“Have you considered that Jetfire might need more than just fancy food and expensive toys?” Jazz asked.

“He’s a cat,” Prowl replied. “What more could he need?”

“Maybe some company?” Jazz moved his plate to the side and patted his leg. Skyfire jumped into his lap and stretched out his neck, scenting the pizza. “You’re not exactly home much, Dilan,” Jazz continued, placing an arm between Skyfire and the plate. “Can you really blame him for wanting a friend to hang out with?”

Starscream and Skyfire go for a test run in their new holoforms.

Makes me giggle every time with the shenanigans they get up to.

"Umm…" Starscream shot a confused glance at Skyfire, who was equally baffled.

"Don't worry," the woman soothed. "It doesn't have any thorns." She tucked the flower behind Starscream's ear and clasped her hands, beaming in obvious delight. "My dear, you look just lovely!"

"Thanks," Starscream replied, still looking bewildered. He poked at the flower, then pulled it from behind his ear, stared at it for a moment, and took a bite.

OG Summary (it’s perfect): “Starscream becomes the victim of an harassment campaign orchestrated by a parade of non-existent, multicoloured, winged clowns who were either stupid, ugly, pathetic, monstrous, or a combination of all four. Or more simply put, G1 Starscream is haunted by his alternate universe counterparts.”

All of them each think that they are the superior Starscream, and it makes way for a lot of infighting.

He sighed wistfully, expression softening, "I miss him like this."

"Like what, rolling around in the dirt screaming or getting his aft kicked by Prime?" Starscream growled.

"Both," he breathed, optics glowing with an intimate heat. "All fierce and arrogant and stupid." He licked his lips.

Alarmed, Starscream took an awkward step away from him.

He wasn’t the only one.

Very soon he discovered that his new friend was a treasure vault when it came to information. At first Orion was afraid to bother him with too many questions, but soon he realized that Megatron didn’t mind them at all; more than that, he actually seemed happy to oblige. Megatron’s knowledge was rather chaotic and unorganized, and it was obvious that he never got any systematic education, but he was able to answer almost every question Orion threw at him, and with time his answers grew longer and more detailed – as if he, too, was becoming bolder.

[Tell me about Cybertron], Orion would ask him, and the rest of the shift would pass unnoticed. Orion listened, and remembered, and catalogued the facts and impressions that were poured on him, secretly hoping that maybe some bit of information would stir something in him, something secret and forgotten, and trigger Orion’s own memories. Sometimes he even got that strange feeling, but it was not recognition, but rather… puzzlement? As if it didn’t agree with something in Orion’s core? Like when Megatron explained different optics colours, with blue and red being the most common, and yellow, green and purple being rare. Orion believed it was true, he saw various optics here, on C12, but… Somehow he supposed that blue was the natural one, and other colours were just modifications?

Any fic from Spoon888 is usually a very good read and laugh.

"I cannot believe I have to say this," Ratchet told all the Constructicons furiously, including Hook, as he threw towels at Bonecrusher's dripping face. "You have to shower every day on this planet. Every. Day."

"We do," Scrapper protested angrily. "We're surrounded by water, it rains all the time, and there are plenty lakes up-"

"No, not in the ocean!" Ratchet shrieked, gasket pressure reaching crisis point. He threw his hands up to clutch at his helm just to keep it from exploding. "Do you want to rust?! It's full of salt!"

They stared at him blankly.

"Sodium!" he roared.

"Really?!" Mixmaster, the chemist, blinked cluelessly.

Not a Prime Situation by CarlottaPrime

Optimus keeps his memory after defeating Unicron, but loses the power of the matrix, causing unintended consequences.

I think this fic altered my brain chemistry. When I first finished it, I had to set my phone down, take a deep breath, and go “holy shit”

Soooooooo good. Cannot recommend enough

Optional opratch, although in the amazing sequel it is the main focus.

Just a warning, but this fic is mainly centered around Optimus suffering from eons of bottled up PTSD from the war. It gets a little heavy sometimes, so be warned.

Maybe it was the residual acrid burning in his tank and throat pipe. Maybe it was his chassis’ utter tiredness at being so tense for so long. Or maybe it was the mere fact that Ratchet wasn’t demanding an explanation when he really should have been, seemingly for Optimus’ own sake.

For whatever reason, something in him finally broke.

His shoulders slumped and his helm bowed, the full weight of his exhaustion dropping onto his chassis like an anvil. He looked at his old friend, optics dull in the darkness.

“Ratchet, I…I am not fine.”

After restoring the Matrix, Orion is Optimus Prime once more, although not the one the Autobots were expecting.

Opratch centered (Orion and Optimus)

The story. The drama. The flashbacks. The pining. Absolutely spectacular.

Fowler took a couple steps forward as well. “Now hold on a second here, Prime – do you have your memories back or not?”

“I carry the knowledge of the past Primes now, so I am Optimus Prime,” he started, his servo clenched above where his spark and matrix were housed, “but I – I am aware that I was your leader, but I have not gained any memories of that time. I know little of what has happened since—” Again the mech paused, optic ridge furrowed as if searching his own processor. Nothing concrete seemed to come to him as his expression hardly shifted. “—Well, certainly before this war. And most of what little I have learned was from Megatron, so there is no way for me to know what was deception.”

There was a muttered “Scrap” from Arcee and Bumblebee visibly drooped with a whir.

Starscream never cared to learn anything about humans. This backfires.

Skywarp’s optics widened and he beamed, obviously overjoyed by the new title and what it would mean for the rest of the trine. Thundercracker could only stare at his trine mates in horror. Starscream wasn’t really one for jokes , at least not at his own expense, but then again, the waves of pride and satisfaction didn’t imply a joke at all. Both of Starscream and Skywarp were grinning at each other, beyond enthused, like they didn’t know what a clown was-

Optimus prime Orion Pax, former leader of the autobots and now archivist of the Lost Light, is tired of giving a shit.

Favorite concept in a fic so far. Cannot stop re-reading it for the life of me.

Megop (past and rekindled)

Not necessarily crack but a lot of silliness going on.

"Shut up," is the first thing he says when he sees Ironhide's delighted faceplates.

"Is tha' Orion Pax?" He asks far too loudly, sounding far too pleased, and he is very much already regretting this decision because now him and Ironhide are the same height.

Which is better than him being shorter again.

But not by much.

"Frag yourself," he barks in full view of the dozens of mecha watching them, and he sees over half the former Autobots and Decepticons in them choke at the same time Ironhide throws back his helm and cackles.

The descriptions I wrote up are not their official ones! I simply tried getting the main theme across in a short funny sentence or two.
