This is my daughter at 16 weeks.

You can see her bringing her knees to her chest, kicking, and waving her arms. At one point, she can even be seen sucking her thumb. 💕

However, in many places in the United States and even around the world, if I wanted to end her life right now, I could. There are many in our society that still consider her a ‘clump of cells’ even at this stage, and refuse to acknowledge the fact that she is alive.

Why do so many in our society consider a single-cell organism on another planet ‘life’ but not grant the same to a child that can kick, wave, and suck it’s thumb?

Not only is my daughter alive, but she is fearfully and wonderfully made. 💕
