oooh, well, I’ve always loved outer space, the universe, and learning about the planets. I have a lot of cosmic tattoos. nothing I’d ever do career wise but more of something that I’ve always found fascinating and beautiful

and the leeds part is obviously because leeds festival ‘11 was one of the best moments in larry history, and so hugely important because it was their last moment to just be purely them before the closeting began. it’s my favorite.

they were so happy to be there together

openly and comfortably gleaming, dancing, enjoying music, food. sharing a tent.

and harry kept his bracelet forever. it meant so, so much to him

if you don’t know the full details and importance of leeds this is my favorite masterpost ever for it. doesn’t miss a single detail!

I’m also sure that it was planned, that stuff is scripted or at least outlined. And I agree with you, I think they are both mature enough to realize that acting is acting and they support each other’s careers. A love scene might look sexy on screen but from what I’ve heard it’s anything but while filming. It’s like a choreographed fight scene or dance. It’s not real.

 IT IS SO CUTE AND SHOWS THE OPPOSITE OF JEALOUSY. If you listen carefully at the 50-53 sec mark of the video I will attach you can hear Harry say “what are you stroking” and Billy Crystal smiles knowingly at Harry who returns his smile. They had clearly rehearsed or planned/talked over this “skit” and Harry was worried James was going to forget to include pussycat Louis. THEN HE SAYS IT AGAIN, a second time at about 59sec or 1 min mark, just in case James wasn’t paying attention. It’s adorable. Harry wanted Louis to get some attention, have this cute role that he knew the fans would love. He likes his Louis to be the centre of attention, there have been numerous such incidences (around Louis association with the Doncaster Rovers among others) … to quote Harry “find someone supportive”

this is rather difficult but I think I have a solid explanation for my opinions on this!

1D: I’m going to have to go with something great, though I was slightly torn between that and home. I decided something great is more solid because it details harry literally wanting nothing more than to love his person, wanting them there so he doesn’t have to just imagine what freedom would be like, and wanting to rip up the script given to them and forcing them into playing a part. plus giving louis the solo at the end, claiming “you’re all I want, so much it’s hurting.” just ties it all together beautifully yet tragically.

HS1: definitely sweet creature without question. there’s lots of larry content on this album but sweet creature is like this all powerful know-it-all sort of thing. he talks about being young, stubborn, nostalgic. he talks about knowing where him and his person belong regardless of setbacks, uses home as a metaphor in two different sets of lyrics. and we all know what happened when he tried to stutter his way out of admitting who it’s about ☕️

fine line: I think a lot of people would say golden, but I’m liking sunflower vol. 6. fine line is sort of made up of a collection of loud individual lyrics rather than one overall loud song, but I think sunflower combines it all very nicely. he wants his person more than anything, he’s tongue-tied about it, he loves the little things about them (i.e. “tired eyes are the death of me”) mouth full of toothpaste before he got to know them being this reference to the xfactor house, the kids in the kitchen/kiss in the kitchen references. I think harry’s way with describing his lover with such gentle and pretty things is precious; sweet creature, sunflower, baby honey. he’s hopeless.

THEN

a month later HSHQ was born as “hshq1234567” which adds up to 28

there is a lot but I don’t think my answer on this will ever, ever change

it’s the series of events taking place from late august 2011 through early october 2011

when louis tweeted that the public “knows too much” the day before leeds festival:

then they’re pictured all over the place at leeds smiling and sparkling and having the time of their lives, and are reported publicly to be living together, allllll right before louis is papped out with E for the first time.

then the day after elouno goes public, AIMH happens

while H continues to wear the leeds festival bracelet forever like he was clinging on to the memory amidst hard events that followed.

here’s a collection of lyrics from harry’s house that stick out to me or that I deem significant and a bit of my reasoning. bear in mind this all just my opinion and to put them all in one place. i’ve found that looking at individual lyrics rather than a “larry song” as a whole is much more beneficial and this album does exactly that

music for a sushi restaurant:

“green eyes, fried rice I could cook an egg on you. late night, game time coffee on the stove. you’re sweet ice cream, but you could use a flake or two. blue bubblegum twisted ‘round your tongue”

→ interesting to me because the collection of lyrics as a whole match the homey, domestic feel of this album but harry “just so happened” to use the colors blue and green within one chunk near each other. nothing humongous but just interesting that those are always his go-to colors for everything.

“it’s cause I love you babe, in every kind of way, just a little taste, you know I love you babe”

→ obviously stands out because the lyrics match the kill my mind lyrics “just a little taste, babe.” word for word

late night talking

“It’s only been a couple of days and I miss you.”

“If you’re feeling down I just wanna make you happier baby. wish I was around I just wanna make you happier baby”

“we been doing all this late night talking about anything we want until the morning. now you’re in my life, I can’t get you off my mind.”

“I’ve never been a fan of change, but I’d follow you to any place. If it’s hollywood or bishop gate, I’m coming too.”

→ this song as a whole stands out to me because of the sense of being apart and missing each other, as well as the themes of being someone else’s comfort/uplifting them which was very present in h&l’s songwriting throughout 1D and now. the concept of sharing a bed as well, i.e. “we’ve been doing all this late night talking.”

grapejuice

“yesterday it finally came, a sunny afternoon, I was on my way to buy some flowers for you. thought that we could hide away in the corner of the heath, there’s never been someone who’s so perfect for me.”

→ the concept of hiding away in a romantic context really stuck out to me given h&l’s rough situation. and the last line draws parallels to their many lyrics regarding a long term relationship and is simply just cute so i had to note it :’)

“sitting in the garden, i’m a couple glasses in. I was tryna count up all the places we’ve been. you’re always there, so don’t overthink”

→ pretty self explanatory. lots of world traveling, i.e. counting all the places they’ve been

daylight

“I’m on the roof, you’re in your airplane seat. I was nose-bleedin, looking for life out there. reading your horoscope, you were just doing cocaine in my kitchen, you never listen, I hope you’re missing me by now.”

→ stuck out to me because it seems to detail one of them traveling while the other is home, and the missing me lyric seems interesting in the same context (i.e. you’re traveling right now, I hope you miss me) but it could be unrelated

“If I was a bluebird, I would fly to you. you’d be the spoon, dip you in honey so I could be sticking to you.”

→ if i could fly parallels!! also just simply mushy and cute

“we’re on bicycles, saying there’s life out there. you’ve got the antidote, I’ll take one to go, go please”

→ referencing love as a painkiller is a huge trend in h&l’s songwriting about each other; it was featured in my larry lyric parallels youtube video so i was pleasantly surprised to see him use this lyric again.

little freak

“stay green a little while, you bring blue lights to dreams.”

→ self explanatory. they pain me sometimes. i genuinely can’t believe he did this, it’s like my 2022 princess park haha

cinema

“it’s you, and i’m not getting over it. darling is it cool if i’m stubborn when it comes to this?”

→ long term relationship parallels!

keep driving

okay, this whole song is a standout on this album because of this (which is awfully awfully wholesome) and also this post that i have a screenshot of, but couldn’t find the original poster. if you know please let me know:

satellite

“we share the last line, then we drink the wall ‘till we wanna talk.”

→ jumped out to me a bit just because of h&ls constant communication parallels. another one from my youtube video on their songwriting

love of my life

“we don’t really like what’s on the news, but it’s on all the time.”

→ another pretty self explanatory one. in relation negative media stories, stunts, etc.

“i take you with me every time i go away, in a hotel using someone else’s name.”

→ this was another lyric i couldn’t believe was on the album. the first line either referencing traveling with louis’ clothing, the blue bandana, or something like that OR the first line going directly with the second referencing louis secretly traveling with him. either way it’s loud

“it’s unfortunate, just coordinates.”

→ harry released coordinates a while ago for harry’s house pop up shops that were oh so conveniently related to louis. then in a song called love of my life, he references coordinates? just really jumped out to me

Hahahaha! It probably is. I saw these hilarious tags from @hl-onlyforthebrave on my post about Louis’ stubbed toe and I swear this is how Harry is. 😅😅😅

Louis is a prolific songwriter who has penned most of the iconic One Direction songs and has written on every single one of the songs from his debut album Walls. LGBT+ fans have always resonanted with Louis’ song writing and most of us have picked up on the very obvious queer coding. Many people seem to dismiss Louis’ outcries about his sexuality through his songs and I’m here to bring back the attention to all the gay anthems Louis has given us! 

Before someone brings up the fact that Liam Payne has written on these songs too, in his own words, he focused more on melodies and Louis on the actual lyrics!
