Ay, did Astra kiss you? Not yet? Damn, you suck at this, a'ight-"

(Nuniq, sitting down and holding Aput and Astra) "Damn, it's really quiet today."

(Loud, wooden footsteps of Lakan's bakya while Nuniq prepares for today's subjection of torture) "I spoke too soon."

(Lakan literally punching her door open, rabid as ever) "NUNIQ- Oh hi Astra, hi Aput! YOU WILL NOT BELIEVE WHAT I SAW EARLIER IN THE PANTRY."

Maligno's relationship with Lakan (@saltedcandy's / fellowfilipinowithcomplicatedlovehaterelationshiponafrenchman's OC) We get brain rots often too, these two are fruity as hell.

Where can we begin with this?

They're very fruity, you see. Though their backstories would conflict a bit if we squish them together, we can work a way around it.

They have interesting interactions with each other, as Lakan can control the supernatural, while Maligno is a part of the supernatural. How fun!

Both are Filipinos, would usually talk in their native tongue and are very casual as long as neither are scheming or being serious.

Maligno and Lakan are aggressive when playing together. A little rough housing and you'd see Maligno with his claws out while Lakan's choking the shit out of him and they'd just go, "Oh we're playing."

Brimstone has to have at least someone make sure neither of them get too carried away. These two agents are powerful with their bloodlust and that's what makes them terrifying, and especially when they're with each other.

They can act and look a bit like a domestic couple? Lakan has a lot of relationships with people, close, intimate friendships that all have a different basis.

I guess Maligno gives them a sense of familiarity. A fellow Filipino with a heart of gold despite their circumstances in their lives. They feel strangely at peace with each other, even if everyone else just sees monsters. (A bit like Lakan's relationship with Omen in a way?)

Man, Lakan would always take care of Maligno and ease him from a mission high just to make sure he's safe and stable.

They probably have the capability to overpower Maligno, his radiance could be his downfall if Lakan ever decides to dislike him to an extent and take his life away but, no, that's not in the table for them. They won't do that.

They both died in their prime because they spoke up against people of power, so that's another thing they'll have to bond over. They're both very strong-willed and hard-headed, so be wary of them if you act like a target to them.

Okay but head canon here, Maligno and Lakan help each other cook a lot. Like, their favorite foods when they were younger and stuff!

*PUNCHES CHAMBER* IT HAS OCCURED TO ME THAT CHAMBER WOULD BE STUCK IN BETWEEN THEM SOMETIMES AND MY BRAIN HAS ASCENDED TO A HIGHER LEVEL.

Maligno and Lakan share a talent for music too, you can trust them to jam out together and end up in a little fiesta. It's cute.

Whenever I think of Maligno and Lakan, I think of two domestic people, they'd get married to each other just for marriage buffs. Just two radiants who can rock your shit if you hurt the other and you'd be confused if you find out they're besties. Are they besties or are they lovers?

No, they're domestic.

They can also be VERY loud and cuss a lot when speaking Tagalog, it sounds like they're about to break in a fight but that's just Filipino culture for you.

Lakan's dialogues and little bits with Maligno

"Keep yourself together, Maligno. I can't have you losing yourself."

"You can trust me, Maligno. Just rest, and when you open your eyes again, I'll still be with you."

Ukiyo and Lakan's relationship! (@melonmiru/ he'sasweetheartcheckxemoutplease's OC)

I'm too shy to interact with xem but melon is so sweet and Ukiyo is so adorable, I love everything!

Lakan was a college professor. Now, Lakan's basically a spirit overlord. Ukiyo's younger than them. Ukiyo can summon spirits. You know what that means-

Lakan would treat her as a student, they'd teach her whatever she needs/wants so that they'd see her flourish and grow.

They want her to use her radiance for the better, but they also won't burden her by speaking of that choice, they just want her to be careful about what she does.

Spirits can take a toll on you, so be careful with how you treat them, that's what they'll teach her. (Also in general be careful w practices that involve spirits or anything supernatural to any practices that require these... you know, things)

It's like, they would always help her find out more about her radiance, branching it out so she'll be stronger, not just for the sake of power, but for her to protect herself, and to an extent, anyone who cares for her!

It's also that one teacher who's like a parent (or that professor who's like, strangely attractive or whatever)! I can imagine when she asks for help on something (it can be academic or if she's just curious about something) they'd always help her out (same for other agents) and eat piyayas with her.

They also make sure she's safe whenever she's out on a date with Yoru. They just want the two of them to have fun, and appreciate the fact that they make each other happy.

They're an unhinged professor but they also care for the younger agents so what happens is basically, she gets to have radiant training with a guy who knows what they're doing with their radiants except she has to deal with them sometimes accidentally summoning the wrong spirit so it turns to a mini mission to babysit tikbalangs or benevolent elemental spirits.

They'd summon the bakunawa and allow her to give it a piggyback ride or whatever. A powerful, serpentine dragon that loves to eat the moon but Lakan would just go, "Haha it's a lil guy, you can totally give him head pats."

Overall VERY wholesome relationship between them, plus they would absolutely wear dresses with her. She can buy them anything and they'd wear it and make it a fashion statement and no you can't talk shit about it or they will plummet you to the ground.

Also they definitely buy her enamel pins/talismans, cute ones too. *Heart hands*

Honestly, they'll be very chill and supportive with the fact she's dating Yoru, they were surprised, yes, but like? Honestly? They care for Yoru too, he needs someone to care for him, he obviously needs it.

They call her kikay but as a compliment, I'm sorry I don't make the rules. It's their nickname for her now.

Overall very... father-like figure? I could say they act like a professor but even if they're a professor they can also make you feel like you're coming home to a dad. Or an uncle. A mildly insane uncle but it counts.

Lakan's dialogues to her because I can

"You okay? Heard you guys had a tough mission, how about I make your favorite- ay, anong no? Kailangan mo kumain, you need to eat!"

"Out with Yoru again? How was it? I hope you two had fun. Oh?"

Zero's relationship with Lakan

I'm trying to think, honestly. Zero's so... Regina please, hand in Marriage? I care not if it's a loveless one, I wish to see you smile- ANYWAY!

Two incredible prodigies with different intentions concerning the future.

Lakan and Zero would be easy-going (sort of). Mostly because Zero keeps Chamber's ass safe by not telling Lakan the truth because, well, snitches get stitches.

Also because Lakan adores Zero's ambition. They love when people build their own successions, especially if it's from nothing (don't tell Cypher, they didn't really come from a rich family or anything).

They understand ambition very well, and she believes that she's doing what she loves in her field and that's what matters.

Coding was more of a hobby for them, but they'll be very eager to learn more about it, especially if it's from someone of her standing. She seems to know a lot, and since both of them were, at some points, Kingdom's gems, they've probably most likely heard a lot about her (to an extent, maybe even each other). Professor Charles "Around The World" Ramos.

They'd absolutely love to learn more about anything, the more they know, the more they can do! If she's willing to share what she knows, they'll listen to her intently.

Yeah, they're more of a multiverse and Radianite testing (and proven) guy, than anything else. I mean, if their magnum opus was supposed to be the collider in New Mexico before someone fucking ruined it, that should really tell you a lot of things.

Honestly? They probably would've guessed she has something up with Chamber, but Chamber really has them in a chokehold. So, to them, a friend of Chamber is a friend of theirs, but they will get something's up with her.

But they're Ramos, they'll believe that she can be redeemed. Surely she's here in Valorant to save someone, right? Even if it's only to an extent? They'll cheer her on, they want her to do things for the better, but if they can't change that, then they can't.

Doesn't stop them from trying to befriend her, though! They'd know a decent ally when they see one (they're optimistic, but they're not stupid.)

Yeah, they'd be very nice to her, even if they have some doubts. She's safe as long as they trust Chamber, and as long as she keeps buying them chocolates- they really love sweets whenever they work.

Anytime they meet and decide to hang out, though rare, would usually be a simple stroll, maybe a (shopping) spree if either are feeling extra, or just- aw man, I can see them going to a book store a lot when they get the chance.

She should be careful, both of them should, really. Think of this friendship as a dance, and if either of them tip off balance the dance is ruined. I think this is a fair analogy.

Dude can gut anyone with those nails, best not to annoy them.

Lakan's lines towards the rat (affectionate)

"Gina, Gina- oh, is it alright to call you that? Sorry! I wanted to ask if you slept well, you have the shittiest eyebags I've ever seen. And I haven't even slept since last Thursday. You need some coffee,"

"Zero, if I bothered your tech last night because of the power outage, I'm so, so sorry. Here, I remembered that you mentioned you like Dostoevsky, I bought a hardbound print of The Gambler. I didn't know if you'd like paperback, or if you have this one already... I'm sorry."

"Yo, I brought some fries on the way back to base. Check it, it's still warm, has a lotta cheese too."

Koi's relationship with the Professor!

Okay, don't get me started on her backstory. She's an activist? Fuck yeah. Ramos, despite them having a long history with Kingdom, actively fights against the wrongs Kingdom does, protesting any horrible things they've done, any cruel project they do, they always create a public spectacle for the world to see and scrutinize Kingdom.

That's what gave them the title of Hellraiser. They were such a fucking pain in the ass for Kingdom, it's embarrassing for this huge company to be tilted by this one specific scientist. In fact, to add to that, it's one of their own scientists.

Someone they can't even fire because Lakan's too important for them, goddammit.

So for them to know that she's like that, using her art as means for expression and activism? Oh honey, they'd love her. So much, and considering that she's so kind and sweet? They'd love her even more!

They really see the loving, youthful activist they once were, and that really drives them to do better, hey, if not for anyone else, for Koi.

They want to see her grow, to be more powerful, and they know that what she fights for is right, and they're so much more eager to fight with her.

Yeah, they're a mentor figure, but her radiance is something they're not aware of, but mentor in terms of: tired paperworks squad.

Trust me, they would always go to her and check if she's doing okay because they just know that the other agents would dump their paperworks on her.

They'd do this thing where they give her "paperworks" to study and take the ones that was dumped to her right back to their rightful owners. Only if she's overworked, kid needs to chill, bestie.

They'd buy her snacks, lots of snacks in case she doesn't want to switch paperworks. She deserves breaks!

I'd like to think they'd allow her to add designs to their lab coat, they allowed Raze to do it so if you add Koi to the mix, you have Ramos with a cool lab coat. Great!

Lakan isn't too good at drawing, unless it's technical, but they do have a talent for lettering. They can spray paint with Koi but it'll only be her name written down.

Again, he cares for Yoru, so to find out that she's dating him is like! Yes! Go get that boy's ass! He deserves some love!

Oh, they would totally design a spray can for her for different, harder shapes to be done easier for her- oh they're a little nerd they want her art and her talents to flourish and they will do what they can to support and help her out!

Lakan's dialogues towards Koi

"Anak- ay, wait, Koi, can you bring this to Cypher's lab? Tell him that I'll kill him if he continues touching my stuff. Thanks, sweetheart." (Lakan calling Koi their child, basically. Anak = child.)

"Koi, you should really rest up after that mission. No, this is Jett's paperwork, not yours- honestly, you should ask people to just pay you if you're going to do their reports. That's what I did in college!"

(This next one is a drabble idea, honestly)

"Koi, sweetheart, listen-" (Lakan taking a look at their empty, white work table before just nodding at Koi and setting down a box full of spray paint and nodding at her.) "New idea for you, my table's pretty barren, how about adding some color?"

Tao's relationship with Ramos!

(@rerenah's OC, sidenote, I love Tao so much he can step on me and I'd thank him. I'd be like, "Aroooorooooorooowoo-")

Tao's a nice kid with a big heart, he has the will, the fight and the talents that Ramos admires.

All his abilities, to heal others and himself, it's such a lovely radiance, and as much as they would love to learn more about it, they know their place. They won't pry too much, they would seem to be crossing a line, then.

They'd treat him like some sort of little brother, and it shows. They don't want him to tire too much in healing himself, they'll always treat it with some albulahiya (lucky for them that their radiance can be branched out to heal others, though it takes a longer- much longer- process. What? The supernatural is hard to understand, let alone control).

They also love talking/listening about his tattoos, including theirs too. These two have a lot.

Lakan would also watch and take care of him while he's training, or just leave him a few items while he practices in order for them to feel less paranoid in case he tries to overwork himself.

Okay, he finds his relationship with Yoru hilarious. They absolutely listen to the tea that Phoenix spills. Yeah, Phoenix can't stop talking and doesn't know when to shut up, that's how they get their gossip sometimes.

They'll sometimes watch in the sidelines even if they're supposed to have the both of them avoid fighting. Sorry guys, they just wanna see how it ends for the both of them, if it ends up with the two of them dating with Tao starting the relationship, Phoenix pays them a hundred bucks.

Or quid as he calls it. Fuckin' Brit, man. Also yes, they gossip about that with Phoenix too, it's their entertainment.

Lakan would occasionally pop by after his missions to check up on him, they do it to any agent they care deeply about, really. If they don't, it either means they're busy working or Chamber has them captive.

Okay but on a lighter note, they'd always remind Tao that they'd care for him, and that he should be reminded that though saving people is their job, they should be careful with their radiance, and they meaning Tao.

Always eager to remind him that.

Also to calm Yoru the fuck down and make sure he doesn't start shouting whenever they argue, it distracts people.

They say this but they set up Tao and Yoru a lot just to see how it goes. Also because just... come on, guys.

They say it with love, don't worry, but like, go argue somewhere else or just throw him off a balcony or something. Then again they have no right to speak and complain when they unabashedly flirt so !

Aurora's relationship with the Professor!

Two teachers who want what's best for their students?

Lakan can never return to their life as a professor nor turn to teaching even if it's something they love.

(and something they're great at, it doesn't have to be anything else but you know you can trust them to teach you.)

So I think they'd be a little jealous of Aurora. At first.

Brimstone trusts Aurora to be a mentor, and Brimstone doesn't think that Lakan's ready to be enough of a mentor to the kids due to his personal view of Lakan.

He knows they mean well, but he doesn't want them to get too attached to the kids. So that leaves Lakan, they might watch Aurora sometimes, take note of how she teaches, and they'd enjoy it.

They know she's passionate, and that just makes them love her (platonically).

Honestly, I feel like they'd have the dynamic of that serious teacher and the terrifying but silly teacher except both are adored by the students.

Is it because they're hot or they're able to teac- it's both. Don't worry about it.

Younger agents in Valo trusts Lakan to throw them off a bridge if a situation calls for it, they'd immediately assume that Ramos has a plan.

Also because Lakan's one of the few adults in the protocol who can back them up whenever they do stupid stuff.

Aurora's trusted to be a wise and trustworthy mentor to the agents. A woman with a big heart and the experience of teaching.

Nothing too deep going on yet, just a work relationship that maybe turns into a friendship because babysitting younger agents is a thing that both of them do and they both do it very well.

They like treating people gifts, but unlike some French asshole that I know, they don't do it to buy other's affection. It just means that they think you're neat.

Or they're bribing you so they could get away with having accidentally destroyed the electricity panel again during the testing of the portal.

(The second rarely happens. They barely apologize if they don't mean it.)

Man, I imagine sometimes Lakan and her would tell stories when they were still in the teaching profession. Sure, Lakan's careful with most of their information but when it comes to their days as a professor it just comes out.

Very passionate about people. Yeah, no one knows why they worked for Kingdom. Could've started their own company with their skill.

Damn, they'd look at Aurora and happily point at their sun pin (if they still have it, they kinda handed it to a French Fuck after establishing some relationship with him again like a dumbass). She reminds them of someone important to them.

So actually, they might enjoy her company a lot. They'd invite her for a walk sometimes, just enjoying her company because uh-!

Yeah. Someone. She reminds them of someone.

And someone they once were.

Some dialogue for the brain

"Aurora, do you mind if I teach with you today? Brimstone doesn't have to know- actually Brimstone should not know. Please? I can add substantial knowledge to the lesson-"

"Aurora, keep those kids going, alright? They need a guiding light. And at this rate, I might die doing something stupid."

"Are you tired, Aurora? I can take this shift if you want. It should help."

"Keep teaching, Aurora. And if you want, I'll be by your side. I respect you."

Noura and Lakan's relationship

(@lemonssoda's wonderful OC. I'm so done writing. I wrote so many things for her and it disappeared, I am slowly losing track of time and patience.)

It's a relationship, really.

Lakan would be a little terrified once Noura comes back to Cypher's life, they know they won't be enough for Noura. Dude, they will never be able to replace her mom, but they will try to be good for her.

They will try not to overdo it, but they hope that she sees that they love Cypher. It sounds weird but they do mean it.

On the other hand,

"I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING TO YOUR DAD, I SWEAR- You should ask what he does to me then I can answer you there."

"STOP THREATENING ME, I'M JUST TRYING TO WORK."

Lakan tries to be the best person they could for Noura. All the while being a merciless, slightly manic, bloodthirsty killer. They don't want to scare her away, or make her think that they're less than her.

In short, they're trying to be a good parental figure for her. Things are rough around the edges and they treat her more so as a college student than their kid but they are trying.

Aw, fluff idea of Cypher taking Noura and Lakan out for a walk. His two rabid dogs he calls family- okay, the second part was a joke, but it's something like that.

Mmm, expect a lot of gifts from Lakan. They work a lot but they know when to just stop and hang out. If they want to, though, sometimes they like a project and invest too much time on it.

They'd give her access to a few energy weapons if she'd like, they only want what's best for her, and that includes weapons. Come on, they were Kingdom's top physicists and much more, give them some trust when it comes to creating weapons of mass destruction.

Lakan's more on the unhinged side, I believe Noura and Cypher's more collected, but at the same time Lakan's a bad influence. They'd tempt Noura and ask her to go do some stupid prank with Breach.

Any of their childish resolve can be negated when they actually start acting like a dad/parent. Whenever they're worried, or if Noura decides to sneak out, they won't say anything or lash out, but they will remember and make sure that they know who she's with and where she went.

Unless she told them that she'd be going out, then they won't be so worried. They've seen the kid beat up E2'S counterparts, honestly, go off.

I guess they do have that parental instinct and aura to them, there's just some sense of normalcy to see them cook (whenever Jett's lazy, or when they feel like it, they'd cook. They do it well,), they'd teach her too, maybe, if she'd let them.

They just want to be- enough.

They can't have a family anymore, and if this is their chance, they'll take it. They want to have that feeling that they never had before.

And they want to fill a role for Noura. It must've felt empty all those years alone.

"Hey, I'm not perfect, but just so you know, I love the both of you very much. I care for you, and you don't have to feel the same but- just give me that chance."

"You wanna help me and Breach test out a new power source with his arms? There's definitely a lot of electricity. Maybe a bit of screaming. What? It's Breach."

"Hey, you did great in that fight. Uh- were you hurt? I just know you fucking rocked their shit, but I wanna know more if you're okay-"

"Easy, easy there, habibi. It's my turn to pull the strings on them." (My darling/beloved in Arabic. Lakan's still learning, but there's something about their accent when they speak Arabic- *punches Cypher* my turn on the professor.)

nuniq saw the kingdom logo on brim's pauldron and immediately decided these people were not worth listening to

soOOOO naturally youre gonna wanna bring out the radiant professor who spent the past few years being a sore in kingdom's neck

lakan and nuniq have pretty similar experiences. they're part of the "kingdom fucked up my home" club

although nuniq was still wary and standoffish to the rest of the protocol at first, she and lakan got along really quick

she trusts them enough to take her blood even after seeing them on the field lmaO

lakan is sorta like an older brother figure to her. they're like an unhinged version of her old friend amaruq

they steal her dog sometimes. it annoys her but she can't do anything about it because aput loVES lakan

overall they have a very deep trust and they both emphasize with eachother. theres so much lore to go over with both of them but i'll shorten it for the sake of this post hHFJDJGK

if lakan is an older sibling to nuniq, tefnut is sorta like a little sister

...a little cousin, more of

their radiants are interconnected (tefnut to water, nuniq to snow) so i like to imagine they help eachother develop their skills

they play this little game where tefnut tries to turn a snowball into liquid, passes it, and nuniq tries to freeze the water blob

as for noura herself, nuniq is surprised at how.. different noura is from cypher

if cyphers conniving and secretive noura is very bouncy and peppy

its almost funny

but there are a few similarities, like their wits, info-gathering and maybe even their laugh

(yes this is a suggestion to give noura and cypher the same laugh haha wink wink nudge nudge)

from her abilities and personality i take it that noura can be a little . brash in battle lmaO so that means nuniq would have to keep a very close eye on her

it pays off though, sometimes it takes brute strength to reinforce a tight defense

i think these two would get along!! noura might (lovingly) annoy nuniq but she cares for her. on a mission nuniq might try to protect noura specifically because cypher's already lost his family once, and she'll try to stop that from happening again.

dude i wont lie i feel like nuniq might turn to aurora for mentorship sometimes

nuniq had noone to turn to when she was still figuring out her radiance so most of it is self-taught, but aurora could possibly give her some wisdom that she could never grasp on her own

if ever she hears about how aurora acquired her radiance she'd be so.. surprised

after something so scary and life-altering it's amazing to see how composed she is

she has the experience of a school teacher and the radiant mastery of a goddess

she FEARS this woman. in a good way

i think the closest comparison i could make is with astra?

both astra and aurora have the capacity to fuck up the world as we know it but they're on the good side. thank god

any kind of radiance that involves things not immediately visible to the eye (such as astra's cosmic powers, or spiritual/otherworldly interference) catches nuniq's attention

i think nuniq does believe in a few spiritual things herself, mostly from inuit mythology

so for ukiyo to bridge the gap between the dead and the living,,,,a scary power, but an amazing one when used correctly and put in the right hands

that being said i'm not entirely sure nuniq would trust in her abilities yet

she'd rather have ukiyo train her radiance first, or keep watch on her if ever she has to go into the field

so as much as she doesn't want to, she'll be a bit strict around her

its for her safety mostly, its one thing to be given radiance– another thing to be in charge of literal spirits

canonically...there might be a bit of wariness/hostility because of chameleons history as a kingdom scientist

as with all kingdom employees it will take quite a while for nuniq to trust her

especially considering chameleon hasn't shown any clear resistance to kingdom, and was only taken in after her radianite exposure

in fact, nuniq wonders if shes aware of all the atrocities kingdom has done

viper acknowledges her faults as a kingdom chemist, brim wears their symbol almost as an act of rebellion (in my headcanon at least) but chameleon hasn't shown any remorse whatsoever for what kingdom has done. either she's naive to their actions or she directly helped in them, which nuniq fears

her being childhood friends with chamber unfortunately does not help the case ,,,,,

as much as nuniq wants to trust her friendly face her gut instincts make it difficult to do so. she'll respect her as a colleague but she'll try to keep her distance
