I've been angry-crying hysterically for the past 30 minutes because I hate absolutely everything about how Billy's storyline was handled. I hated lots of stuff about this season, Hopper's death too, but BILLY'S DEATH?

You introduce an SEVENTEEN/EIGHTEEN YEAR OLD character as a villain, who you proceed to humanize by giving him an abusive father, then you have him get possessed, SHOW THAT HIS MOTHER ABANDONED HIM AND LEFT HIM WITH HIS ABUSIVE FATHER, you give him a scene in which he cries not like an adult, but like a scared child who is afraid of punishment (sauna test) and then you KILL HIM, REDEEMING HIM THROUGH DEATH? WHAT THE FUCK?? Leaving his sister in the same abusive household, which YOU DON'T EVEN MENTION AGAIN, to fend for herself without him?

How fucking cynical and hopeless and fucking unoriginal and TONE DEAF is that?

This is fucking unbelievable.

Neil Hargrove is alive and thriving. Billy is dead. Fuck this shit.
