its really funny to me when people on this website get aggressive about what constitutes a REAL trigger when every therapist ive ever had uses the word “trigger” really liberally to mean literally anything that sets off some aspect of my mental illness (anxiety, psychotic paranoia, etc)

if you have a friend who leaves an abusive relationship whether it was romantic or platonic and you keep in contact with their abuser youre not their friend like holy shit why would you do that to them
