She passed a couple fighting, a store raid, and several peddlers with “quality goods” trying to interest the few naive folks that were left in this town. Jae tossed her finished sucker stick into the next garbage as a shrill from the alleyway ahead caught her attention. With an upraised eyebrow and curiosity raised, she peeked around the corner from the shadows. A large figure was looming over something sprawled on the ground, a woman, she kept to the shadows to get a better look, with- blue hair?

Jae reacted before the thought even processed. Pulling a knife from the top of her boot, she bolted from the shadows, tossing the blade with precision and slicing the large figure’s calf. A howl as heard as he fell to his side and Jae quickened, tackling the man, sliding out another knife and holding it to his throat. Her eyes widened as she watched the woman sit up and hold a hand to her head, and she tightened her grip on the man.

"Lina! 2 things. 1-What.The.FUCK. and 2. Can I kill ‘em?"

As she slowly tried to get up, she hardly said “Jae… kill… him” Lina whispered. She could barley talk due the fact that she was almost beaten to death by some guy. Luckily Jae was here to save her. She owed her now

She taunted the man momentarily, whispering sweetly in his ear, before yanking his hair violently back, running the knife across his throat. She cleaned the blade on his shirt before kicking him aside, chuckling to herself. Jae turned in time to see her friend slump against the dumpster, red quickly covering her clothing,

"Fuck, Lina!" She quickly ran to her side and set the woman back down on the ground against some boxes. She pulled her phone out a dialed the first number in her backlog, "Hey, it's an emergency, NO I'm NOT JOKING! hurry the fuck up and get to us." She gave the voice on the other end directions and quickly hung up, leaning down and scooping her friend up gently.

"Sorry girl, but we gotta get out there so they can find us." Jae apologized as the woman winced in her arms, eyes slowly rolling,

Her eyes sprung open as she quickly glanced around the room, her living room. She sighed with relief as the mass in her arms shifted slightly and groaned, mumbling something before softly snoring once more. Jae slowly sat up, stifling her laugh and her murmuring stomach, as she recalled the previous nights events, rubbing her eyes as they adjusted to the lights that had most likely been on since then. Yawning, she stretched off the couch and stumbled sleepily to the closet, retrieving a blanket for her human pillow, gently tousling his hair before making her way to the kitchen.

The sun was starting to creep over the horizon, casting a pale orange glow through the window. She rubbed her shoulder and yawned once more, opting for some stronger coffee, as she added an extra scoop and started her maker. Her stomach went from mildly whiny to violently protesting when the aroma filled the kitchen and she frowned, pulling out almost everything that could count for breakfast, while popping a few grapes and a cheese stick in her mouth before shutting the fridge with arms full.

Jae stepped outside the main entrance and inhaled. Sure- the city still smelled like shit, but it was nice to get some fresh air once in a while. She rubbed her cheeks and basked momentarily in the sunshine before feeling a pair of eyes on her. Looking around and seeing nothing she turned to head back in the spa, when she noticed something sitting on the stair railing. Her eyes widened.

"eeEEEE!!!" she squealed and wrapped her arms around the creature, pressing it hard into her chest and giggling, "Aren’t you just the cutest thing!!" She set it down and patted it’s head, smiling widely,

 The Betelgeusian creature thought the house of the cold hard steps was completely abandoned. He was clearly wrong in this case. In this case, he was glad that he was wrong. When the woman squeezed and hugged him tight, the alien’s face was buried deep into her breast. The alien began to blush rapidly and a slight nose bleed went down his face as he was set back down and patted on the head. It was a jolt of energy to get him back up and fully awake.

Her jaw dropped, "Ohmygosh! and you can talk!" She squinched her face at his crass remark, then laughed and patted his head once again. "You're definitely my kind of animal."

Another laugh escapes her at the man's bravado as she crosses the room, "Oh man, that, was some excellent body-boarding." shaking her head slightly and double checking the back door he'd just locked, offering the same courtesy to the other bodies she'd shown the first thief, before meeting him with the open crates toward the center.

"This stuff?" Placing a finger to the powder and then to her tongue, Jae ultimately winced at the substance in her mouth. "Junkies eat this shit up." she closed the box, dusting the top off before shaking the excess off her hands. "Don't get me wrong, it's good for cheap, but its just laced with other shit that keeps you coming back. Personally, I'd steer clear of this if you want to keep sane," she chuckled before heading over to a corner panel, fiddling with an ancient chinese abacus, sliding the beads into position. It took a moment before the metal door gave in, allowing them the slightest passage into a back room. Jae disappeared through the hole, pressing a button before quickly reappearing, grinning Boss's way. Soft whizzing and whirring sounds could be heard from behind where she stood. "Well, c'mon. The showcase is in here."
