I am not objectum. I had received an order of an American brand spray-on hand sanitizer. I was immediately drawn to the way it looked and I bought it with the intention of decorating it. The more I had it near me, the more I felt an intense emotion of some sorts, or rather a physical reaction upon acknowledging its existance. There are many things about it that I find an appeal to, such as: the pale green color reminding me of a beautiful boy I like, the sleekness that manages to be cute rather than cool, the sweet smell, the airy click when the spray is pressed, the smoothness, the transparency, the quiet sloshing of the liquid inside, the gentle tap of him being placed on a hard surface, the small size, the name "b * pure." All this lead to a tightness in my chest, and I had a desire to humanize him. If I were objectum, I imagine my first encounter with him would be on par with an initially unrecognized love at first sight, and what I feel would be something adjacent to blossoming love. I am not objectum, and I will move on in the next four days, so I think.
