this is someone who’s been cemented in the fandom for years—someone people turned to for archives, proof, and nostalgic videos about larry—now deleting everything and pulling back completely. the fact that they don’t even feel safe in their own home and are staying with family is chilling. and it’s not that they won’t talk about what happened—it’s that they can’t. they’ve been painfully clear on that.

people will always say we’re “delusional” for believing CL was threatened, or that there’s some higher power pulling strings here. but when you actually read those leaked emails and feel the anxiety dripping off the words, it’s hard to chalk this up to just a bullying situation. we always frame things as an “antis vs larries” war, but this feels like something else entirely. scarier. it’s about control and silencing.

because let’s be honest—it’s not just one person getting pushed out. it’s a pattern: blogs being driven away, people being scared into silence, narratives being twisted until we’re positioned as the problem. the endgame here seems to be hollowing out the fandom until all that’s left are smaller blogs no one listens to, or newer fans who don’t know the history and don’t know who to believe.

so just know: if my blog ever disappears, if i stop posting fics or delete long meta, it wasn’t because i suddenly gave up or changed my mind. it’ll be because i wasn’t given a choice.

I obviously know the projected attendance isn't the same, but I also have seen the environmental and costly impact left behind by other more recent music festivals in the United States.

if you actually pay attention, look at the timeline, and see the moments through the years, the “proof” is there. even people who aren’t in the fandom can see there was more than just friendship between them. i’ve had co-workers, who don’t even know who they are, watch clips of harry and louis and say there’s definitely something there, or that there were feelings.

now, antis love to say we aren’t in their heads, that we can’t know if there were ever feelings—but you’re not in their heads either. you can’t say for sure there weren’t feelings.

let’s stop speaking for harry and louis and stop acting like every single larrie ruined them. not all of us are like that.

One of the biggest challenges they face with coming out would be that it would point fingers & add weight to the rumors of closeting the boys, which would tarnish SC & MM. if they were to come out it would have to be in a way that “makes it clear” or looks as though this is all new & never was a thing or issue back in the days of 1D.

I thought everyone would know that they personally have not & do not want to live lies, having to hire women to pretend to be in relationships with them. Does anyone actually believe that H wanted to be with OW, or L wanted to spend 11 years on & off with El. 🤣😂 get real.

im pretty sure katie waissel has confirmed that bit about not shit talking simon, in x-factor contracts at least. i can only imagine syco's other contracts are similar if not harsher. not to forget how much simon has control over the media in the UK.

and youre absolutely right that them coming out would point a finger at syco, simon, modest, and sony as a whole. babygate is so important in that regard. more than anything else in 2025 i really feel like the lingering blame of closeting in the past is the main reason they still arent allowed to come out, since it would spark questions about companies and people who really dont want that bad PR.
