It’s been a long time since we had a chat. It’s totally my fault and I take complete ownership of the lack of communication and conversation. I’ve been going through a cyclical existential crisis that is seemingly unending, hence the use of cyclical. I’ve also been taste testing self-doubt and surprisingly, I found that I kind of liked it. Yea, I know.

A Space for Solitude | The Watermark Hotel in Jimbaran, Bali Ah, Bali. Such a place to spend a week in solitude and searching the crevices of my soul for an awakening? Lush greenery, a blazing sun, and countless pools to dip my chipped toenails into – I knew I had to visit Bali to experience my own version of Eat, Love, Pray. I was determined to answer the heart-stopping inquiry of “can I?” As I planned out my five days, I was less concerned with planning out an itinerary and more with the aesthetics of my lodging. As I would be splitting my time between different areas, I had specific requirements on how I would spend the first 3 days of my creative-cation.
