Alright fam, now remind everyone what we’re doing on December 17th?

We are Logging Off in protest of the policy causing glitches and interrupting our blogging experience, not to mention taking away the freedom for artists and other workers to profit through their platforms.

If people log off, only 1 day’s worth of revenue out of the 365 will be lost to employees of the website. This is not the end of the world. A website would not shut down over the loss of 1 day’s worth of revenue.

I’m pretty sure that staff can see all of our posts about the protest… unless they’re sleeping under a rock they know why we’re doing this.

Even if they know, if people log off it may give the people in charge (the creators, not the staff) the idea that people dont want the website anymore

People CLEARLY want the website, or we wouldn’t be protesting in the first place. This is a strike. We’re aiming to hit their pockets, which is exactly what you do, because money is the only thing that matters to big corporations. Get enough of a stink built up and maybe they’ll reconsider. Maybe they’ll come up with an alternate plan. Maybe they won’t do anything different and most of us will find new homes. The point is solidarity with the good people who are being unfairly targeted and screwed over by this move. You do what you want, no one is going to force you to log off, but I suspect it’s gonna be fairly lonely on the 17th.

The first time we see Kevin, he describes Holt as hilarious and the other characters are bewildered by this, but Holt has been a prankster since the beginning of the show. In the very first episode, when he was making Jake carry on with the robot impression, he was pranking him. The hula hoop incident.The fact he got so into the Halloween heists. Winding Jake up is one of his greatest sources of amusement and he loves playing jokes on people.
