In 1952's "The Road to Bali" with Bob Hope and Bing Crosby, the island princess has strong feelings for Bob Hope because he resembles her childhood friend, a monkey with a face that oddly resembles Bob Hope.
This was achieved by putting a Bob Hope mask on a chimpanzee.

Chimpanzee collecting grapefruits By: Helmut Albrecht From: Wild, Wild World of Animals: Monkeys & Apes 1976
A Swedish zoo chimp named Santino calmly stockpiled 3–8 stones per cache before opening time—then, later, while agitated, launched them at visitors, marking one of the first instances of unambiguous evidence that an animal, other than humans, can make spontaneous plans for future events.
sources - 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 In 1997, at Sweden’s Furuvik Zoo, a male chimpanzee named Santino began calmly collecting stones from his enclosure’s moat, forming caches of 3 to 8 stones each before visitors arrived. Over the next decade, zoo staff observed this over 50 times. When agitated by crowds, he’d hurl the stones at them in dominance displays. A 2009 study in Current Biology hailed this as the first clear evidence of a non-human animal planning actions in a calm state for a future agitated one, showing advanced foresight. Santino even crafted concrete discs as extra projectiles, underscoring deliberate preparation.

MITSUE ADEBOWALE
Mitsue is a well known musician in the city of Haderia. Her personality is much like the animans who raised her, Obasi and Noctis. Mitsue is a kind-hearted animan, though she is easy to anger. Despite her bubbly exterior, she can be vicious and aggressive if she’s agitated or uncomfortable. Mitsue is otherwise friendly and outgoing, and wants to forge a safe space for her community.
She has taken a dedicated interest in composing and performing music under the name "DJ SOULBLADE". When she isn't performing at clubs around the city, she's hanging out with the Phantoms, hacking into systems and all kinds of tech to aid them in their work. Although, Obasi would prefer that she stays out of Phantom business and focuses on her music. Mitsue wants to prove that she’s capable of helping the Phantoms, but Obasi’s persistence in pushing her away makes it difficult to do so. She’s taken to working behind the Phantom Leader’s back instead.
When Mitsue isn’t hacking into mainframes and security cameras, she’s creating unique electronic music and putting on free shows in the underground scene of Haderia. Mitsue has a rather large online fanbase, but she’s sure to keep her life as a hacker far from her digital presence. Maintaining some anonymity online was what initially led her down the path of exploring the virtual world and how she can manipulate it.
after all these years, mitsue finally has a reference! i’ve gone through a lot of changes with her design and settling on something wasn’t easy. now i’ve finally made a design that i believe reflects her story and character the best!
i love her so much and hope to (and will) draw more of her. she’s a huge part of my book as well!
