Reese and Shaw have to go undercover for some sort of fancy gala or event, so they go to change into their fancy clothes that Finch got for their disguises, a dress and a suit respectively. They go into adjacent rooms/changing stalls whatever, and then come back out moments later. The dress is too big for Shaw and the suit is way too small for John. They switch.

John Greer Person of Interest: The Cold War (Season 4, Episode 10)

John Greer is perhaps the greatest villain in my favorite show, Person of Interest—unbelievably calm, controlled, with a harsh, inhumane view of how to make the world better. And John Nolan (the uncle of show creator Jonathan Nolan and his brother, filmmaker Christopher Nolan) portrayed Greer with such quiet intensity. Greer's character and Nolan's portrayal are two of the many reasons I love the show.

I've been rewatching the show for the nth time. In fact, I lost count of how many rewatches I did because a day is not complete for me without at least one POI episode. Yesterday (a heavy personal day), before I slept, I watched another episode to keep me grounded, and Greer was on it. Then I woke up to the heartbreaking news: Mr. Nolan passed away at the age of 87.

Rest in peace, John Nolan. You will always be remembered.

TELL ME HE DIDN’T DO THAT ON PURPOSE

Reese is absolutely, undeniably down bad for Finch. There is no debate. As many have said before this isn't even a fact of the writing, it's just how Jim Caviezel plays the character: there is no straight way to explain the way he behaves around Finch. I agree with everyone on that.

Finch, however - now perhaps I am projecting a bit and I do 1000% expect that for a character that ranks very high on the Literally Me list - I read his relationships as more like schizoid pairings than typical intimate love. In schizoid personality disorder a person may attach themselves to a small handful of very good friends (or one singular Very Very good friend) and they receive the full extent of the individual's affections, which are more limited in expression and less intimate than a healthy individual, but that doesn't mean the schizoid cares any less, they just show it differently. Aside from a few scenes that are largely played for laughs, the show doesn't give us much that implies that Finch cares for any of your typical relationship stuff whatsoever. His relationship with Grace is very similar to his relationship with Nathan, or Reese for that matter. I find the line "If they harm Grace in any way, kill them all." super super telling because that's pretty much exactly how he reacts whenever Nathan or Reese end up in danger: he goes after Northern Lights on a roaring rampage of revenge, and doesn't care whether he also goes up in smoke if he can't defuse Reese's bomb vest. He very deeply CARES for these people in very similar ways, but he rarely appears to be in love with them, just really really REALLY good friends. This is why I personally see Finch as an asexual with SzPD. Man's got trauma on top of trauma and can't have a normal relationship with anyone anymore (and that's people who actually KNOW him, nevermind the people who only know a falsity of him!). And we love him for it!
