embrevia! rebooting space au has been a fuckin trip. total overhaul of his backstory LMAO i decided i didnt like what i had so i’m rebuilding him. he comes from a crazy rich family and lives on the top level of this huge space station (station 66) that’s basically like a self-contained city orbiting a young star. the higher the level, the richer and more important you are, and he’s on level one. he’s bold, brash, and belongs in the fucking trash, not to mention spoiled as hell and way too entitled. his family is known as the royal family of station 66, and some people unironically (sometimes condescendingly) call him a prince. he’s considered very handsome for his species (attractive traits being a blushy nose, horns of equal length, and shiny eyes) and speaks his native tongue with a sophisticated accent. his common (english) accent sounds similar to russian. and yes, the epaulets are in fashion.

his species is called a talrocian, from talrocia (tal-ro-she-a) in the andromeda galaxy, and they are fragile as hell. they’re very soft and squishy (skin texture like a peach) and bruise easily, but they heal fast (flesh wounds are gone in just a few hours, bruises even quicker). they are capable of regenerating fingers and some organs–everything else is fair game. their blood is lime green and fairly thin, so they bleed very much, very quickly. they can only eat organic food and are technically herbivores with blunt teeth. they have the resting heart rate of a rabbit. the older they get, the less/slower they can regenerate, so talrocians often die of disease at an old age (~150 human years is average). it’s statistically uncommon for a talrocian to die young; the leading cause of death in young talrocians is murder. the horns are erogenous and sensitive to vibration. they go into heat once a cycle (a little longer than a year), sometimes twice depending on a few complex variables, for about two days. birthgivers are only capable of having one child at a time. they have no concept of sex-based gender and choose their pronouns in common based on what sounds good with their name.

What’s up I’m Litzi, I’m 26, and I never fucking learned how to write! I use she/her pronouns only. I’ve been writing consistently for 16 years and think of myself as a competent writer. Making original characters is my favorite pastime, and I mainly write character-driven fiction. I’m also interested in poetry and won a few awards for it. I’m greatly inspired by Allen Ginsberg’s Howl, and its influence shows in most of my pieces. My favorite word is fuck.

WRITING STUFF

My top genres are realism, magical realism, and sci-fi. My projects often revolve around LGBT+ characters and relationships, as well as mental illness (bipolar disorder). I love to write slice-of-life stories in fantastical settings, à la mundane daily life on a space station. My writing style is very concise and easy to read, so when I go to edit everything, it’s over with as soon as possible. All of my stories are interconnected (same characters in different settings, stories take place in the same world, shit like that), so I guess you’ll just have to read them all for the full Litzi experience. ;)

You might hear me talk about my big bad WIP, Crazy Kid. That’s my novel! The first draft is done and I’m waiting on editing now. Crazy Kid is about a depressed, bipolar millennial with an affinity for psychedelic drugs. The story revolves around his self-destructive habits and gradual recovery. I won’t be posting this here, but I might share quotes or passages that I like, or complain about editing.

My other WIP is an untitled novella (thus far) about lesbians and skateboarding and maybe witches, I haven’t decided yet. Like Crazy Kid, I won’t post this here, but I’ll talk about it a lot.
