You can call me 3xho. I use she/they, though just she/her or they/them are fine if you wanna stick to one.
Bigotry of any kind isn't welcome on this blog.
This blog isn't strictly fandom, but some things that frequently appear are: The Arcana, Last Legacy, Touchstarved VN, Percy Jackson and related book series, Gravity Falls, Keyframes VN, Obey Me (SWD)
Currently listening to The Magnus Archives, watching Critical Role Campaign 4, reading Dracula, and playing Keyframes and Obey Me.
My Ao3 is @/3chowrites, ATM there's a couple of Last Legacy fics.
Tag organization key under the cut
'3cho rambles to the void' = personal posts
'choir shenanigans' = personal posts specifically about choir
'the wretched organ' = personal posts that are period-related (mostly onomatopoeia of agony, ex. 'aough')
'asks' = self explanatory. Asks are also tagged with the blog that sent it, or in the case of anons, 'anon'.
'3xho x art' = art posts/sketch dumps
Any posts I make of certain media is going to be under '3xho x' followed by the media's name (ex. '3xho x last legacy')*.
*The Arcana is the one exception, all posts are under '3cho plays the arcana' because i hadn't come up with a tagging system yet.
Posts I reblog of specific media may or may not be tagged appropriately. I'm trying to organize my blog after years of having it I swear
'oc tag' = anything with multiple or referring to general OCs. All OCs are under their own tags as well ('oc: [name]'). Here is a list of ones I've mentioned the most on here.
'oomh' = a friend's game WIP. I'll leave it up to him how much information he'd like to be disclosed, but feel free to send asks about it to me, @/pikinethegator, or @/ocean-of-my-heart

Satan: *smiling, engaged excitement* Thanks for coming with me today. Thereâs a new book that I simply must get my hands on.
Satan: *sighs, a bit sulky* Lately, Iâve been downloading so many e-books that I got an earful from Levi for slowing down the internet at the House of Lamentation. So, I figured I should buy a physical copy.
Anythingâs fun if Iâm with you.
Satan: *smiles fondly* Yes, I feel the same way. *a bit sheepish* Itâs a relief to hear you say that, though. I was worried that I might be imposing on you.
â
2. Youâll have to come shopping with me next time.
Satan: *smiles, nods agreement* Sure, thatâs fair. Iâd be happy to accompany you any time.
â
*fade to bookstore*
Satan: *smiling, contentedly browsing* Oh, here it is. This is the book I wanted. The Before-Lunch Mysteries. Itâs the second novel in a mystery series.
Satan: *tilts head* Hm? What is it, Chise? Are you looking for something, too?
Yes.
Satan: *keen smile* All right. Iâd be happy to help you choose.
â
2. Do you have any recommendations?
Satan: *lights up* *nods* Of course. There are loads of books that Iâd like you to read.
Satan: *touches chin thoughtfully* Letâs see... What genre are you in the mood for?
A mystery novel.
Satan: *smiles approvingly* In that case, how about this one? The Devotion of Mister Devil. Itâs by a very popular Devildom author. He writes several books a year, and they often get made into TV series or movies. Itâs an easy read, and there are no holes in the logic. Itâs perfect, really.
â
2. A romance.
Satan: *smiles* A romance, huh? In that case, Iâd recommend Whispering Love in the Center of the Devildom. It was so popular that it got both a movie and a TV series. Romance novels arenât really my cup of tea, but this one was entertaining enough.
â
3. An essay collection.
Satan: Essays, huh? In that case, this one might do the trick. The Owner and the Devil. Itâs a collection of essays by a popular comedian in the Devildom. Itâs mostly his musings on everyday topics, but it makes you chuckle as you read.
â
Satan: *nods, approving choice* Are you interested? Iâd be happy to get it for you. As a thanks for coming with me today. Just let me pay, and then we can go home...
Satan: Hm...? *pauses, quirks eyebrow* Hold on a second. There are more new releases over here. *hums thoughtfully*Â This Book Will Definitely Make You Cry, huh?
No way they can guarantee that.
Satan: Yes. That is a bold assumption. Itâs a good marketing ploy to draw attention to the book, though.
â
2. That sounds interesting!
Satan: *raises brows in surprise* Are you into that sort of thing? âŠI see.
â
Satan: *shakes head* Iâve read a few books that left me feeling emotionally raw, but I hardly ever cry over them. *face softens, mixed feelings* So, Iâm kind of curious about this bookâs claim.
*leafs through a few pages*
Satan: *frowns in thought* Hmm⊠*nods confirmation* I like the writing style. I guess Iâll get this too. *returns gaze, smiles* Okay, letâs pay and go home.
--------
Belphie:Â I'd fall asleep.
--------
*HOL library*
Satan: *fond smile, engaged* Here, I made some tea. And I assume youâd like some cookies, too?
Of course! Thanks!
Satan: *chuckles in amusement, sincere smile* I know you so well.Â
â
2. No thanks. Iâd rather not dirty the book.
Satan: *respectful nod* I see... So you also take good care of books. *smiles* Well, help yourself if you change your mind.
â
Satan: Iâm going to start reading The Before-Lunch MysteriesâŠ
*moves closer to one another*
*flips page*
Satan: *engrossed* âŠ
*flipping pages*
Satan: âŠ
This is nice.
Satan: *looks up from book, eyes lighting up* Hm...? *smiles affectionately* Yes, it is. Even though weâre just reading, itâs very soothing. *happy sparkles, eyes crinkling with delight* Simply sharing the same space with you makes me happy.
â
2. Keep reading in silence.
Satan: âŠ*hums distractedly, uncertain* Itâs so quiet that it feels strange. It almost puts me on edge. *shakes head* I suppose Iâm so used to it being rowdy around here that my sense of normalcy is backwards.
â
Satan: *engaging smile* Howâs the book, Chise? Are you enjoying it?
I donât know yet.
Satan: *nods* I see. I suppose youâre still at the beginning. *keen smile* It gets more interesting towards the middle, so keep it up.
â
2. Itâs really good!
Satan: *pleased chuckle, smiling* I thought youâd like it. It gets even better as you get further in.
â
Satan: *eager* If you like that one, I can lend you a few others by the same author. There are still so many books that I want you to readâŠÂ
How many?
Satan: *hums thoughtfully* Hmm... About 10,000. *defeated grimace* And thatâs me being picky.
â
2. One book at a time.
Satan: *nods seriously* Thatâs true. Iâll introduce the rest some other time. *smiles* Â Itâs something to look forward to.
â
Howâs your book?
Satan: *perks up, engaged smile* Hm? Oh, itâs actually much better than I was expecting. The beginning is written from the corpseâs perspective. That unconventional approach really drew me in. Iâm already quite far into the book.
â
2. It looks like youâre already quite far in.
Satan: *raises brows, surprised by observation* Yes... Iâm about halfway.
2. A) You read so fast!
Satan:Â You think so? Iâm actually reading this one at a leisurely pace.
2. B) Can you teach me how to speed-read?
Satan: *hums, shakes head in doubt* Teach you...? I just do it naturally, so Iâm not sure I could explain it. I suppose the more you read, the faster you become?
â
Satan: Sorry, Iâm distracting you from your book. *smiles encouragingly* Go ahead and keep reading. Iâll get back to mine, too.
--------
AsmoBaby:Â Such beautiful tears!
--------
Satan:Â ...Oh, the end. *sighs with contented satisfaction, smiling* That was quite a good read.
Youâre finished already?!
Satan:Â Yes. I was curious about the ending, so I rushed through the last bit... Iâm really looking forward to the next book in the series.
â
2. Iâm only halfway.
Satan: *encouraging nod* Well, no need to rush. Take your time and enjoy it.
â
Satan:Â How about a break? Your eyes must be tired. *fondly* Would you like some more tea? Give me your cup.
*checks pot*
Satan: *surprised blink* ...I kept the pot on, but it seems to have cooled down a little. *suddenly self-conscious, unsure* Are you sure youâre not bored? I mean, weâve spent our whole date readingâŠ
This is nice once in a while.
Satan: Right? Going to the shops or movies is fun, but one also needs the occasional quiet day. Still, we can do whatever you want next time. Iâd like to share your hobbies as well.
â
2. Iâm really enjoying it.
Satan: *immediate happy sparkles* *chuckles, sheepish smile of relief* Really? Iâm glad. Iâm also enjoying it. *happily* Itâs wonderful to be able to share the things that I love with you. I hope weâll be able to do this more often in the future. Just the two of us, curled up with some good books⊠*grins, eyes crinkling, even more happy sparkling* ...Itâs absolute bliss.
â
Satan: *eager* Right... Maybe Iâll give This Book Will Definitely Make You Cry a shot next.
*page flip*
*time skip*
Satan: *engrossed* âŠ
Satan: ⊠*expression falls, sad yearning*
Satan: âŠ! *looks down in sorrow, choking up*
*soft, sad piano music*
A-Are you crying?!
Satan: *startles*Huh?! *immediately turns red* N-No...! I mean... Â
â
2. Would you like a tissue?
Satan: A tissue ...?! *horrified realization* Did you see that!
â
Satan: *looks down with a sulky frown, blushing* Itâs not like that! Iâm not crying. Iâve just got something in my eye...
Satan: *pouty scowl* ...Youâre teasing me, arenât you?! *determinedly drops eye contact again, deep embarrassment* Donât look at me...!
â
3. Are you okay?
Satan: *shy, sad eye contact* Thank you for worrying about me. *embarrassedly looks away again* Itâs fine, Iâm not hurt or anything...
â
Satan: *slumps in resignation, sighing sadly, shaky* ...Whoâd have thought that Iâd actually cry. It caught me completely off guard...
Iâll pretend I didnât see anything.
Satan: *sighs* Thank you. *grimaces, embarrassed, looking away* Itâs absolutely mortifying that you saw me cry...
â
2. Itâs nothing to be embarrassed about.
Satan: I know, but to think that youâve seen me cry⊠*sighs, shakes head in sad confusion* Itâs a funny feeling.
â
Satan: *looks to the side, self-conscious, quiet* ...I canât believe I got so choked up.
--------
Lucifer: If youâre not happy, chanâŠ
--------
Satan: his book is a love story between two individuals of different races. *carefully neutral* The protagonist is a human who wanders into the fairy country and falls in love with a fairyâŠÂ Most of the characters in the book support their relationshipâŠso they start searching for a way that they can stay together.
Satan: *expression falls* *shakes head, sorrowful sigh* However, in the end, theyâre torn apart by the fact that theyâre from different worlds. Itâs a tragic love story.
It sounds like us.
Satan: *quiet, withdrawn* Yes... I thought so too. I didnât want to make that comparison, but I couldnât help it.
â
2. That would make anyone cry.
Satan:Â Would you like to try reading it? No, I think you should read it.
â
Satan: *shakes head, sad confusion* I still canât believe how emotional it made me, though. I want to read it again, but at the same time, I donât want to experience this sadness a second time. *sighs* At least, thatâs how I feel right now.
Satan: âŠChise. Do you ever think about itâŠ? *heartbroken expression* That at some point we may have to say goodbye to each other?
I try not to.
Satan: I understand... Itâs better to just enjoy the present. Thereâs no point in worrying over the future. *brave, pained smile* I should just treasure this time I have with you now.
â
2. Sometimes.
Satan: *soft hopelessness* Itâs hard not to dwell on it, right? Whether weâll get a happy or sad ending⊠*shakes head, brave determination* But regardless of which way it goes, itâs not going to happen any time soon. Thereâs no point in worrying too much about it now.
â
Satan: *softly* ...Chise, come here.
*moves closer to Satan*
Satan: *cheeks turn pink, earnest eyes* ...*softly pleading* Can I give you a hug?
Of course.
Satan: *hurting, quiet distress* Sometimes I worry that youâll disappear... But, youâre here with me right now.
Kiss him.
*kisses*
Satan: MnâŠ
Satan: *relaxes a bit* *sighs, blushing* Iâm sorry. This isnât like me at all⊠*small, loving smile* But that kiss made me feel a little better.
â
2. Iâm not going anywhere.
Satan: *shakes head, emotional eye contact* I know... And I have no intention of letting you go, either.
â
Satan: *preoccupied sadness* I do wish this book could have had a happier ending, though...Â
Itâs good because itâs tragic.
Satan: I suppose tragic stories are more dramatic⊠*chokes up again* But, I really wanted things to work out for this couple...Â
Satan: âŠ*sighs heavily, shaking head* Oh well, I suppose thatâs just a personal preference. *brave smile* However, Chise, Iâll be sure to give our story a happy ending.
/end
â
2. Then letâs give it one!
Satan: *surprised* A happy ending? *confused, doubtful* How? What do you mean?
2. A) Letâs contact the publisher!
Satan: Iâm not sure thatâs the right way to go about it.Complaining to the publisher wonât guarantee a happy ending for the couple. Oh well, I suppose this ending is beautiful in its own way.
/end
â
2. B)Â We could add some pages.
Satan: *eyes widen* You mean, write our own ending and add it to the end of the book? *finally lights up again, smiling* Thatâs a good idea. Give me a minute. Iâll go and get a pen.
*small time skip*
Satan: *eager* Okay... So, how should it end?
2. B-1)Â They live together in one of the worlds.
Satan: *nods, hopeful little smile* Yes, letâs go with that.
*sound of pen on paper*
Satan:Â ...Iâve made it so that the human stays in the fairy country, and they live there together forever. *smiles, soft hope* Thatâs a good ending.
Satan: Of course, they still have a long road ahead of them. *relaxes, calming down* Itâs an ending to the story, but also a new beginning for them. Novels tend to only focus on the dramatic moments in an individualâs life. *smiles, eyes softens with affection* However, in real life, itâs sometimes the everyday moments that play a bigger role. *lovingly* ...Thinking about it that way, itâs quite interesting, donât you think?
â
2. B-2)Â They can travel back and forth between the worlds.
Satan: *surprised* I see. That idea hadnât even occurred to me. *hums thoughtfully* However, they each probably have their own lifestyles and families that theyâd be reluctant to give up. So, theyâd want to spend the majority of their time in their own world. *smiles in satisfaction* If you think about it that way, this is the perfect ending. Iâll write it like thatâŠ
*sound of pen on paper*
Satan: All right. In this version, the fairy king takes pity on them and creates a gateway between the human and fairy worlds. Now they can visit each other whenever they please⊠*doting smile* So they live happily ever after. There, perfect.
â
Satan: *cheered up, hopeful* I considered donating this book to the library, but I think Iâll keep it in my room instead. This is our memory, after all. *moves in closer again, smiling warmly* I hope that you and I will get a similarly happy ending someday⊠*chuckles with delight, happy sparkles* Wouldnât that be wonderful?Â

Text chat (OG exclusive):Â Don't Tell Anyone! (from Satan)
--------
Satan: Have you finished reading yours?
Not yet.
Satan: Youâre reading at a leisurely pace, I see.
Satan: Let me know how it was once youâre finished.
Satan: Still, I canât believe I let you see me in such a miserable state todayâŠ
Satan: Please donât tell any of my brothers that I cried.
I wonder if Iâll be able to resistâŠ?
Satan: I beg of you, donât. Iâll give you anything.
Satan: Just keep quiet about this.
â
2. Of course not!
Satan: I know youâre not the type to gossip.
Satan: I trust you.
Satan: Still, Iâm actually glad it was in front of you.
Satan: Who knows what wouldâve happened if Iâd cried in front of one of them?
Satan: I donât want to give them any blackmail material.
--------
Text chat (OG exclusive):Â Taking Up Reading (from No Big Brothers Allowed(3))
--------
Beel: Satan, could you recommend a good book?
Satan: A good book? Of course, I have plenty.
Satan: What genre are you interested in? And do you prefer fiction or non-fiction?
Beel: Anything is fine.
Satan: Thatâs a little vague.
Satan: At least tell me the sort of mood youâre going for.
Asmo: I think the more pertinent question isâŠwhy the sudden interest in books? Are you going to eat it, Beel?
Asmo: It wonât taste good, you know?
Beel: Not this time.
Asmo: Then, why? Itâs not like you.
Beel: Chise was readingâŠ
Beel: âŠand suggested I try it too.
Asmo: So youâre going to take up reading just because Chise suggested it?
Beel: Yeah. So anything is fine. What kind of books does Chise read?
Beel: Or if possible, Iâd like a story that involves delicious food.
Asmo: What a requirementâŠ
Satan: I refuse.
Beel: Why?
Satan: Now that I know your reason, Iâm not interested in helping you.
Asmo: Oh? Whatâs this? Is Satan getting a little jealous?

Jigsaw voice: Hello, anime inspired White artist. In front of you is a wide variety of art utilities, along with a laptop connected to the internet for references. Your task is simple: draw a person with brown skin without adding gray undertones and not giving them blue eyes, and youâll be free to leave. If you say even once, âthatâs just not my style!â âI just donât know how to draw that!â Or âbut theyâre not in that aesthetic!â Then the cage in the room with you will be opened and the extremely hungry bear within will be free to eat you. You have as much time as you need to complete it.
it has come to my attention there exists a subset of reenactors who go around renaissance faires "infecting" bystanders with the Plague. i wish to thank these heroes for their service
yes this can come in the form of dressing up as a pack of rats and offering people "Congratulations! You've Contracted The Black Death" hand stamps, but consider also:
walking around asking people if they want to pet your rat (plushie)
going in character as a fur trader carting around a wagon full of exotic wares at competitive prices
handing people a business card containing only the printed image of a flea (and on the back, the text "uh-oh!")
Simeon: *smiles affectionately* We should do this again sometime. Itâd be tough to arrange something like this, but... *dips head hopefully, smiling eagerly* ...Iâm sure we could at least manage a sleepover.
â
2. We could have a sleepover!
Simeon: *giggles cheerfully* Haha, I wasnât expecting you to suggest that. Actually, I was just thinking the same thing.Â
â
Simeon: *touches back of neck with a hopeful dip of his head, holding gaze meaningfully* But if we do a sleepover, Iâd like it to be just us.Â
Solomon: *walks in with a cheerful smile* Chise, Simeon, are you ready? Weâre about to leave.
ââ
Several days later...
ââ
*RAD classroom*
Mammon: *glares in outrage* Hey, Lucifer! We asked ya to reduce the remedial classes, didnât we?! So whyâd we get even more of âem?!
Lucifer: *impassive, completely unconcerned* That was the condition for moving the date. I warned you there would be consequences, but you chose to prioritize the party. You only have yourselves to blame.Â
Beel: *shakes head worriedly* You never said anything about this.
Belphie: *pouts with a shake of his head, mumbling* Yeah, Iâm out.
*bump*
Asmo: *wide-eyed gasp of shock* Belphie! Stay with us!
Satan: *shakes head with a sigh* Itâs no use. Heâs out cold...Â
Lucifer: *exasperated* Quit your whining and get back to work. *kinda sulky* The longer you take, the longer I have to sit here and watch you.
Simeon: *laughs softly, smiling* Oh? Well, isnât that something.Â
Lucifer: *straightens in surprise* Simeon...
Simeon: *cooooy amusement* So I take it nobody would mind if I went home with Chise, then?
Mammon: *eyes widen* What?!
Asmo: *jumps in shock* Youâre going home with Chise?!
I want to go home with Simeon.
Simeon: *giggles, eyes creasing with his smug grin* See?Â
Mammon: *looks down at his desk with a helpless slump in his seat* Ya sure about this, Lucifer?
Lucifer: *narrows eyes with a huff, shaking head impatiently* Iâd rather that than let Chise walk home alone.
Simeon: *smiling sweetly, inclining head in invitation* Letâs get going, then.
â
2. Good luck, guys!
Satan: *scowls with a noise of contempt in his throat, shrouded in black smoke* Dammit! Iâve never hated you as much as I do right now, Mammon.
Levi: *sighs in resigned defeat* Iâm not a happy camper, but I canât hold anything against Christopher Peugeot, so Iâll grin and bear it...Â
â
Lucifer: *gives Simeon a serious look, nodding once* Look after Chise, Simeon.
Simeon: *smiles, nods back in understanding* Will do.
ââââââââ
LordDiavolo:Â Sleepovers are always fun!
ââââââââ
*outside HOL*
Simeon: *regretful sigh* Well, we took the long route, but weâre here already. *smiles gently* I'll see you later, Chise.
Do you...want to try that sleepover?
Simeon: *straightens with wide-eyed surprise/hope* Hm? Are you asking me to stay the night?Â
â
2. Please donât go...
Simeon: *visibly taken aback for a moment, realizing meaning* ...*smiles gently* I donât want to leave either⊠*meets eyes with a look of desire, blush rising to cheeks* Iâd stay with you forever if I could.
2. A) Then donât go.
Simeon: *locks eyes with longing* Thereâs no way I can leave if you look at me like that.
2. B) Weâd have the place to ourselves.
Simeon: *nods* Thatâs true...
â
Simeon: *expression softens, gaze meaningful* Weâre unlikely to get another chance for a sleepover anytime soon, are we?Â
Simeon: *looks back down the path with a thoughtful frown* The brothers will be back eventually, but with that kind of workload, we should have plenty of time to ourselves. *meets eyes again with a coy smile* At the very least, we can spend some quality time together.
Simeon: Iâll let the others at Purgatory Hall know. *eyes crinkle happily* Iâll tell them that Iâm housesitting with you while the brothers are away. If I call it a sleepover, theyâll want to come too, so phrasing is important.Â
*fade to HOL kitchen*
Simeon: *nods thoughtfully* Now... Since weâve got the place to ourselves, why donât we make something to eat? *smiles* Iâll check the fridge.
*opens fridge door*Â
Simeon: *expression falls in realization* Ah... Itâs empty.
Beel ate everything this morning.
Simeon: *laughs sympathetically* I figured. We wouldnât want the brothers coming home to an empty fridge ((why not)), so we should do some grocery shopping.
â
2. Letâs go shopping!
Simeon: *smiles with a noise of agreement* Yes, that way we can pick whatever we want, so it works out for everyone.Â
â
3. Why donât we eat out?
Simeon: *laughs in delight, eyes crinkling* That sounds like a date as well. *smiles, so generous to the undeserving* But the brothers will be hungry when they get back, so Iâd like to get them something too.
3. A) All right, shopping it is.
Simeon: *nods enthusiastically, motivated hum* Yes, thatâs our first mission for the sleepover.Â
3. B) Thatâs really kind of you!
Simeon: *touches back of neck with a bashful dip of his head, smiling in amusement* Would you be disappointed in me if I told you that itâs mostly because I want to spend some time with you in the kitchen? Well, we just got here, but I guess weâre off again.
â
Simeon: *hopeful smile* We can take it nice and slow, and treat it like a date.Â
ââââââââ
monSOLO:Â Simeon's really enjoying this.
ââââââââ
*Devildom supermarket*
Simeon: *kindly, relaxed* What do you want for dinner, Chise?
Letâs eat party-style!
Simeon: *grins happily, shoulders shaking in amusement* Right, it needs to feel like a sleepover. Weâll need plenty of snacks.
Simeon: *giggles under his breath, eyes soft with hope* Hehe. I wonder what people think of us when they see us shopping together like this?Â
That weâre a couple who lives together?
Simeon: *touches back of neck while shyly peeking out from the corner of his eye* Youâre probably right. *smiles, though brow furrows with longing hope* Itâs hard not to smile just thinking about it.
â
2. That weâre running an errand?
Simeon: *flinches, eyes widening* Do you think people whoâve been sent out on an errand smile this much? *looks down with a deep, self-conscious blush, rubbing back of his neck* I canât help but think of us living together someday...and that makes me so happy.
âââ Route 1 âââ
Simeon: *shakes head with a sigh of regret* The brothers sure are lucky. They get to go shopping with you like this all the time.Â
Youâre the only one who makes my heart pound, though.
Simeon: *taken aback* Really? *laughs under his breath, holding gaze meaningfully* If you keep saying cute things like that, Iâll want to do a whole lot more.Â
Simeon: *shy, flirtatious smile, keeping gaze locked* Say... Can we hold hands?
ACCEPT:
A) Yes, letâs.
Simeon: *eyes crinkle with joy* Now everyone will know that weâre a couple.
â â â âÂ
REJECT (100% SKIPPABLE WOW):
B) Not now...
Simeon: *hums in disappointment, expression saddening* Okay... Iâm so excited that itâs hard to hold back.
â â â âÂ
âââ Route 2 âââ
Simeon: The brothers sure are lucky. They get to go shopping with you like this all the time.Â
2. Itâs nice being with family.
Simeon: *smiles* Yeah. Itâs hard not to be a little jealous of them.
âââ End of Routes
Simeon: *eyes widen in surprise* ...Wow, we picked up a lot of stuff while we were talking. *smiles encouragingly* Do we have everything we need? Let me know if thereâs anything else you want.
*fade to MCâs bedroom*
Simeon: *laughs in delight, smiling happily* Ah, I feel much better now. The bath in the House of Lamentation is so roomy.Â
We should get in together next time.
Simeon: *eyes widen* Together? *looks down with a hum of deep regret, blushing fiercely while he very much kicks himself* Right... I almost feel stupid for not inviting you in the first place. *torn, pained smile* Haha, could you imagine?
â
2. You should see Asmoâs bathroom.
Simeon: *nods* Right, he has a really fancy one.Â
â
Simeon: *brows furrow with sympathetic worry* Are the brothers still at their remedial classes? If theyâre not back by now, theyâre probably getting ready to spend the night at RAD.Â
ââââ Route 1 ââââ
Simeon: *smiles gently* Itâs getting pretty late, so we should get to bed.Â
Can we sleep together?
Simeon: Of course. Why would I refuse?Â
*the lights in MCâs bedroom dim, the room now bathed only in soft moonlight*
*soft fwumph*
Simeon: *smiles sheepishly* Hehe, the sheets are already warm from your body heat.
Simeon: *begins to squirm around to get comfortable*
*swish*
Simeon: *eyes widen* Ah, sorry. My hand brushed you.
A) You startled me...
Simeon: *shakes head with an apologetic hum* It wasnât on purpose. *hiding disappointment* I might move around in my sleep, so Iâll give you some space.Â
ââ
B)Â I like it when you touch me.
Simeon: *relaxes with a soft, affectionate smile* Would you rather hold my hand or sleep on my arm?
B-1) Hold hands.
Simeon: *gentle, relaxed smile* Wrap your fingers around mine so we donât slip apart. I guess I should apologize in advance. I might wrap my other arm around you in my sleep. *laughs softly under his breath, smiling teasingly* But you wouldnât mind that, would you?
B-2) Arm pillow.
Simeon: *nods in gentle assent, eyes soft* Here you go.Â
*fwuff*
Simeon: *dips head with a soft, happy laugh* Hehe, I can smell your shampoo. *smiles shyly, self-conscious* Weâll share the same perfume tonight.Â
ââ
Simeon: *nods gently, soft and kind* Good night.
ââââ Route 2 ââââ
Simeon: Itâs getting pretty late, so we should get to bed.Â
2. Iâll sleep on the sofa.
Simeon:Â *shakes head in sad protest* Come on, I canât make you do that. *smiles reassingly* You sleep in your own bed, okay? Iâll sleep on the sofa.
*fade to black*
Simeon: Hey, are you asleep yet?
2. A) I canât sleep...Â
Simeon: Me neither...Â
*short time skip*
*fade back into MCâs room, lights on*
*bweep!*
Simeon: Huh? *frowns with a nod* Like this?
*bonk!*
Simeon: *startled jump* NkâŠ!Â
*bad video game noise*
Simeon: *shoulders slump with his groan* Ah, I lost again... *smiles* Still, this game is a lot of fun. I can see why you got so into it when you borrowed it from Leviathan. *smile broadens cheerfully* Weâll probably end up falling asleep with the controllers in our hands.
ââ
*fade to black*
Simeon: Hey, are you asleep yet?
2. B) ...
*fade to MCâs room with the lights off*
Simeon: *smiles fondly* Fast asleep, huh? *yawns*... Iâm starting to feel drowsy myself. *softly* Good night...
ââââââââ
Belphie:Â This is all Mammon's fault.
ââââââââ
The next morning...
Simeon: Rise and shine, Chise.Â
*opens eyes to MCâs bedroom*
Simeon: *smiling cheerfully* Good morning.
Is it morning already?
Simeon: *so sweetly* If you wake up now, you can take your time eating breakfast. I already made it, after all.Â
Simeon: *giggles in amusement* Glad to hear it. Come on, breakfast is waiting.Â
2. B)Â Five more minutes...
Simeon: *expression softens* Then Iâll just have to tease you until you wake up. What should I do next?Â
2. B-1) Another kiss, please.
Simeon: *laughs softly, eyes intimate* Youâre cuter than usual when youâve just woken up...
*soft kiss*
Simeon: *smiles* One for your eyes.
*another soft kiss*Â
Simeon: *peeks out from under fringe with his loving smile* And one for your nose.
*and another soft kiss*...
2. B-2) Get in here.
Simeon: *nods happily* If you insist. *soft, loving tease* Iâll hug you with everything Iâve got.
*fwuff*
Simeon: âŠ
Simeon: Oh myâŠÂ
(Angel boner)
Simeon:Â Lying next to you like this, feeling your warmth and the beating of your heart...Â
Simeon: *looks aside with a sigh, shaking head regretfully* No... This is no good. *blush rises to his cheeks, avoiding eye contact to hold back his longing* I wonât be able to control myself at this rate.Â
(More angel boner)
â
Simeon:Â By the way, it looks like none of the brothers ended up coming home last night. *grimaces with a hum of concern* They havenât read any of my messages either. Something must have happened at RAD.Â
Simeon: As much as Iâd love to keep enjoying the morning together...I canât help but be a little worried. We should go check on them after weâve had breakfast.
*time skip*
*fade to RAD classroom*
Simeon: *raises hand in cheerful greeting* Good moâ
Lucifer: *arms crossed, shouting, lecturing his head off* You insufferable morons! Itâs been a full day already! How have you not finished this yet?!
Mammon: *pissed glare, shaking head in protest* We ainât gettinâ anywhere because ya yelled at us all through the frigginâ night!
Lucifer: *narrows eyes dangerously, shrouding in dark smoke* And whose fault is that?! *eyes murderously flat* Or was it my fault that the moment I stepped out to speak with Lord Diavolo, you all decided to throw a party?
Satan: *shakes head reasonably* We werenât fooling around, Lucifer. We were patrolling the grounds to ensure there werenât any misdeeds being carried out inside RAD.
Asmo: *nods enthusiastically with his bubbly smile* Yeah! What he said! *looks aside with a wince* ...But then Beel got into the cafeteria...
Beel: *clutches stomach sadly* I was so hungry I couldnât control myself...Â
Mammon: *grins way too happily for someone about to be smoked out of existence* And, as responsible older brothers, we couldnât let him shoulder that guilt alone, we all helped ourselves to some food and drink.
Belphie: *slumps with a sigh, pouting* I was asleep the whole time. Didnât see a thing.
Levi: *glowers in protest* I was watching late night anime in the AV room! I had nothing to do with it!
Lucifer: *furious scowling* Do ANY of those activities sound like classwork to you?!
Simeon: *giggles in amusement* Well, looks like we were worried over nothing. It was business as usual.
Beel: *raises brows in surprise* Oh, itâs Simeon and Chise.
Levi: *sits up with a horrified gasp* Hold on, why are you two coming to school together?!
Itâs a secret âĄ
Satan: *shakes head with a scowl* Thatâs something you only say when youâve got something to hide.Â
Mammon: *hands on hips, glaring daggers* Simeon, you bastard! I knew youâd do somethinâ to Chise when I wasnât around!
Asmo: *gasps in cheerful, scandalized delight, happy heart sparkles* Oh my gosh, stop! Did you guys do something dirty?!
Levi: *glowers darkly* This is the PDA police! Put your hands in the air, Simeon!
Simeon: *loses it with laughter* Hahahaha!
Mammon:Â Quit laughinâ!
â
2. Relax, guys.
Simeon: *shakes head with a sugar-sweet smile* Right. Nothing happened.
Belphie: *glares in suspicion* Sure, thatâs what they all say.
Simeon: *giggles, controlling his pleasant expression* We just enjoyed our time together, thatâs all.
Beel: *wide-eyed gasp of HORRFIED realization* Did you guys eat dinner together?!
Asmo: *smiles sweetly* You think thatâs all they did?
Mammon: *glares, nodding with panic* It was just dinner! Right?! If youâre lyinâ, heaven better help ya, âcause ya ainât gettinâ any mercy from me!
Levi: *gasps* Oh! Thatâs Mr. Goldâs catchphrase from the period drama Eternal Mountain! *erupts into a ton of happy sparkling, smiling adorably*Â Youâve seen that?!
â
Lucifer: *thunderous shouting* SILENCE! How long do you idiots intend to keep babbling?!
Simeon: *laughs, shaking head ruefully* At this rate, they might be in here for another day... *steps closer with a flirtatious smile* Hey, Chise. We should do a sleepover again sometime.

Text chat:Â The Next Chance (from Simeon)
ââââââââ
Unearned.
ââââââââ
Text chat:Â What They Really Got Up To (from Brothers No More)
Simeon: *looks around in concern, humming uncertainly* Itâs rather crowded today. *frowns, serious* Are you sure about this, Chise? I mean, on your day off... *self-conscious doubt* Donât you have other plans?
Not really.
Simeon: *nods with a smile* I see. Well, Iâm glad youâre free.Â
â
2. I wanted to spend time with you, Simeon.
Simeon: *breaks out into a delighted laugh, eyes crinkling* You know how to put a smile on my face. I also wanted to spend time with you, Chise.Â
â
Simeon: *sighs apologetically, looking down in regret* But Iâm sorry. We donât get to go on dates very often, yet weâre wasting it running an errand for Michael...
This is a date?
Simeon: *flinches with a noise of surprise* I thought it was. *soft, doubtful hurt* Was I mistaken?
A)Â Iâd love for it to be a date.
Simeon: *bursts into relieved laughter, eyes crinkling* What a relief. Iâd love for that too, Chise.
â â â â
Rejection:Â
B)Â I need to think about it.
Simeon: *smiles reassuringly* Itâs fine. Donât worry about it. Regardless of whether itâs a date or not... Iâm just happy to spend some time with you.
â â â â
2. Itâs fine. Donât worry about it.
Simeon:Â Well, letâs finish up this errand as soon as possible. *giggles, eyes soft* That way, weâll have more free time to spend together.Â
â
Simeon:Â Is there anything in particular youâd like to do or to eat?Â
Not specifically.
Simeon: *nods* All right. Iâll think of something.Â
â
2. You decide, Simeon.
Simeon: *raises brows with a noise of surprise* You want me to take the reins? *touches back of neck with a little dip of his head, smiling* All right, Iâll do my best to make this a special day.
â
Simeon: *winces* Itâs getting even more crowded⊠*meets eyes with a smile* Perhaps we should hold hands so that we donât get separated.
Hold his hand.
Simeon: *touches back of neck, eyes soft* Now⊠*smile turned sheepish and shy* Hold on tight. Donât let go, okay?
â â â â
Rejection:Â
2. Iâm not a kid.
Simeon: *nods grimly in agreement* That you arenât. All right, just stick to me then.
â â â âÂ
*time skip*
Simeon: *points with an excited gasp* Oh, look at that, Chise! What is that? *eyes widen* Such an unusual-looking fruit⊠It says theyâre called durians! *expression turns thoughtful* It looks sort of tropical, doesnât it? Do you suppose we could make sweets out of them?
I wouldnât recommend that.
Simeon: Whyâs that? *winces, immediately wrinkling nose* Oh, my⊠This smell⊠*shakes head with a grimace* I see what you mean. It might not make a very enticing sweet...
â
2. You could try it.
Simeon: *wrinkles nose with a wince* But the smell is overpowering⊠I wonder how they taste. *shakes head with a grimace* Weâll have to give it a try next time.
â
Simeon: *eyes widen* Oh, look! That glasswork over there is lovely. *smiles, giggling with excitement* Come on, letâs go, Chise.
ââââââââ
Angeluke:Â Thanks for the shopping!
ââââââââ
Simeon: *laughs merrily, cheerfully upbeat* Hehe, there were so many charming pieces that we spent ages browsing. Oh, but weâre finally here. This is the bakery I was talking about.Â
*fade to the inside of a bakery*
Simeon: *gasps in eager delight* Theyâve got so many different kinds of cakes. Everything looks delicious... However, Michael asked me to get him some baked sweets.Â
Simeon: *hums uncertainly, brows drawing together in a furrow* Now, which to choose...? Oh, they have some free samples. These financier cakes look delicious. Would you like to try one? *giggles sheepishly, dipping head with shy boldness* Here, open wide.
Aaah...
Simeon: *smiles kindly* How is it? Any good? Iâll try one too... *smile broadens, happy sparkles* Mmm... This is excellent!Â
â
2. No thanks.
Simeon: *confused* Really? I think Iâll have one. *munch* *breaks out into a smile* Mmm! This is excellent!Â
â
Simeon: *frowns thoughtfully* Iâm curious about the other flavours as well. Maybe Iâll try a few more...Â
*timeskip*
Simeon: *smiles sweetly, inclining head* I think Iâll go with this one. All right. Thatâs decided. Iâm sure Michael will be pleased. *looks away with a low hum, blushing* But I canât get my mind off those cakes⊠*rubs the back of his neck, shifting his weight with earnest hope in his eyes, cheeks pink* Since weâre here, why donât we get one? We can eat it together.Â
Letâs get some for the others too.
Simeon: *smiles with a soft sigh* Youâre so kind, Chise. Iâm going to get jealous... *laughs lightly* But youâre right. We should buy enough for everyone. Iâm sure Luke will appreciate it.Â
â
2. Great idea!
Simeon: *perks up with a relieved giggle, eyes crinkling* Hehe. Weâll have to take care that the others donât see us, or theyâll want some too.Â
â
*fade to human world sidewalk, late afternoon*
Simeon: *smiling cheerfully, upbeat* Right! The errand is done! Youâll have my undivided attention for the rest of the day. Where would you like to go...Â
*pattering of raindrops* *a light, steady rain appears*
Simeon: *eyes widen in disbelief* Hm? Is this...rain?Â
*torrential downpour begins*
Simeon: *shocked* Youâve got to be kidding...? Ugh. Itâs coming down in buckets! *eyes soften with worry, unsmiling insistence* Chise, take my coat.
But youâll get wet!
Simeon: *smiles fondly, shaking head with reassurance* Thatâs fine. I donât want you to catch a cold. *expression grows more serious, insistent concern* Please, just take it. For me, okay?
â
2. Thank you.
Simeon: *eyes crinkle gratefully* Youâre welcome. Cover yourself up so you donât get wet.Â
â
Simeon: *smiles reassuringly* Come on, weâll have to make a break for the house.Â
*sound of running footsteps*
*fade to Serenity Manor common room*
Simeon: *huff*...*huff*⊠*hums in sad disappointment* It sure is raining hard. *eyes widen* The sky is pitch black outside. *smiles with relief* Iâm glad we made it back before you got drenched.Â
Simeon: *looks around the room with a frown* That being said...whyâs it so quiet around here? Where is everyone? Oh... Thereâs a note.
*unfolds paper*
Simeon: âŠ*smiles, nods* It looks like everyone is out. So that means...weâve got the whole place to ourselves.Â
ââââââââ
Mammoney:Â Too much relaxin'.
ââââââââ
*soft music plays: On a Quiet Day*
Simeon: *sighs heavily, grimacing* Iâm soaked... *smiles gently, eyes soft with affection* But Iâm glad that you didnât get too wet. Um, could I possibly use your shower?Â
*fade to HOL bathroom*
Simeon: *nods* Thank you. I should be able to manage from here. *smiles bashfully* So, why are you still in the bathroom with me? Could it be that youâd like to take a shower together?
Shall we?
Simeon: *gasps, jumping with a wide-eyed start* P-Please donât take me seriously. I was just joking, you know? *smiles gently* I know youâre here to help me hang up my wet clothes. *breaks into amused laughter* Hehe. I tried teasing you, but you turned the tables on me.
(Lying is a sin, Simeon. Didn't you know?)
â â â â
Rejection option:Â
2. No way.
Simeon: *giggles, eyes crinkling* Hehe. Iâm just pulling your leg. I know youâre here to help me hang up my wet clothes. *rubs back of his neck with a dip of his head, eyes kind* I was only teasing you a little.
â â â â
Simeon:Â Right. Iâm going to take that shower now.Â
*fabric falling into a heap on the floor*
*shower starts*
Simeon (woefully speaking off-screen đ):Â Ahh... That feels wonderful. Thereâs nothing like a hot shower.Â
Simeon: ...Itâs so quiet, though. The silence almost feels lonely.Â
Simeon: Of course, Iâm no stranger to silence. The Celestial Realm is always quiet and peaceful. But since coming to the Devildom, Iâve grown to enjoy the constant hustle and bustle... Now it feels strange if things are too quiet.
I know what you mean.Â
Simeon: Hehe, right? It feels lonely when everyone isnât around... I suppose that means weâve grown accustomed to living in the Devildom.
â
2. I like the silence.
Simeon: I see. I suppose every day is rowdy at your place. It must be nice to get an occasional break from that.Â
â
*soft music plays: Bonds*
Simeon:Â Umm... Chise...? Sorry to trouble you, but could I borrow a change of clothes?
I donât have anything.
Simeon:Â Y-You donât...? But then, how am I going to get out of the shower? Even a sheet would do...Â
*fwump*
Simeon:Â Thank you. Iâm glad you found something.
â
2. Would a sheet do the trick?
Simeon:Â Sure, that will do!Â
â
*footsteps*
Simeon: I must say, this is rather embarrassing...Â
Motion artwork animation begins: Simeon, wrapped in nothing but a sheet, is captured mid-fall as he slips and falls forward from exiting the shower. His expression is one of wide-eyed shock.
Simeon: âŠGah!Â
Simeon: Th-That was close...! The sheet almost slipped off⊠*laughs loudly in embarrassment* Iâll have to be careful.
(Oh noooooo. Yes, you'd better be careful; it'd be a shame if you tripped again. ...*sticks foot out*)
Simeon: Anyway, Iâll stay in the common room. Why donât you take a shower as well, Chise? It was rather chilly today. Iâll light the fireplace and wait for you here. Take your time. See you later.
Motion animation ends.
ââââââââ
ButlerBarb:Â Hot chocolate on a cold day.
ââââââââ
*back in Serenity Manor common room*
*soft music continues to play: Bonds*
Simeon: *sighs contentedly* Oh, Chise. Youâre back. *eyes crease with his welcoming smile* Did the shower warm you up? Here, I made some hot chocolate. This should warm you up even more.Â
Motion artwork animation begins: Simeon, now dressed đ, has his knees drawn to his chest while he nurses a mug of steaming cocoa with a smile. He has a cozy blanket wrapped over his shoulders and head, basked in the warm glow of the fireplace*
Simeon: The fire flickering in the hearth is cozy. I imagine the shower helped, but weâve got to warm you up to the core.Â
Drink the hot chocolate to warm up.
Simeon: *noise of approval* Thatâs it... Feel the warmth spreading through your body with each sip. The snapping and crackling sounds coming from the fireplace are soothing, arenât they?
Simeon: *looks over with a smile, before blowing over the steam of his own mug of hot chocolate* A hot drink and you at my side⊠*takes a sip, before laughing in delight* I wish this moment would last forever.Â
â
2. Use magic to warm up.
Simeon: *laughs in delight* Youâre going to use magic? Thatâs exciting. I heard that your skills have improved lately. Solomon mentioned that itâs a pleasure to teach you. Could you warm me up a little?
Animation: A wand waves over the screen with magic sparkly noises. Simeonâs eyes follow its movements before before touching him at its musical crescendo, causing him to jump with a smile*
Simeon: *gasps in surprised delight* Aaah... What a curious feeling... It felt as if my whole body warmed up from the inside out. That was very relaxing. Thank you, Chise!
â
Simeon: *soft hum* Weâll need to warm you up a little more, though. Why donât you come over here and share my blanket?Â
Motion animation ends.
Get under the blanket.
*fwump!*
Simeon: *giggles fondly* Hehe. Now Iâve got you.Â
Simeon:Â Oh my, your hands and feet are like blocks of ice. *smiles sympathetically* Weâll have to fix that.Â
â â â â
Rejection option:
2. Refuse.
Simeon: *smiles awkwardly, self-conscious* Thatâs too bad... But Iâm still worried about you. Make sure you soak up some heat from the fire, okay?Â
â â â â
Simeon: *touches back of neck with a smile, shyly avoiding eye contact* Itâs so nice spending time with you like this... Say, since weâre alone, why donât we talk about something different from usual?
All right.Â
Simeon: *nods* After all, we donât get many opportunities to chat like this.Â
â
2. For example?
Simeon: *smiles awkwardly, rubbing back of neck* Well, anything is fine...
â
Simeon: *relaxes, eyes soft* Could I ask you a question?Â
Go for it!
Simeon: *hums thoughtfully* Letâs see... What did you think of me when we first met? I mean, your first impression.Â
A) You seemed kind.
Simeon: *smiles with delight* Really? Iâm glad to hear that. *smile fades, meeting eyes directly with a reserved expression, almost sad* And do you still think of me as a kind presence? *gives a small smile, eyes soft* I hope I can stay that way.
(He doesn't wait for an answer)
B) You were hard to read.
Simeon: *brows furrows sadly* Really...? Hard to read, you say? *smiles softly* I suppose youâre not the first person to tell me that. *bursts out into too-loud laughter, smiling bashfully* Iâm not thinking anything particularly deep, you know? *looks down, expression falling into what looks like a deeper sadness* But nobody seems to believe me when I say that.
C) I thought you were cool.
Simeon: *eyes widen in surprise* Cool...? *smiles awkwardly, self-conscious* Thatâs a little embarrassing, but Iâm glad I came across that way.Â
â
2. Iâd like to ask you a question instead.
Simeon: *eyes crinkle with delight* Of course! Go ahead. What would you like to ask?
2. A) What do you think of me?
Simeon: *visibly startles* YouâŠ? *looks aside with a blush, brow furrowing* How very direct⊠*laughs self-consciously, touching the back of his neck* Surely you know the answer to that already? Hehe. Itâs fine. Iâd be happy to answer your question.
Simeon: *meets gaze with a direct, earnest look, blushing in sincerity* I love you, Chise. Very much. I want to be close to you...and feel you. *drops gaze again, looking down, somber reservation* I hope that you feel the same way about me...
Simeon: *breaks out into laughter, rubbing the back of his neck self-consciously* Hehe... I can tell from your expression. *expression softens, holding gaze with loving eye contact* Youâre welcome to come even closer.Â
2. B) Whatâs your type?
Simeon: *looks down with an uncertain hum, self-conscious* My type...? Hmm... No oneâs ever asked me that before. *raises eyes to meet gaze, a pensive expression on his face* I suppose my type is... *nods, smiling softly* Somebody like you. *brows draw together with his shy smile* Yes, to be perfectly honest, youâre my type, Chise.
â
Simeon: Itâs so nice to be able to spend some quiet time with you... Itâs been a very fulfilling day. Itâs just a pity about the rain...Â
Simeon: *shakes head with a thoughtful frown* No, perhaps itâs the opposite. Itâs thanks to the rain that we can curl up in front of the fire like this. *smiles sheepishly* I should be more grateful to the weather. I wonder what the time is. *expression softens, meeting gaze directly with a gentle look* If my clothes are dry, I should probably get going...Â
Stay with me for a little longer.
Simeon: *laughs with a sheepish smile* I suppose I canât turn you down if you ask me so nicely. *earnestly meets eyes with a decisive nod, beginning to blush* All right. I can stay a little longer. Come to think of it, we havenât eaten our cake yet...
â
2. Oh no! Your clothes arenât dry yet!
Simeon: *smiles in delight, shifting happily* Hehe. Thereâs no need to get worked up. Besides, thatâs not true, is it? I can see it on your face. *smile turns bashful* Still, itâs cute of you to say that...
Simeon: ...*falls quiet as he meets gaze directly, holding it with an earnest look, a blush rising to his cheeks*...
â
*just as a romantic moment begins, the door SLAMS open, because Mammon canât enter rooms normally*
Mammon:Â Daaah! Itâs raininâ cats and dogs out there! Iâm soaked!Â
Belphie: *sighs heavily, put-out* We should have brought an umbrella...Â
Levi: Hm? What theâŠ..? *eyes widen in SHOCK* Guh!
Mammon:Â Whatâs wrong, Levi? You sound like... *recoils with a horrified gasp* Ack!Â
Belphie: You too, Mammonâ? *straightens shoulders with eyes wide with shock* What... No way...Â
Simeon: *touches back of neck with a sweet smile, inclining head in greeting* Hello, everyone. Welcome home.Â
*clown music ensues*
Levi: *turns bright red, flustering in horror* Wh-Wh-Whaaaat are you two doing in front of the fireplace?!Â
Belphie: *still staring in shock* No... It canât be...! Simeon...and Chise...?!
Mammon: *hands on hips, thunderous outrage* Th-The heckâs going on here?! Spit it out!
Simeon: Hehe, I think you may have misunderstood the situation⊠*giggles mischievously, eyes crinkling with amusement* Although, itâs nice to cause a stir on occasion.
End.

Text chat (OG-exclusive):Â Appearances Can Be Deceiving (from Purgatory Hall(3))
Simeon: *heaves a deep, heavy sigh, hunched unhappily*...
Um, whatâs with the zoned-out stare?
Simeon: *shakes head with a hum of sad uncertainty* Sorry, Iâm just...absolutely exhausted. *looks down with a pensive sigh*...Â
â
2. Is everything okay? You look really worn out.
Simeon: *shakes head with a pained smile, humming uncertainly* Thank you for your concern. Iâm just going through a bit of a rough patch...Â
â
Simeon: *frowns, serious* I enjoy crafting prose in my spare time, but Iâve come up against the most persistent case of writerâs block that Iâve ever experienced. *looks aside sadly* I canât seem to come up with a single new idea. Iâve become completely entrenched in a creative slump⊠*hums unhappily, looking down* And Iâm at a loss as to what I should do to pull myself out of it.
Try something new!
Simeon: *raises brows* True, deviating from the norm might do the trick. *nods, smiling with encouragement* When youâre working on anything creative, your experiences dictate a lot of your choices. *musing* If you donât try anything new, then youâll have nothing new to write about... *eyes crinkle with inspiration* Thank you, thatâs an excellent idea!
â
2. Just take it easy!
Simeon: *meets eyes again, corners of mouth downturned* ...I tried that. I did nothing for an entire day, but no good came of it. *tilts head back, closing eyes in unhappy resignation* Perhaps it might be best to try another tactic. *opens eyes, expressed dulled with discouragement* Something...fresh and new. Some kind of activity I wouldnât usually do, perhaps?
â
Simeon: *touches back of neck with a pained smile, laughing softly* Say, Chise? *expression softens, meeting eyes* Would you mind joining me? I worry that if I go about this alone, Iâll end up dragging my heels on it.
ââââââââ
Stn:Â That place looks interesting.
ââââââââ
Simeon: *closes eyes with a furrowed brow, humming in thought* Hm, thinking of things that I wouldnât normally do... Ah, video games come to mind. *opens eyes with a gentle smile* I happen to have one that Leviathan rather generously lent me, as well. That or...we could watch a movie, perhaps?
Letâs play a video game.
Simeon: *smiles, bouncing cheerfully* All right, that sounds promising. Iâm not all that skilled with technical devices, but some hands-on experience might help with that.Â
Simeon: *expression patient and kind* Letâs see... Er, which button turns this on? This one? *gasps, wide-eyed alarm* ...Ah, no. That doesnât seem to be it. *smiles again, nice and serene* Then, this one? ...Hm? *smile falls into a pout, shaking head* This one seems promising. ...Aha! There it goes!
Simeon: *growing a little nervous* So...what next? Do...I push this one? Hm? *confused* Was that not right?Â
Simeon: *eyes widen in perplexed confusion* Oh! And now itâs displaying some kind of message about a...system update? *wilts uncertainly, pouting helplessly* Wh-What should I do...?
A)Â ...Yeah, letâs maybe not play video games.
Simeon: *wilts with a tight sigh of frustration, looking down with a pout* Mm, I may have set the bar for new experiences a little too high with this one.
Simeon: *pained, apologetic smile* Ah, I see what youâve done. That update is going to take a considerable amount of time, though. Well, thatâs a shame.
ââ
2. Letâs watch a movie.
Simeon: *eyes crinkle with delight* All right, then. Do you have any suggestions?Â
2. A)Â Definitely a rom-com.
Simeon: *noise of agreement, eyes keen* Oh, that sounds lovely. *giggles with a sheepish smile, ducking head low out of embarrassment* Thereâs something rather special about watching a movie like that, together... Iâd be happy with whichever one youâd care to recommend.Â
2. B) Something sci-fi.
Simeon: *noise of agreement* Ah, thatâs a good choice. I wouldnât usually watch that genre. Still, most of those movies seem to be part of a series nowadays. *frowns thoughtfully* We wonât be missing any context, will we? *smiles* Either way, Iâm sure itâll be worth the watch.
â
*time skip*
Simeon: *shakes head with a low hum, expression reserved* Hmm... That was amusing, but perhaps not the inspiration that Iâve been searching for. *corners of mouth turn down unhappily* I suppose itâs one thing to recognize that youâve hit a creative wall, but another thing entirely to get around it.
ââ
*time skip*
Simeon: *expression sad and lost* What to do, what to do...Â
Solomon: *peeks in* ...Hm? *rests chin on knuckles with a fond smile* What are you two up to?Â
Simeon: *perks up with a wave of greeting* Oh, Solomon! Excellent timing. *pained smile* Would you mind weighing in on something?Â
*explanation time skip*
Simeon: *smiling kindly* ...Which sums up the current situation.
Solomon: *touching chin thoughtfully* Right, itâs never fun when that issue crops up. *smiles with a reassuring nod* Iâve had that happen with my research, from time to time.
Simeon:Â What do you do when it does?Â
Solomon: *hums with a thoughtful frown* Changing my surroundings usually does the trick, so I go wander off somewhere.Â
Simeon: *perks up with a broad smile* Hm, I see. I havenât tried that yet.
Solomon: *smiles back in delight, eyes crinkling* Want me to lend a hand? I could have you somewhere drastically different in a snap.Â
Simeon: *eyes widen with a noise of surprise* You wouldnât mind?
Solomon: *laughs in amused dismissal, eyes soft* As long as traveling by magicâs fine by you. I heard thereâs a lake filled with spirits who are big fans of stories. So! Iâll drop us all right at the waterâs edge.Â
ââââââââ
AsmoBaby:Â Make my story, too.
ââââââââ
*serene lake within forest*
Solomon: *nods cheerfully* There you go, one spirit-infested lake.
Simeon: *smiles with a gasp of delight* Oh, my... Isnât this a fanciful area?
Solomon: *eyes crinkle cheerfully* These guys love stories. If they see someone who strikes their fancy, theyâll take it upon themselves to recite a tale from that personâs...dark past, shall we say.
Thatâs as creepy as it sounds, right?
Solomon: *laughs sweetly, eyes crinkling merrily*Â Haha! Nah, theyâre a good bunch. Just a group of kind-hearted souls who happen to like harmless gossip.Â
â
2. Thatâs so cool!
Simeon: *nods with an eager noise of agreement* It really makes you wonder how they go about peering into your personal history. Fascinating, isnât it?
â
Solomon: *eyes widen with a gasp* Hey, look. Oneâs coming this way. *relaxed smile* I think itâs taken an interest in me, too.
*flash of white, twinkling noise*
â
Spirit's dialogue:
Deep in a dimly-lit laboratory, a certain sorcerer toiled away at his beloved researchâmagic born of pure chaos. One day, this sorcerer was particularly eager to startle a friend of his with a new spell he was in the midst of crafting.
But, that lack of focus would be his undoing. One careless move sent the half-finished potion splashing down his leg. And lo, that foolish sorcerer found himself shrinking in stature, assuming the form of a mouse...Â
Fervently praying that his good friend wouldnât decide to suddenly drop in for a visit with their pet cat in tow.
â
*flash of white, twinkling noise*
I wish I couldâve seen you as a mouse.
Solomon: *bursts out laughing, grinning merrily* Haha! I doubt you would have recognized me, though. I still thank my lucky stars that no one else was around for that one.
â
2. Even you screw up sometimes, huh?
Solomon: *shakes head in surprise* I hate to disappoint you, but my failures far outnumber my successes. *smiles cheerfully* Well, failure is what fuels most humansâ growth.
â
Solomon: *eyes crease happily* Anyways, thatâs more or less the kind of experience youâll get here. Neat, isnât it?
Simeon:Â Indeed! I could see this place being troublesome for someone with a lot to hide. *laughs lightly with a grimacing smile* ...Like Mammon, for instance.
Simeon:Â ...Hm? *eyes widen nervously* Has this spirit decided that I might be an interesting subject?
*flash of white, twinkling noise*
â
Spirit's dialogue:
There once was an angel with a horrible knack for machinery. Faced with a washing machine with a plethora of buttons, he was drowning in potential optionsânone of which made any sense.Â
Steeling himself, he opted to select the one affiliated with his favourite colour...
Washing the entire residence in the process.
â
*flash of white, twinkling noise*
Yeeeeah, that was a bit of a disaster.
Simeon: *pouts unhappily, puppy-eyes* My apologies. I didnât mean to cause so much trouble. *shakes head with a rueful smile* Who would have believed that the whole building would fill up with bubbles?
â
2. Okay, that was actually a lot of fun.
Simeon: *dips head with a pained smile of embarrassment* You think so? Iâm glad, but...you do have to admit that cleaning it up was a real chore. *holding back laughter* Even Lucifer was outraged that Iâd managed to create such a massive disaster through such a seemingly simple task.
â
Simeon: *nods with a smile, relaxing* These spirits really are quite something. That was a remarkably refreshing experience. Iâm feeling much better now. *giggles happily* Thank you, Solomon.
Solomon: *smiles broadly with a noise of content* Happy to be of service. Well, I think Iâll go take a stroll over that way. Just holler when youâd like to head back, okay?
Simeon: *smiles kindly* All right.
*Solomon walks off*
Simeon: âŠ*giggles, eyes soft* Iâm so grateful that Solomon offered to bring us here. *eyes crease cheerfully* The trip really has lifted my, er, spirits. Changing your surroundings can make all the difference, canât it?Â
Simeon: *eyes widen* My goodness! Chise, look! *smiles excitedly* This one isnât the same colour as the rest. I wonder what story it has for you?
*twinkling noise*
*fade to white*
ââââââââ
Angeluke:Â Simeon sure is lively.
ââââââââ
*sepia-toned flashback of the past*
*Celestial Realm hallway*
Simeon: *shakes head with a grimacing hum* ...Perhaps I shouldnât have stacked all these books on top of each other, even if I can carry them. *sighs wearily* I canât see a thing in front of me...Â
*Thump! Bump! Tumble, tumble, tumble...*
Simeon: *wide-eyed horror* Oh, dear...! I-Iâm so sorry!
Raphael: *sighs with exasperation* What are you doing, Simeon?
Simeon: *smiles softly* Raphael...! *smile turned sheepish* My apologies, I was trying to transport all these books at once, but you can see how well thatâs going.
Raphael: *noise of inquiry* And theyâre all...novels? Why do you have so many?
Simeon:Â A little while back, Leviathan told me that I ought to take a stab at crafting something of my own, since I have such an active imagination.Â
Simeon: *shifts weight with a self-conscious smile* It was a fair suggestion, but...Iâm no good at fine art or musical composition. Still, I thought I might try my hand at creative writing. *looks down at the mess with a sad pout* Hence the abundance of research materials.
Simeon:Â *laughs lightly, expression soft and relaxed* Iâm not a seraphim anymore, so Iâve got time to spare. Why not make the most of it?
Raphael: *touches forehead with a sigh of impatience* Thatâs nothing to laugh about. I swear, sometimes you can be so...Â
Simeon: *smile turns teasing* Hm? Are you worried about me?
Raphael: *somber, nodding with a low, unhappy hum* Of course. You might be smiling as though you havenât a care in the world but...I know better.
Simeon: *laughs awkwardly* ...I see. Well, you have always been perceptive like that. *expression grows serious, thoughtful* ...I was thinking of writing a short poem, to start. I suspect it would be too frustrating to attempt to pen, say, a sprawling narrative right from the get-go.
Raphael: *nod* That sounds sensible. Youâll have to read it to me, once itâs finished.Â
Simeon: *taken aback, nervous horror* Er, personally?
Raphael: *nods seriously* I once happened to hear you singing, a long time ago. It was the first time I ever had, actually. *pensive* But, I remember it like it was yesterday.
Simeon:Â *chuckles, rubbing back of neck self-consciously* Oh, please. As if the most celebrated vocalist in all the Celestial Realm would be moved by such a mundane performance.
Raphael: *small smile* I couldnât possibly forget how beautiful your voice was, nor how lovely you looked as you were singing. *eyes crinkle happily* And everyone else who was watching was just as captivated by you.Â
Simeon: *expression softens* Why, thank you. Youâre too kind.
Raphael: *smiling softly, wistful* ...Iâd like to experience that again, sometime. As a proper member of the audience.
Simeon: *smile fades* âŠ
Raphael: *nods happily with his small smile* Here, your books. Mind your surroundings, and watch your step.
(^the moment where my unrequited love HC was born (more in tags))
*flash of white, twinkling noise*
*return to the present at the lake*
Simeon: *rubbing back of neck in embarrassment* ...I wasnât expecting to have a memory that I had genuinely forgotten recounted. *laughs lightly* Well, thatâs a little embarrassing. Not long after that, I did finish my poemâthough in the end, Luke was the only one who ended up hearing it.
Simeon: *grows somber* Since then, Iâve been steadily writing more complex pieces... *looks down sadly* But, for all that Iâd like to finally start work on a proper novel, I canât seem to settle on anything.Â
Simeon: *pauses for a moment, quietly looking down at the ground with a lost expression*
Simeon: ...*forces a smile* Still, I wonder if there was a reason that spirit chose that particular memory?
To get you to go back to your roots?Â
Simeon: *pensive* ...Ah, true. That is a distinct possibility.Â
Simeon: *smiles* Maybe I should circle back to poetry, for a change. *giggles, eyes crinkling playfully* Say, why donât we compose something short together? In honour of the occasion.
Iâd love to!
Simeon: *delighted* Then, why donât we pick a few wordsâwhatever comes to mindâand string those together into a haiku? I think that would be fun.Â
â
2. I donât know... Iâm not very good at that kind of thing.
Simeon: *shakes head reassuringly* Donât worry, weâll just pick a few words each, and Iâll string them together into a haiku. That should be simple enough, donât you think?Â
â
Simeon:Â Iâll go with...âlake.â
Spirits.
Simeon: *smiles in delight* Oh, yes. The current supernatural element would add a nice touch. Letâs see, then...âpast.â
A) Angel.
Simeon: *laughs in amusement* Hm, another fine choice. ...All right, Iâll try piecing those together.
Simeon:Â
Bright lake, pale spirits.Â
An angelâs forgotten past,
Lights the way forward.
B) Poem.
Simeon: *nods enthusiastically* Ah, good call! So, if we string those together...
Simeon:
Spirits by the lake
Awaken past memories
Birthing new poems.
â
2. Stillness.
Simeon: *nods* Oh, yes. There is something quite compelling about the quietude here. *frowns thoughtfully* Letâs see, then...âshining.â
2. A) Surface.
Simeon: *laughs in delight, eyes crinkling* Ah, I see what youâre getting at. The light reflecting off the surface of the lake really is rather striking, isnât it? Hm, drawing on all of those selections...
Simeon:
A still, silent lake.
The shining surface holds all,
In its soothing spell.
2. B) Moonlight.
Simeon:Â
The lakeâs stillness calls
Shining moonlight down to dance
Upon our figures.
â
Simeon: *bounces happy, eyes crinkling with merriment* Goodness, I think that might have done it. *meets gaze, eyes keen and affectionate* I feel like Iâm brimming with creative energy. Thank you so much for your help, Chise.Â
I didnât do anything, though.
Simeon: *shakes head, smiling with shy gratitude* No, I was quite glad for your company today. Not to mention the fact that you took the time to listen to my woes in the first place. *smiles shyly* A sympathetic ear can make all the difference, at times.
â
2. No worries, that was nothing!
Simeon: *smiles, eyes soft* Still, you deserve a proper thank you for your kind assistance. Iâll arrange for something a little special.
â
Simeon: *eyes crease with sincere joy, relaxed* Iâm already looking forward to reading everyone my novel, once itâs finished. Luke, Solomon, all the brothers over at the House of Lamentation⊠*giggles happily* ...and of course you, Chise.
End.

Text chat:Â Tidying Up (from Simeon)
ââââââââ
Note: This chat is not actually part of the set thatâs unlocked from this Devilgram. Itâs actually from Simeonâs NB Chapter A SSR Devilgram âCoffee Someday,â and is the prequel to the chats in this Devilgram, so Iâm including it here again as a complete set.
Simeon: Hey, Chise. Have you ever been to Satanâs room?
Yeah, I have.
He sure has a lot of books, doesnât he?
Simeon: Have you ever thought about the order in which he arranges his books?
It feels pretty random.
Simeon: I know, right? Iâm glad Iâm not the only one who feels that way.
â
2. It seems like he has no preference.
Simeon: I thought so too.
â
Simeon: Although his personal library impresses me and I ask to see it often, I just canât get over how he arranges his books.
Simeon: Iâve offered to organize them for him a few times, but he always flat-out refuses.
Simeon: I canât take it anymore, though. If I have to clean his room by force, so be it!
ââââââââ
Text chat:Â Curse of Resistance (from Simeon)
ââââââââ
Simeon: I almost got cursed when I tried to secretly rearrange Satanâs books.
Come again?
Are you okay?
Simeon: Donât worry. I put them back as soon as I realized.Â
â
Simeon: I didnât expect the books to ooze a sinister grudge-like substance when I tried to move them, though.
Simeon: All his research on curses and hexes has definitely paid off.
Simeon: Hmmm. I feel like, theme-wise, that book belongs more on the shelf next to it, though.
Simeon: OK! If I ever see another opening Iâll try my luck again!
ââââââââ
Text chat:Â I Refuse to Give Up (from Simeon)
ââââââââ
Simeon: I went to Satanâs room just now and finally managed to rearrange his books in reading order!
Simeon: At first I felt a sharp pain in my fingertips and couldnât move for a while, but Iâm OK now.
You call that being OK?
Thatâs too dangerous.
Simeon: Thank you for worrying about me, Chise.
Simeon: Iâm starting to get the hang of how to avoid Satanâs curses, though, so you neednât worry too much.
Simeon: My next goal is to gather all give books of a pentalogy that are currently scattered across the room in one place!
Simeon: Iâll send you a photo of his books in the correct order once Iâve organized them, so stay tuned!
ââââââââ
Text chat: Liner Notes (to Simeon)
ââââââââ
I found that really moving!
Simeon: đ«Łđ
â
2. That was wonderful!
Simeon: đ¶?
â
Simeon: I take it youâre talking about Lukeâs performance of my poem?
Simeon: Thank you, Chise.
Simeon: Everyone has been getting in touch with me to share their reactions, which I appreciate.
What did Lucifer say?Â
Simeon: Hmm, he didnât have much to say...
Simeon: Oh, though I believe we did make eye contact while Luke was reciting it.
Simeon: And he had the faintest hint of a smile on his face. So Iâm guessing he liked it well enough.
â
2. What did Raphael say?
Simeon: He said he didnât quite know how to feel, listening to something like that in the Devildom.
Simeon: But even so, it was nice.
Simeon: And he was smiling as he said that, so I have a feeling he found it at least somewhat enjoyable.
â
Simeon: I canât tell you how happy I am to hear that you liked it as well.
I have so much more Iâd like to say about it!
Simeon: Iâm honoured that it meant so much to you.
Simeon: Truth be told, I was thinking of you when I wrote a certain part of that poem.
Simeon: Iâd be interested to know whether you can guess which part I mean.
â
2. Iâd love to hear any anecdotes about its creation.
Simeon: Like how I went back and re-wrote it after getting caught up in a fight between Mammon and Satan?
Simeon: Also, I had kind of a hard time sorting through my feelings and putting them to paper. I wouldnât share that with just anyone, but Iâm comfortable telling you.

Luke: *whimpers nervously, wide-eyed* Whatâs with these drinks...? Bufo Egg Milk Tea? *shifts anxiously* Bloody orange juice? Is that like regular orange juice?Â
Simeon: *laughs dotingly* Devildom menus are difficult to decipher, arenât they? I still havenât gotten used to them.Â
You never know what youâre going to get...
Simeon: *grimaces a bit* Exactly, and itâs awkward if you canât find anything that looks edible. *smiles bravely for Luke* We need to learn more about Devildom food and drinks.
Luke: *sighs quietly* YeahâŠ
â
2. Youâll get used to them eventually.
Simeon: *nods, smiling encouragingly* Yes. Until then, weâll just have to study up on the Devildom.Â
â
Simeon: Still, I know this placeâs menu quite well by now. So you can leave it to me. You should give that Bufo Egg Milk Tea a try, Luke. Iâm sure youâll like it. Itâs tea with soft, chewy balls inside. *smiles warmly* Itâs very good.
Luke: *perks up, smiling back* Really? Okay, Iâll give it a shot.Â
Solomon: *smiling pleasantly* Hmm. I think Iâll give the hell coffee a try. *rests chin on knuckles, gazing at Simeon* You mentioned that you come here often?Â
Simeon: *nods genially* Yes. Despite how alien the Devildom can sometimes feel, this place had a strangely nostalgic aroma... *laughs sweetly* It was like I was drawn towards it.Â
Simeon: It turned out that the aroma was human world coffee beans. Thatâs what they use for their original blend.
Simeon: *hums while shifting about, bashfully rubbing back of neck* Letâs see. Iâd like a soothing interior with antique furniture. *nods to himself, expression soft* A bell would ring as you walk in, and thereâd be classical music playing in the background.Â
Youâd do something special with the cups too, right?
Simeon: *smiles wide, nodding with a laugh* Yes! Iâd go with antique cups. *meets eyes with a softer smile* You read my mind, Chise.
Simeon: *smiles cheerfully* Iâm glad to hear that. I thought you might. Letâs go again sometime.
â
2. We should all go again sometime.
Simeon: *gasps* Yes! *touches back of neck, eyes crinkling in delight* We could make it a weekly thing to have coffee there on the way home.Â
â
Simeon: *expression grows a bit somber* ...When I came to the Devildom, I thought that seeing the brothers would bring up old memories and make me lonely. *smiles shyly* Instead, Iâve been discussing the future and having a wonderful time.
Simeon: *expression softens, eyes fond* Every day is fun and fulfilling with you three around. Thank you.
Youâre pretty positive.
Simeon: *raises brows in surprise, shaking head* Well, itâs not like Iâm making an effort to be positive. *smiles* Itâs just that living here is more enjoyable than I was expecting.
Simeon: Iâve had great fun ever since I met you and Solomon...Luke and the brothers are around...and Diavolo and Barbatos are good people as well.Â
Simeon: Honestly, I canât think of a single reason to be negative. *laughs sweetly, touching back of his neck with a shy dip of his head* So, itâs thanks to all of you.
â
2. Surely you feel lonely on occasion?
Simeon: *looks aside, pensive* Yes, on occasion⊠*pauses to take a breath* ...*shakes head with a pained smile* But I think the good times outweigh the bad. Iâm so busy every day that thereâs no time to get lonely. *expression softens, sincere* Thatâs thanks to all of you.
Simeon: *nods confidently* Iâd like you to be my first customer.Â
â
2. I hope that dream comes true.
Simeon: *sheepish, a little pained* Well, Iâd have to get Michaelâs permission first. After all, Iâd need to spend a lot of time as a human...Â
â
Simeon: *grows uncertain, pensive* Still, itâs the first time Iâve ever thought about the future like that. I suppose I assumed that angels werenât allowed to have dreams. *expression falls into a look of doubtful guilt* It might never have occurred to me if I had stayed in the Celestial Realm.
Simeon: *grimaces* Of course, having a dream means having desires. *smiles wistfully, sweetly affectionate* But somehow, that doesnât feel like such a bad thing anymore. I hope I can make my dream come true someday. And when I do, Iâd like all of you beside me.
Simeon: *pained, guilty smile* Just kidding... Wishing for that much would be greedy.Â
End.
...*flips ALL of the Celestial Realm's tables with a roar*

Text chat:Â Tidying Up (from Simeon)
ââââââââ
Simeon: Hey, Chise. Have you ever been to Satanâs room?
Yeah, I have.
He sure has a lot of books, doesnât he?
Simeon: Have you thought about the order in which he arranges his books?
It feels pretty random.
Simeon: I know, right? Iâm glad Iâm not the only one who feels that way.

It seems like he has no preference.
Simeon: I thought so too.

Simeon: Although his person library impresses me and I ask to see it often, I just canât get over how he arranges his books.
Simeon: Iâve offered to organize them for him a few times, but he always flat-out refuses.
Simeon: I canât take it anymore, though. If I have to clean his room by force, so be it!
Satan: *looks around* Chise, are you in here? *smiles* Ah, there you are. Finally, classes are over. Another day down, huh?
Yep, another day down.
â
2. âDownâ how, exactly?
Satan: *exasperated head shake* Itâs just a figure of speechâŠÂ I meant weâre done for the day.
â
3. Iâve been looking forward to this moment all day!
Satan: *chuckles* Wow, sounds like you really couldnât wait for classes to be over, huh? I can tell how happy you are.
â
Satan:Â By the way, are you doing anything after this? Are you supposed to be meeting anyone?
Nope, Iâm not doing anything.
Satan: *nods, smiling* Good.
â
2. Well, um...let me think...
Satan:Â ...From the looks of it, you seem to be drawing a blank. I take it that means youâre free?
â
3. I donât know...maybe? I canât remember.
Satan: *straight-forward, serious* If you donât have plans, all you have to do is say so. Itâs nothing to be embarrassed about.
Satan: Well, this is a good chance for us to do something. So, what do you say? Why not hang out with me for today? I mean, it gets boring if the only places you ever go are school and the House of Lamentation, right? Why donât you and I go for a stroll? Iâm guessing thereâs still a lot about the Devildom that you havenât experienced. This is a good chance for me to show you around.
All right, thanks. Iâd appreciate that.
Satan: *chuckles, eyes crinkling* Great! That settles it, then.
â
2. Hmm, I donât know...
Satan: *nods genially* Iâll take your waffling as a yes. Youâll learn a lot, and thereâs no harm in it. So, what do you say?
â
3. Nope! Not interested!
Satan: *sinisterly pleasant smile, dark threatening aura* I know you donât really mean that now, do you? Iâm going to ask you once more. Make sure you think before you answer this time, because your life depends on it. Are you going to come with me and let me show you around or not?
â
Satan: You know, I donât like heading straight home after class, either. *frowns thoughtfully* So, where to go first⊠*smiles, nods decisively* Mm, yep...okay. I know where Iâm taking you. Letâs go.
--------
AsmoBaby:Â Art? I'm more be...
--------
*art gallery room*
What sort of place is this?
Satan: *upbeat* Itâs an art gallery. I like to come here to get away from stuff and clear my head. Naturally, they have older, historically significant paintings, but they also exhibit pieces created by young, up-and-coming artists. And theyâre always holding interesting events. Itâs a lot of fun. Are you interested in art, Chise?
Yeah, I am.
Satan: *pleased chuckle, eyes crinkling* Ah, is that so? Iâve got a feeling you and I might get along, then.
â
2. Nope.
Satan: *taken aback* OhâŠÂ
â
3. Iâm not a huge art enthusiast, but itâs all right...
Satan: *nods, smiling* In that case, this is your chance to discover whatâs so interesting about it.
â
Satan: *engaged, excitable smile* I really love art. Itâs always showing you new perspectives and it gives you inspiration. I guess you could say it helps you grow as a person. So, I really recommend coming here, exposing yourself to art, and seeing what you can get out of it.
Satan: If youâre nervous about coming here alone, then say the word, and Iâll join you anytime. *shakes head, noise of disappointment* It really is important not to focus only on your outward appearance like Asmo. Because the person you are on the inside has a way of showing through on the outside as well.
Satan: *lights up again* Incidentally, it looks like theyâre having a contemporary art exhibit here today. Check out this work here. The use of color is so novel, so original. Itâs very eye-catching. *looks to the side thoughtfully* Letâs see, whatâs over here in this space?
Satan: *pleased smile* Wow! Now this is very interestingâŠÂ See? Check it out. At first glance, it looks like random stuff scattered all over the place, doesnât it? But actually, each piece of rope and each piece of crumpled paper has been arranged very meticulously. It actually depicts a war between a dragon and an army of angels.
Satan:Â If you want proof, look at it from this side. It looks as if the dragon is overpowering the army. But when you look from this other angle here, it seems like the angels have the upper hand.
Ah, okay.
Satan: *taken aback* âŠÂ
Satan: *sympathetic smile* I take it you donât really get what makes it good, huh? Hmm. Why donât we come back sometime when they have an exhibition thatâs easier to understand? Like a hyperrealism art exhibition or something.
--------
Beelzeburger:Â Snacks, ther...
--------
*Devildom streets*
Satan: So, where should we go next
*meowing noise*
Satan: *raises brows* Hey, what do we have here
Donât kick it!
Satan: *shakes head in exasperation, looking at you like youâre pretty stupid* Iâm not going to kick it...
â
2. Run, kitty! Run...!
Satan: *shakes head, perplexed* Hey, whoa, why are you chasing it away?
â
3. Stay quiet and watch to see what Satan does.
Satan: *raises brows* From the way youâre looking at me, I take it you expect me to do something to torment this cat here?
â
Satan: *smiles* No need to worry. This cat and I are acquainted. See? Look how heâs rubbing up against my legs and purring. Now thereâs a good kitty. So, howâve you been? Whatâs wrong? You want a treat? *chuckles, eyes crinkle* Well, of course I brought one for you! And today Iâve got cookies, your favourite.
Satan: So, what do you think? You can tell how much he loves them by the way heâs chowing down. *sudden blush, looks away in embarrassment* Oh...so youâre wondering why I happened to have treats for him. Well, Iâm always running into him on the street, I started making it a point to bring treats with me whenever I go out.
Satan: *serious* Naturally, I only give him things that would be good for cats to eat. They only contain organic ingredients. Theyâre additive-free, and small enough to be bite-sized for a cat.
You really take good care of him, huh?
Satan: *smiles* Well, compared to my brothers, taking care of this cat here is easy!
â
2. That cat must see you as an angel of sorts.
Satan: *blushes, looks away self-consciously* ...Is that supposed to be a compliment?
â
3. Wow, thatâs really thoughtful of you.
Satan: *blushes, looks away self-consciously* I dunno, you think? Iâve never really thought about it, personally. Itâs just something I do by nature.
â
Satan:Â Also, when I play with him, the emptiness I feel inside of me seems to disappear.
Whatâs his name?
Satan: *immediately looks upwards, blushing* *clears throat* UmmâŠÂ I call him, uh...Sir Cat. *defensive eye contact* But thatâs just a name I made up on the spot, okay? I needed to call him something, so I went with that. *looks aside again* Anyway, why donât we get going?Â
Okay.
Satan: *nods, smiling* All right, Sir Cat, see you later.
Looking back at the cat, Satan gives it a little wave.
*Sir Cat meows in response*
That was really nice of you.
Satan: *blushes, looks away, sulky* Well, itâs only basic manners. I mean, they say you should never forget to show basic respect to others, even to your friends.
â
2. That was really cute how you did that.
Satan: *blushes, embarrassed* Ugh...dammit. That was force of habit...
â
3. Iâll pretend I didnât see that.
*literally pretends I didnât see that*
â
Satan: Oh yeah, I almost forgot. Make sure that Beel doesnât find out that I carry treats for the cat around with me. If he knew about them, heâd try to steal them off of me.
Okay, got it.
Satan: *frowns deeply, shaking head* Also, Mammon canât know, either. He wouldnât try to steal the treats, but if he knew I liked that cat, heâd abduct it and then hold it for ransom. You promise you wonât tell him, right?
I promise.
Satan: *grins* Good. Because if you couldnât promise me that, I wouldâve had no choice but to eliminate you. Well, okay then. I think Iâll show you one of my favorite spots next.
*fade to RAD library*
Satan: *pleased, eager* This is the library. It contains every single book ever published here in the Devildom. I guess Iâd have to say this is the one place I wanted to take you more than anywhere else today. Whenever thereâs something you donât know, youâre free to come ask me.
Satan: Still, I am pretty busy so there are times when I wonât be able to help. At times like that, you should come here to research whatever it is you want to know. Youâll find this place contains the answers to most questions. Expose yourself to art, and learn to appreciate it.
Satan: Spend time with a cat, and let it warm your heart. Go to the library, and learn all sorts of new things. *shakes head, sighing in disappointed exasperation* The worst thing you can possibly do is hang around Mammon and Levi, content with your ignorance and never making an attempt to learn new things.
Thank you for the advice.
Satan: *pleasant nod* Just do me a favor and keep it in mind.
â
2. Huh, okayâŠÂ
Satan:Â Hmm, maybe that sounded a little too much like I was lecturing you...
â
3. Really? Iâve never thought about it before.
Satan: *nods, pleased* Well, in the end, youâre the one who has to find the answers you seek. It doesnât happen automatically.
--------
Mammoney:Â Well, that's cute...
--------
Satan: *upbeat, engaged* When you need to find a book, you can use this computer here to look it up. It will search their giant inventory and choose the books that best fit whatever it is youâre looking for. Itâs not hard to use. I think youâll be able to figure it out on your own.
Satan: Okay then. Since weâre not in a hurry, why donât we take some time to look around on our own? I want to do a little reading myself now. And it would be good if you get an idea of what sort of books they have here. Well then, Iâll be over in that area reading. Have fun.
âŠ
Try using the computer to search for something.
What are you going to search for?
Study reference books.
Manga.
Books on art.
Satan: *raises brows* ...Interesting. So thatâs what youâre hoping to find, eh?
Youâre still here?
Satan: *smiles* Well, I was passing by on my way to the seating area you see over there.
â
2. Yeah, I searched for this on a whim.
Satan:Â So, letâs see what youâve got on the screen there...
â
3. You startled me!
Satan: *winces* Ooh, sorry.
â
Satan: If youâre looking for study reference books, you can find them on the second basement level. I recommend the ones published by Scholarly Devil Press. They do a good job of summarizing the main points of the text in a way thatâs easy to understand. Youâll find them in row D, fourth shelf up. But if you donât enter through the door on the east side, youâll end up having to go around the long way. So be careful.
Satan: All of the manga is over in the new annex, so youâll save time by going there first. Each floor covers a different genre. I recommend A Fallen Angel in His Prime, which you can find on the sixth floor, row F, second shelf up. There are plenty of funny parts, and the story moves along at a nice pace, but there are also a lot of unexpected twists that show up when you least expect them. It really is excellent.
Satan: So, youâre looking for books on artâŠÂ Iâm guessing that our trip to the gallery earlier inspired you? Good. I like where this is headed. In that case, you should head to the next floor up and look at rows H through K. Itâs fun to pull out each book one by one and look at the art on their covers.
Wow, you sure know a lot about this place.
Satan:Â Well, the library is sort of like my second home, after all.
â
2. Guess I donât need the computer with you around.
Satan: *guilty wince* Ah, right...I guess Iâm not helping you learn how to use the computer to look up stuff, am I?
â
3. Thanks.
Satan: *sheepish smile, embarrassed* Am I butting in a little too much?
â
Satan: *self-conscious* Iâve looked through every book here in the library, and I remember where each and every one of them is located. So, I couldnât help but want to offer advice. Anyway, when Iâm here with you, itâs definitely going to be faster to ask me where things are rather than looking them up on the computer.
Satan: *smiles* Well then, as long as Iâm here, I might as well show you to the floor where youâll find your books. Come on, this way.
*time skip*
Satan: When youâre ready to leave with your books, you check them out at the counter we passed earlier. And to head over to the new annex, use that passageway there.Â
As I look up at the wall of the hallway, I notice a giant portrait of Lucifer hanging there.
OhâŠwow.
Satan: *looks over at it too* I see youâve noticed. Well, I guess itâs hard not to when you pass through here. With the way heâs featured so prominently up there, looking all impressive.
Satan: âŠÂ
Whatâs wrong?
Satan:Â I...hm. I was remembering some stuff.
â
2. Lucifer really is handsome, huh?
Satan: *frowns* Eh, I dunno. I mean, itâs hard for me to judge. Probably since heâs my brotherâŠÂ You knowâŠ
â
3. Stay quiet, and see what he says next.
Satan: *sighs*
â
Satan: *grim* I guess maybe youâre still not aware of thisâŠÂ The truth is...Lucifer and I used to be the same being. We shared the same body. But he was defeated in battle and cut off his own wingsâall six of them.
Satan: Thatâs when it happened⊠A burning, unstoppable rage erupted from within Lucifer, splitting off from him. And the part that split off...was me.
Satan: *frustrated* I guess ever since then, Iâve always wished I could be different from him. But no matter what I do, I always feel like Iâm smaller somehow. Like, Iâm just a fragment of him and nothing more.
Satan: *shakes head* âŠÂ
Satan: âŠ*expression softens* Maybe itâs only an inferiority complex. *re-composes self* Sorry. I shouldnât have let you see this side of me. Itâs embarrassing.
Comfort him.
Satan: ...*raises brows, surprised* Whatâs that now? Brothers, even if theyâre identical twins, are their own peopleâwith their own personalities and their own sets of skills?
Comfort him.
Satan: *grows serious* ...So, youâre saying Iâm not part of Lucifer, but my own person? You really think so? And you think that I can stop comparing myself to him?
Exactly!
*emotional music plays*
Satan: *taken aback, surprised* Iâd never thought about it like that beforeâŠÂ Iâve always wanted to be different from Lucifer. Itâs all Iâve ever thought about. But now that you put it that way, youâre right. Beel and Belphie are twins too, but they couldnât be more differentâŠ! *grins, chuckling* I see, yeah...yeah, that makes sense.
*time skip*
*fade to HOL hallway*
Satan: *sighs* Wow, guess we stayed out pretty late, huh?
Satan: *grows serious* âŠListen. Iâm really glad we got to spend the evening together, Chise. *smiles* Thanks.
Sure. And thank you, Satan.
Lucifer:Â ...Well, this is unusual. Did you two come back together?
Satan: *startles* AhâŠ!
Lucifer: ⊠*chuckles, goes to leave*
Satan:Â Lucifer, wait.
Lucifer: What?
Satan: *smiles* Chise and I spent the whole evening together, you know. From the time classes ended to right now. *smile turns into a smirk* *snickers* Hehehe. I bet youâd like to know where we went, wouldnât you? But too bad, because Iâm not telling.
Lucifer: âŠÂ
Satan: *chuckles impishly* You know, we really did have a good time. Maybe we shouldâve invited you along, too? I feel bad, seeing as how Iâm closer to Chise than you are after tonight.
Lucifer: ⊠*smiles*Â
Lucifer:Â Iâm glad you made a friend, Satan. ...Good for you.
End.
--------
Text chat:Â Presentation (from Satan)
--------
Satan: I finally saw it, Chise.
Satan: The really popular movie that everyone is talking about.
Satan: âTHAT: To See It Is to Meet Your End.â
What movie is that?
Satan: đ€Ż
Satan: Hold on, youâre serious?
Satan: You mean you donât know what âTHATâ is?
Satan: There have been so many commercials for it on TV lately.
Satan: Itâs hard to believe that you havenât seen it yet, much less heard of it.
Satan: Meaning that you have little interest in movies or the like
Not necessarily.
Satan: Is that so?
Satan: That sounds awfully suspicious.
Satan: đ€š
â
2. I guess not.
Satan: What a waste. And to think, you could be having the time of your life, Chise.
Satan: đ
â
Satan: Of all forms of art, movies are perhaps the easiest to get your hand on.
Satan: If you want to grow to be more cultured, I would suggest that you seek out every opportunity to watch them.
Satan: Iâve got it.
Satan: Since you seem so disinterested in it, how about I fill you in on exactly why âTHATâ is worth your time.
Thanks.
Satan: It is my pleasure.
â
2. Canât this wait until later?
Satan: Here we go.
â
Satan: âTHATâ is a horror movie, unabashedly so.
Satan: It is a story about a monster that tries to lay claim over a personâs heart and the children that stand against it.
Satan: Though the monster is quite the knave.
Satan: It knows the childrenâs greatest fear and uses that knowledge to scare them.
Satan: And once their hair has gone white with abject fearâŠCHOMP! Down his gullet they go.
Satan: The more fear-glutted they are, the better they tasteâor so the monster thinks.
Satan: A monster that will use any underhanded trick it can muster to induce fear, and the children that stand opposing it, wringing out every last bit of bravery they have in the processâŠ
Satan: Explaining any further would spoil the movie⊠It was amusing. Itâd give some action movies out there a run for their money.
Satan: âŠBut even my explaining it wouldnât accurately convey just how good this movie is.
Satan: đą
Satan: So I guess that means that weâll have to go and see it together. Right now.
Satan: âA picture is worth a thousand words,â as they say.
Satan: After hearing what Iâve had to say, youâve most certainly grown interested enough to want to see how it ends, right?
I want to see it!
Satan: đ
Satan: Great. I wouldnât have it any other way.
Satan: Fantastic. Iâm glad to see the movie has piqued your interest.
Satan: Then shall we meet at the entrance of the House of Lamentation?
Satan: And be sure not to mention this to my brothers.
Satan: Weâve finally got a reason to spend time together.
Satan: I wouldnât want anyone getting in the way of that.
â
2. Iâm not so sure...
Satan: âŠThen give my explanation another read, and pay attention this time.
Satan: Read it aloud if thatâs what it takes.
Satan: Well, have you finally come around to seeing âTHATâ?Â
--------
Text chat:Â Marry Me! (from The Demon Brothers(6))
--------
Asmo: Ugh, what am I going to do? Iâve been working forever, and Iâm still not done with my homework for tomorrow! đ
Beel: Iâm hungryâŠ
Levi: Well, Iâve set my DVR to record âLifeâs a Breeze Now That Iâve Been Reborn as a Demon,â so Iâm going to go ahead and go to bed.
Mammon: Iâve got no reason to live anymore⊠Lucifer took my credit card away from me again. My babyâs been kidnappedâŠ
Satan: @Asmo Iâve already finished tomorrowâs homework. Want to take a look at it later?
Satan: @Beel I actually just finished making salmon sandwiches. If you come to the kitchen, you can have one.
Satan: @Levi I heard Solomon mention that your show was going to be on an hour later than usual this week. Are you sure you set the time right?
Satan: @Mammon itâs behind the painting of the prairie hanging near the front door.
Asmo: Satan, I love you! Marry me! đđ
Beel: Marry me, too. Iâll make you the happiest demon in the Devildom.
Levi: Iâm still allowed to be an otaku if we get married, right?
Mammon: Even if we tie the knot, Iâm still not getting a job or anything. Youâre OK with that, right?
Satan: I donât know. I usually go for the older, independent type.
Lucifer: *looks around, arms crossed* Where is Mammon?
Satan:Â Figures that heâd be late after all that whining about when dinner will be ready.Â
*CAMERASHAKEDOORSLAM*
Mammon: *hands on HIPS, commanding the room with a glare* Whaddya think youâre doinâ?! Nowâs not the time to be stuffinâ your faces!Â
Lucifer: *shakes head, scowling irritably* What are you riled up about this time?
Mammon:Â The limited-edition market is coming here this weekend!
Asmo: *wide-eyed gasp* What?! You mean the one that sells limited-edition goods from food to art that canât be found anywhere else? That limited-edition market?!
Mammon: *BIG grin, happy sparkles* Thatâs the one! If I can score some rare items and resell them online, Iâll be rollinâ in grimm!Â
I want to go!
Asmo: *beaming giggle* Me too! I need to get my hands on the Devilâs Salon limited-edition skin care set!Â
Belphie: *cute little chuckle, smiling* I want to try out the limited-edition premium mattress from Devilish Bedding.
Levi: *wide-eyed, dramatic yelling* The special market-edition TSL figures will finally be mine!
â
2. What do they sell exactly?
Satan: *smiles engagingly* They have items that arenât sold anywhere but at that market, like catalogues of rare republished books.
Beel: *happy little chuckle* Hellâs Burger has a market-only menu, too. Like the headless dragon deluxe burger.
â
Lucifer: *shakes head, frowning severely* Forgive me for being the bearer of bad news, but have you all forgotten about our spring cleaning that is taking place this weekend at the House of Lamentation?
Asmo: *dismayed outrage* You canât be serious! This market only comes around once every few decades!
Mammon: *glares darkly* Thatâs right! Come on, Lucifer, let us go!
*Beelâs stomach rumbles*
Beel: *rubs stomach with puppy-dog-eyed pleading* PleaseâŠÂ
Lucifer: âŠ*sighs with resignation* Two of you may go. The rest will stay here to clean.
Mammon: *beams* Okay! Letâs draw cards...
Satan:Â Rock, paper, scissors is more fair.
Mammon: *immediate petulant outrage* CâMON!
ââââââââ
AsmoBaby:Â Seems like an easy quiz.
ââââââââ
*Devildom market*
Satan: *smiles, relaxed* The limited-edition market never fails to draw a large crowd. Chise, stay close, okay?
Iâm glad we got to go.
Satan: *sighs heavily* Mammon and Asmo were grumbling when we left. Even though they agreed to the game, they can be such sore losers.
â
2. Can I hold your hand?
Satan: *steps closer with a happy chuckle* Of course. Weâre on a date after all.
â
(???)Â Oh, well if it isnât Satan and Chise!
Satan: *raises brows* Hm? ...Oh, Little D. No. 2. What are you doing here?
Little D. No. 2: The main sponsor for this market is a friend of Lord Diavolo, so he had me come and help out. Oh, speaking of! Why donât you two join our stamp rally?
Satan: A stamp rally?
Little D. No. 2: See, when you buy something at the market, they ask you a question, and if you get the answer right, youâll receive a stamp. Once you collect enough stamps, youâll get a wonderful prize!
Satan: *touches chin with a nod, smiling* Oh, that sounds like fun.
*time skip*
Satan: âŠOkay then. We got the mattress Belphie wanted. Itâll be shipped to the House of Lamentation for us...and we got Asmoâs skin care set and the figures Levi begged us to buy. Â
Satan: *smiles engagingly* Weâre doing well on the stamp rally too. All of our answers have been correct so far. *grimaces slightly, humming in disappointment* But...arenât the questions way too easy?
Maybe theyâre going easy on us.
Satan: *nods thoughtfully* Right? The first one was âThe three worlds are the Devildom, the Celestial Realm and...?â *sighs, disappointed* Even as a warm up, that was a bit disappointing.
â
2. I donât think so...
Satan: The only one you couldnât answer was...âWhatâs the name of the pathway that connects the Devildom and the human world?â The answer is the âEight Layers of the Devildomâ. *smiles encouragingly* Well, youâll most likely never have any business going down there, but it wouldnât hurt to remember.
â
Satan: The burgers that Beel wanted us to pick up are...over there it seems. *smiles* At this rate, the stamp rally prize will be ours too. Letâs keep this up.
ââââââââ
monSOLO:Â One rare book after another.
ââââââââ
Satan: *sighs tiredly* Phew... We ended up buying a lot. With the blood-painted ticket set for Mammon, weâve purchased everything that my brothers asked for. *smiles charmingly, holding eye contact* Chise, is there anywhere you want to check out?
We can go where youâd like to go.
Satan: *winces guiltily* ...Could you tell that Iâve been waiting? *smiles gratefully, affectionate* Thank you. Letâs head to the second-hand bookshop.Â
â
2. What about Lucifer?
Satan: *scoffs, scowling irritably* He doesnât need anything.Â
Satan: *expression falls, looks down with a bit of sad shame* âŠ
Satan: *meets eyes hesitantly, uncertain, mixed feelings* ...Then again, he allowed us to come here instead of help everyone clean today, so⊠*tentatively touches chest, looking sad and uncomfortable* ...I guess we could buy him some special coffee beans from the market.
â
3. I want to look at the accessories.
Satan: *smiles affectionately* Oh, this ring is designed to look like a salamander. It suits you, Chise. Let me buy it for you.
â
Satan: *looking over at a stall, speaking seriously* Iâd like these books delivered to this address, please. Oh, can I add that history book in the corner as well? And I want that cat photobook on the left too. *brows draw together in saddened disappointment* I guess they donât have Magical Fungi of the Three Worlds: Distribution and Ecology...
Satan: *wide-eyed, shocked gasp* ...Th-This is...the first edition of the Encyclopaedia of the Devildom!
Satan: ...Huh? *raises brows in surprise* Weâll receive a catalogue of rare republished books if we get this question right? *lights up with a genuine smile* What a coincidence. Thatâs what I came here looking for in the first place. Letâs get that catalogue and be on our way.
ââââââââ
L3V1:Â Definitely fishy.
ââââââââ
Satan: *scowls severely* Grr... *grimaces* This question is a lot harder than the ones we had before. *noise of frustration* I have no idea what the answer is... But this is my one chance to finally get my hands on that catalogue...Â
Leave it to me!
Satan: *nods seriously* Good idea, you know more about the human world than anyone... You can do it, Chise!
â
2. Can I go with my gut?
Satan: *nods seriously* Sure, I havenât the slightest clue anyway. We might as well give it a shot. *smiles encouragingly* I trust your gut.
Satan: *beams, happy sparkles* I wouldnât have been able to get my catalogue without your help, Chise. *smiles sincerely, engagingly* Iâll buy you a treat as thanks. Order whatever you want.Â
*small time skip*
Satan: *upbeat* The butchered cheesecake was amazing. ...Oh, another question, huh? *nods, frowning thoughtfully* âName three things that you love about the person most precious to you.â
Satan: *perks up with an eye-crinkling smile of delight* They must want me to name three things I love about you then.
Satan: *eyes meet yours, full of open affection* Well, first off, I love your determination even in the face of adversity. Next, I love how deeply you care about everyone, and your adorable smile, and... *raises brows in realization* Oh, I guess thatâs three. *laughs sheepishly, embarrassed* I could go on and on.
(???)Â *whistle* Is it getting hot in here or is it just me?!
Satan: Little D. No. 2?! Why are you here...?Â
Little D. No. 2:Â I came to take a look at how youâre doing in the stamp rally.Â
*pathetic popping sound, very minimal camera shaking*
Little D. No. 2: It looks like we have a winner! Congratulations on collecting all the stamps! Your prize is this lovey-dovey candy!
Satan: *looking extremely doubtful/confused* âLovey-dovey candyâ...? Who came up with such an awful name...?Â
Little D. No. 2:Â This will make your love for each other burn brighter than a thousand suns!
*fade to HOL common room*
Asmo: *happy smile* Hey! Welcome back! How was the market?
Satan: *smiles back cheerfully* It was fun. We made sure to get everything you asked for.Â
Asmo:Â I knew I could count on you, Satan! You too, Chise!
Mammon: *immediate wide-eyed panic* H-Hey, you two...! Whatâs with the hand-holdinâ, huh?!Â
Belphie: *sniffs the air curiously* Do you guys smell something...sweet?Â
Weâre lovey-dovey, thatâs why.
Mammon: EXCUSE MEEEEEEEEE?!
Levi: *short, impatient sigh* Shut up, Mammon. Also, Luciferâs mad at you for not dusting properly.
Mammon: *outraged* There are more important things to focus on right now!Â
â
2. We had some lovey-dovey candy.
Beel: *gasps* *smiles* I want some too.
Satan: *shakes head apologetically* Thereâs none left, sorry. We won it in the stamp rally and we only got a piece for myself and Chise.
Beel: *face falls into a sad, disappointed pout* OhâŠ
Satan: *chuckles* Donât pout. We did buy you the headless dragon deluxe burger.
Beel: *lights right back up, bouncing in excitement* Oh!
â
Satan: *moves closer, smiling warmly* Chise, thanks for today. *eyes crinkle happily* I enjoyed the market, but I liked spending the whole day with you the most.Â
Satan: *chuckles, holding eye contact flirtatiously* ...We can keep on being lovey-dovey, canât we?
End.

Text chat:Â The Truth Behind the Lovey-Dovey Candy (from The Fantastic Three(3))
ââââââââ
Lucifer: I heard that Little D. No. 2 helped out at the market.
Diavolo: đââïž
Diavolo: Yes, I believe he was helping with the stamp rally.
Lucifer: According to Chise, their prize for collecting all the stamps was some âlovey-dovey candyâ.
Lucifer: I have never heard of such candy before. Do you know what it is?
Diavolo: Lovey-dovey candy?
Diavolo: Itâs the first I've heard of it.
Barbatos: â
Barbatos: I think I know.
Diavolo: đ¶?
Barbatos: The other day I was organizing the pantry in the Demon Lordâs castleâŠ
Barbatos: âŠand I found a large amount of candy left over from a party we had quite a while ago.
Barbatos: I gave it all to Little D. No. 2 as thanks for helping out.
Barbatos: I believe thatâs what Satan and Chise got.
Lucifer: I see.
Lucifer: So heâs simply handing out ordinary candy under a fancy name,
Diavolo: Sounds like something he would do.
Barbatos: Did Satan actually believe it?
Lucifer: I doubt that he would fall for a trick like that.
Lucifer: He most likely pretended to believe it so that he could get closer to Chise.
Lucifer: Who knew he had such an endearing sideâŠ
Thank you again to @kroskimk for providing a video for me to transcribe from AND submitting the chat!
I LOVE how literal early-days Satan is, and how MC helps him embrace a more natural sense of warmth and character. Satan parrots what he knows â from fiction, nonfiction, what he learns in seduction classes â but the thing is, is that we all do that! Until we learn and experience the world and our feelings for ourselves, we parrot what is modelled to us, what is emulated around us, until we come into our own. He's just late to the party as he traverses that learning as a fully-formed adult.
So he's awkward and stilted. He "knows of" love in an abstract, literary sort of sense, detached from its meaning until he truly begins to experience it for himself â to love, and to be loved, by MC.
ââââââââââââââââ
DDSimeon:Â What could it be?
ââââââââââââââââ
*Satanâs bedroom*
Satan: *smiles engagingly, hand resting casually on his hip* You know, I was talking to Solomon, and he mentioned something interesting. Apparently, you have this tradition called Valentineâs Day up in the human world... *hums with interest, holding gaze* Â ...and from what I hear, itâs supposed to take place right around this time of year.
Why are you bringing this up all of a sudden?
Satan: *touches chin with a thoughtful nod* Up until now, human customs have always been something I have only read about in books. *smiles eagerly* But now that youâre living here with us, I thought it might not be a bad idea to learn about those customs.
â
2. Are you going to give me a present?
Satan: *nods seriously* Thatâs what I had in mind.Â
â
Satan: *smiles curiously* Have you ever gotten a Valentineâs Day gift when you were up in the human world?Â
Of course!
Satan: *smile remains unchanged* Ah. So you must have had someone special...Â
â
2. Not that I can think of...
Satan: *presses hand over his heart with a start, taken aback* No? Interesting⊠*looks aside with brows drawn in sympathetic confusion* Did nobody in the human world actually stop and wonder about you? *looks back up with an amused chuckle, soft eye contact* Because personally, if I were a human, I know Iâd do whatever I could to win you over. *flirtatious confidence* Actually, even as a demon...
â
3. Would you be jealous if I said yes?
Satan: *looks down, brows furrowed self-consciously* How about I turn that question around on you. Do you want me to be jealous?
â
Satan: *nods cheerfully* Regardless, Iâd like to give you a gift. I may not be human, but I did my best to come up with something fitting...Â
ââââââââ
Mammoney:Â For real?! OW YEAH!
ââââââââ
Satan: I may not be human⊠*noise of amusement* but I did my best to come up with a fitting Valentineâs Day gift for you. *chuckles, radiating confidence* Iâm well aware of the sorts of things people like up in the human world. Humans love getting rare and precious items as gifts. Youâre all like that.
Satan: *frowns, touching his chin with a thoughtful nod* ...Though really, I guess we demons are the same in that regard. *smiles cluelessly* Because when you own something rare and expensive, you feel superior to others. It feels good.
Yeah, I guess youâve got a point.
Satan:Â Exactly. Thatâs how peopleâs brains work, right?Â
â
2. Thatâs not necessarily true for everyone.
Satan: *frowns severely, shaking head* Well, every human Iâve ever encountered has been like that, at least.Â
â
3. Thatâs not true.
Satan: *smiles confidently* You donât think so? Well, Iâve got something for you that might change your mind.Â
â
Satan: *smiles* Go ahead and open this box.
Open it now.
*crinkling noise*
â
2. Hesitate.
Satan: *frowns with a noise of impatience* Go on, hurry up and open it.
2. A) Open it.
*crinkling noise*
â
Satan: *smiles with a confident chuckle* So, what do you think? Beautiful, arenât they? Theyâre corundum crystals. Though I suppose thatâs not a word everyone is familiar with. Rubies, sapphires, emeralds...all of those are varieties of corundum.
Satan: These happen to be very high-grade corundum crystals. The sort that would be housed in museums in the human world. *laughs cheerfully, straightening with an eye-crinkling smile* Go ahead, pick whichever ones you like and take them. In fact, you can have the entire box if you want.
No thanks.
Satan: *visibly starts, eyes widening in perplexed shock* Wait, what...?Â
ââââââââ
LordDiavolo:Â That was unexpected.
ââââââââ
Satan: *stares in shock* No thanks...? Are you insane? Do you feel bad accepting something so expensive? Or are you just turning them down out of pride? *looks aside with a sigh of frustration, exasperated* These arenât like those fake gemstones you find all over the human world. These are the real thing!
Satan: *straightens, smiling cheerfully with a change of tactics* Here, what about this sapphire? Do you know the origin of the word âsapphireâ? Iâve read that it comes from a human world language, ancient Sanskrit. Apparently it means âtreasured by demons.â *laughs, eyes crinkling with a press of his hand over his heart* That deep blue colour really suits you.
No thanks.Â
Satan: So you werenât joking around... This is as good as anything in Diavoloâs personal collection.
â
2. Not interested.Â
Satan: *gasps, eyes wide* Even here in the Devildom, these are rare and precious items...even more so than in the human world. Yet youâre really not interested?
â
Satan: *recovers with a charming smile, fake-relaxing* Okay then, what do you want? Gold bars? Silver, maybe? *looks to the side with a thoughtful frown* Or is it social status you desire? Prestige? Is there some human somewhere who strikes your fancy? Who youâd like to put under your spell? *returns gaze with his charming, relaxed smile* Or perhaps thereâs someone out there youâd like to kill? *nods, touching his chin with a thoughtful hum* The humans who summon us demons always desire stuff like that.
Thereâs something Iâd like you to have.
Satan: *starts, taken aback once more* WhatâŠ?Â
â
2. No thanks. But I want to give you something.
Satan: *raises brows with a noise of surprise*
â
Satan: *frowns* You want to give me something?
ââââââââ
AsmoBaby:Â Where's mine?
ââââââââ
*time skip*
*RAD student council room*
Satan: *sighs impatiently* Whatâs going on? Why did you ask me to meet you here? You mentioned that there was something you wanted to give me... *looks to the side with an offended huff* Is that what this is about?
*music pauses*
Give him homemade sweets.
Satan:Â *startles in wide-eyed shock* Did you make these? For me? *expression softens, voice gentling* Well, they donât exactly look pretty, but they do look delicious.
â
2. Give him flowers.
Satan: *startles in wide-eyed shock* Flowers? Wait... Did you pick these out with me in mind? *voice softens with his delighted, eye-crinkling smile, dipping his head gratefully* You went to all that trouble just for me...Â
â
3. Give him a book.
Satan: *startles in wide-eyed shock* Youâre giving me a book? Wait, no... All of the pages are blank, so itâs a diary? *voice softens with his delighted, eye-crinkling smile* You really came up with the perfect gift for me...
â
*soft music plays: Bonds*
Satan: *nods to himself, frowning thoughtfully* ...I see. I feel like I finally understand. *smiles with a sigh of understanding* I get why you didnât want to accept my gift. *looks down, brows drawn in shame* I thought that all humans wanted rare and precious things, no matter who they were. *meets eyes with a thoughtful frown* So I thought that surely youâd be happy getting something like that, too.
Satan: But I was only thinking of you as a human, lumping you together with all of the other humans⊠*touches his chest with a heavy sigh, brows furrowing sadly* I never actually thought about what would make you happy. ...Iâm sorry.
Thereâs no need to apologize.
Satan: *sad softness* Hearing you say that actually makes me feel even more terrible about what I did.Â
â
2. Isnât there something else you should be saying?
Satan: *raises brows* âŠSomething else? Ah, youâre right. I forgot to thank you, didnât I?
Satan: *breaks out into a sincere, grateful smile, inclining head in acknowledgment* Thank you, Chise. I really appreciate it.
â
Satan: *looks aside with another sigh, shaking his head* However, I feel troubled. You gave me a gift, but I donât have anything for you. At least, not on hand. *meets eyes again, expression serious, sincere* Would there happen to be something you want that I could give you? It doesnât have to be something I have on me now. If youâll take a rain check, Iâm happy toâ
Kiss him.
Satan: *gasps*âŠ!
Satan: *presses hand over his heart, looking down with a fierce blush*
Satan: *looks up with a stern, admonishing frown, cheeks red* ...Well, this is no good at all. Iâm supposed to be giving you a gift, but that felt like another gift for me. *expression grows earnestâdesperate, or nervous* Allow me to return the favour...
â
2. Hug him.
Satan: *yelps in surprise, wide-eyed* âŠHey, are you even listening to what Iâm saying? *looks aside, brows furrowed with anxious uncertainty* I asked if thereâs anything you want that I could give you.Â
Satan: *meets eyes with a self-conscious blush* Well⊠*lets out a relenting chuckle, brows drawing together in fond embarrassment* Itâs not like thereâs any hurry. Youâve got plenty of time to decide.
â
3. Take his hand.
Satan: *sighs* *relents with a fond smile, relaxing* You know, itâs been centuries upon centuries since Iâve felt the urge to make someone else happy...
Satan: *touches his chest with a blush, gazing earnestly* ...Life is never boring when youâre around, is it Chise?Â
End.

Text chat:Â What's Up With That? (from The Demon Brothers (New)(7))
ââââââââ
Belphie: Guess who I just sawâŠ
Beel: Who?
Belphie: Satan and MC.
Belphie: Out in the courtyard.
Mammon: What were they doing?!
Belphie: It looked kind of like they were getting cute with each other.
Mammon: WHAT?!
Levi: Ugh, normies! I wish theyâd all just disappear!
Asmo: Hmm, maybe they are acting like that because of Valentineâs Day?
Beel: Valentineâs Day?
Mammon: Whatâs that supposed to be?
Levi: I know!
Levi: Itâs this custom they have up in the human world.
Levi: A lot of dating sims have special Valentineâs Day events and stuff.
Asmo: Itâs a day where couples get together and things get erotic. A day for love-making, right?
Mammon: đ€Żđ±
Levi: Well, sort of.
Lucifer: Youâve got it all wrong.
Belphie: That might be what Valentineâs Day is about to YOU, Asmo, but not to everyone else.
Asmo: You say they were âgetting cute with each other,â how cute do you mean?
Asmo: Was there tongue involved?
Asmo: Were they wearing clothes?
Belphie: Asmo, shhh!
Mammon: Dammit, Satan!
Mammon: Why didnât you tell us about Valentineâs Day, huh?!
Mammon: I want to do this Valentineâs Day stuff with MC, too! I want my Valentine time!
Satan: *jumps, yelps in alarm* HEY! What theâŠChise?! *scowls* Canât you wait for me to let you in first?!
What are you hiding?
Satan: *shakes head, brows drawn in self-conscious embarrassment* I-Iâm not...hiding anything⊠*winces, looking down guiltily* ...I mean, I have no reason to hide anything from you, Chise.
â
2. Am I interrupting something...?
Satan: *shakes head, verging on sulky shame* Donât give me that look. I wasnât up to anything weird if thatâs what youâre thinking.
â
Satan:Â This thing I have here is called a âdevil axe.â
Youâre not planning on using that to off Lucifer, are you?!
Satan: *laughs in amusement, eyes crinkling mischeviously* Itâll be over before he knows what hit him! If only it were that easy. *shakes head in regretful disappointment* Itâll take a lot more than an axe to take down Lucifer.
â
2. Cool!
Satan: *perks up, smiling excitedly* Isnât it? Take a look at the decoration here. That small insignia you see is the devilâs crest.Â
â
Satan: I told you about my favourite author of mystery novels before, havenât I? He supervised the production of the new escape room event that recently opened at Escape Manor.Â
Satan: *smiles engagingly, cheerful* Asmo offered me a free ticket so I decided to check it out. I became a little obsessed. Especially with the character Devil Pawn. Heâs an axe-wielding knight.
Satan: *chuckles happily, eyes crinkling with delight* At first glance he appears to be a brave and powerful knight, but underneath he has a huge soft spot for cats! The next thing I knew, I was looking at Devil Pawn merch. Thatâs how I got the devil axe.
Youâre buying merch now...?
Satan: *flinches, cringing* NgkâŠ! Donât make me say it again... I realize that Iâve passed the point of no return.
â
2. You sound like Levi.
Satan: *immediately glare-pouts, shaking head in offense* Please donât say that.
--------
Lucifer:Â Have you read the new one?
--------
Satan: *cheerful, relaxed* The escape room game was really intriguing. Every character has their own unique design and fully developed backstory that pulls the player into the game. I shouldnât have expected any less from the famous author of a popular mystery novel series.
It sounds interesting.
Satan: *pleased, eager* The author is coming out with a new novel based on the escape room. Iâll lend it to you. I have a feeling youâll like it a lot.
â
2. Take a breath, Satan.
Satan: *winces, embarrassed* Oops... I was getting carried away, wasnât I? *smiles softly* Iâve never been so fascinated with a game before.
â
Satan: *chuckles, excited* Take a closer look at this axe. Itâs a mere replica, yet the details are extraordinary. Itâs incredibly high quality. I was actually thinking about going back to the Escape Manor shop to look at a few more items I had my eye on.
I want to go too.
Satan: *charming smile, eager* Youâre more than welcome to come along. I assumed you were bored and that's why you came to see me. *smile widens, eyes crinkling in delight* This will be great. I wanted to tell you more about this masterpiece of a game anyway.
â
2. Does that mean we canât hang out today?
Satan: *smiles with doting amusement, as though youâre adorable* Well, you did come all the way over here to see me. Why donât you come with me to the shop? Iâd love your company.
Satan: *touches chin, nodding thoughtfully* Thereâs a Devil Pawn figurine. It has such impressive details...
Get it!
Satan: *smiles gratefully* I think I will. Itâll look great sitting next to the axe.
â
2. What if you lose interest in the game?
Satan: *hums doubtfully, expression uncertain* You have a point. *nods decisively* Iâd better pass on the figurine.
â
Satan: Hm? *smiles* They have pens with the characters on them. I could always use another nice pen. *smile widens in delight, happy sparkles* I like the design on this book cover. It has the devilâs crest on the front.
âââââââ Route 1
Are you enjoying yourself?
Satan: *raises brows* Is it that obvious? ...*cringes a bit* I think I finally understand Leviâs obsession with games.
âââââââ Route 2-A
2. I want to buy something for myself too.
Satan: *nods happily* Good idea. What do you want to buy?Â
2. A)Â A ballpoint pen.
Satan:Â In that case, do you want to buy the same one as me?Â
2. A-1) Iâll do that.
Satan: *laughs in delight, happy sparkles* Now, we have matching pens. *smiles engagingly* Look, thereâs even a little cat mark hidden on the Devil Pawn pen. *eyes crinkle happily* I like finding small details like this.
2. A-1)Â Iâll get a different character.
Satan: *tilts head, studying choice* That one is the princess. *smiles* A warrior princess to be exact. Sheâs a popular character not only because sheâs beautiful, but sheâs powerful as well. *chuckles in delight* Do you like that one? Iâm glad you found a character you like.
âââââââ Route 2-B
2. I want to buy something for myself too.
Satan:Â Good idea. What do you want to buy?Â
2. B)Â A keychain.
Satan: *inspects it with a hum, smiling* Thatâs the colour for the Royal Sorcerer. Heâs one of the main characters, so itâs a good choice.
Satan: *cheerful* I ordered the knight curry. It's red curry with a poison carrot shaped like a devil axe in the center.Â
Satan: Did you get the Prince and Princess omelette? Iâve never seen an omelette like that before. I wonder how they made half of it pink and the other half blue. *nods, smiling* Letâs try some.
*chew*
Satan: Mm...mmghâŠ?! *splutters, face beet-red, distressed* *cough* *cough*! âŠ*winces, embarrassed* I wasnât expecting the curry to be so spicy. I think they used deathâs door hot sauce in the curry.
Let me have a bite.
Satan: *raises brows, hesitant* Here you go. Donât say I didnât warn you.
*chew*
Satan: âŠ*bemused disbelief* You donât look to be affected by it at all. How is your mouth not on fire right now...?
â
2. Have some water.
Satan: *takes it with an embarrassed blush, mouth flat* Thank you... *cough* *cough*⊠*sighs in relief, looking aside* Phew, I wasnât expecting the curry to be so spicy...
Satan: *relenting smile, amused* If you can get past the initial heat, itâs actually very tasty. I mightâve found a new favourite food.
*fade to nighttime view off the Devildom bridge*
Satan: *smiles charmingly, gaze affectionate* Thank you for joining me today. I got this for you. Itâs a magical item called the knightâs amulet. Itâs used for defense in the game. The knight will sacrifice himself in order to protect the owner of the amulet.
Satan: *expression grows serious, hand on his heart* ...I may not be a real knight like Devil Pawn, but I still want to be the one to protect you.
Hug him.
*camera shake* *thwump*
Satan: *laughs in affectionate delight, happy sparkles* ...Iâd do anything to make you happy. I enjoyed our day together. Thank you, Chise.
â
2. Kiss him.
*closes eyes, surprising Satan with a kiss*
Satan: MnâŠ
Satan: *blushing deeply, brow furrowed in embarrassment* ...You couldâve warned me before doing something like that. *smiles warmly* But that kiss told me everything I needed to know.Â
Satan: *grows somber* Youâre surrounded by friends who are willing to drop everything to protect you. But I want to be the one you call on first. I want to be there ready to protect you before you even say my name. *expression softens, heartfelt pledge* I wonât allow anyone to get to you before I do.
2. A)Â Promise youâll protect me forever.
Satan: *smiles tenderly* Of course. Thatâs why I canât ever have you leave my side. I wonât be able to protect you if you do. *chuckles, eyes crinkling* Promise me.
2. B)Â I want to protect you too, Satan.
Satan: *laughs in surprised delight, happy sparkles* Nothing would make me happier. *peacefull, happy* I protect you and you protect me... Letâs promise to always be there for each other.Â
Satan: I may not have an amulet to hold on to, but I suppose a kiss from you will do. *expression softens, blushing, holding gaze* Will you give me one more kiss, Chise...?
End.

Text chat: Escape With Me (from Satan)
--------
Satan: đ
Satan: I was thinking about going to Escape Manor one last time before the event ends.
Satan: Apparently there were some hidden easter eggs that I missed on my first run through.
Satan: Would you be interested in going with me?
Iâll think about it.
Satan: Okay.
Satan: Just wanted to ask.
Satan: Let me know if you feel like coming along.
(End)
â
2. Absolutely!
Satan: Great.
Satan: Youâre the only one who I wanted to go with.
Satan: When I went alone the first time, the scenario was for one player.
Satan: Apparently, the play through is different with two players. Iâm looking forward to it.
Satan: Oh, thatâs right.
Satan: Are you interested in reading one of the works from the author who supervised the event?
Satan: Each story is so well written that you wonât want to put it down.
2. A) I donât want to read a novel.
Satan: I see.
Satan: In that case, I think a few works have been turned into a manga. Iâll ask Levi about it.
