Two kinds of early humans.

Australopithecus Afarensis, AKA Lucy or Dinkenesh, a female hominin greatly resembling a bonobo. She has large cheekbones, a very flat ape-like nose, straight black hair on her head and shoulders, black skin, a brow ridge, and pink bonobo-esque lips. She smiles warmly into the camera, her head tilted back.

Australopithecus Sediba, a hominin with curly black hair, dark brown skin, and slightly more modern human features, such as a softer brow ridge and more protruding nose. Their arms are raised, and their head is lowered, neutrally looking into the camera, positioned to their side. Their bottom lip protrudes a little.

Homo Erectus Pithecantropus, a more modern hominin with curly dark brown hair and dark brown skin, a larger nose, visible eyebrows, and bordered lips akin to Homo Sapiens'. They hold a hand to their face while smirking warmly, blushing as well.

A Homo Ergaster child, the Turkana Boy. He has very dark brown skin and dark curly hair, a large bulbous nose, and a visible brow ridge. He grins while holding a wooden pole across his shoulders.

Homo Floresiensis, a modern-looking hominin with dark brown skin, curly black hair, a round protruding nose, thin bordered lips, and a flatter brow ridge. Their expression is a bittersweet smile while resting their chin on their palm.

A young Homo Neanderthalensis child. Their skin is pale with straight light brown hair, and they have visible eyebrows, a large round nose, pink bordered lips, and a very flat brow ridge. Their cheeks are rosy, and they smile with squinted eyes. They wear grey animal fur across their chest.

A Neanderthal man, with pale rosy skin, greying dark hair, including a short beard, which have been visibly trimmed. His brow ridge is more pronounced than the young child's, but he still very much resembles a modern human. He is smiling with squinted eyes and arched eyebrows, and there appear to be visible tattoos or other markings across his shoulders.

An early member of Homo Sapiens, a dark-skinned African man with the characteristics of our species: a flat brow ridge, eyebrows, protruding nose, bordered lips, and more. His greying hair is curly, including a trimmed beard, and his expression is stern. There are visible scars on his lips.

Ötzi the IceMan, a Chalcolithic Homo Sapiens man. He has pale skin and dark blonde hair tied back into a short ponytail, along with a long beard. He is visibly nude aside from clothing resembling a loincloth, and is holding some sort of pole or stick in one hand. He is smiling with an open mouth.

Lastly, a Neolithic Homo Sapiens woman named Lisar. She has pale rosy skin, and her brown hair is tied at the top of her head. She grins into the camera with a slightly quirked brow and while biting her bottom lip. She has visible facial tattoos that run down her neck across her shoulders, and appears to be wearing clothes reminiscent of modern human fashion, including a white shirt and a necklace.

He was also pretty terrible to his father but that’s for another time

For how basic of a character as Will seems to be, there’s actually a lot more layers to his character motivation and psychology onion than you might think at first glance… he has good intentions, but he consistently makes the wrong moves, and is tunnel visioned onto his goal— plus, obviously, he’s complicit about animal cruelty (unless it involves his animal, an ‘animal’ which he’s only interested in protecting because he’s all juiced up with ever so precious brain virus)

(Also when I say animal cruelty above I mean the medical/pysical abuse, obviously Will perpetuated cruelty HIMSELF by keeping Caesar IN HIS HOME AND RAISING HIM LIKE A PERSON IN THE FIRST PLACE)

Do you think Ceasar was potty trained?? I mean, probably right? We never see him in a diaper in the movies (even though he would’ve obviously needed to be diapered as a newborn)

And even if Will (my mortal enemy) never went out of his way to formally potty train him, in all likelihood I feel like eventually he would’ve just been like “Wait… everyone else in the house uses the commode, so— I feel like I should also start doing that” and he would’ve literally just… Started doing it one day with no guidance

You’re probably wondering what sparked this train of thought, and I can tell you— it’s because I often imagine whatever my life would be like as an ape in the pota universe, just for funsies— and I thought to myself “Wow, being an ape must suck because no toilet paper, lmao” and THEN I thought “Well maybe they actually would use leaves or something— but then again, why would they if it’s something they’ve never done… WAIT UNLESS CEASAR TAUGHT THEM TO BECAUSE HIS ASS WAS USING TP—“

one’s character has no impact on whether they were/are a victim or not, victim status is not something that is only afforded to the palatable.
