Sooooo excited to have to opportunity to draw Chrollo and Pakunoda being cute for this year's @hxhbigbang26!!

I was paired with @laforzadelvoila, whose fic is suuuuper sweet and fluffy!! I thought Chrollo teaching Paku how emails work was just too cute not to draw :D

Killua makes an expression we've never seen before, and there's an extreme zoom-in to his shocked eyes. The panel of just Gon as Killua thinks "I'm the one" feels like he's taken special notice of Gon. It's the first time that we see Killua's thoughts wrapped around them (particularly the way it encases the two in the Japanese typesetting, which is why I used it here), and is the first time we see Killua feel needed by Gon. Their need for each other is mutual—and that new experience for Killua sparks something new within him.

Have you thought about how the reason why Chrollo loves caramel pudding so much is because he grew up dirt poor with food in general a scarcity, but things like desserts likely all but non-existent?

How often do you think baby!Chrollo & friends got to eat pudding and the like?

Probably never. Not until they left MC.

So Chrollo's very first taste of dessert (which I hc was caramel pudding) must have been a huge experience for him. One he'd probably remember for the rest of his life. It must have felt like lavish luxury, but more importantly a sign that he and his friends would never go hungry or wanting again.

It was likely the same thing the first time he could take a warm shower. Or a bath. Or sleep in a bed, and with fresh sheets. Or wear whole shoes and clean clothes. Or go to sleep with a full stomach. Etc. Stuff so many take for granted.

But for Chrollo (and friends) these things would be novel and probably not something they ever forget to appreciate and cherish.

That's why I truly don't think Chrollo (or friends) would ever be wasteful. (On the contrary, one of my hcs is that Chrollo loathes food waste in any shape or form).
