The Geekettes

We are going to start introducing our Geekettes!  First up is Manda Cowled Cosplay!! Manda Cowled started cosplaying in 2013… yes just over a year ago! Since they she has cosplayed a multitude of Harley Quinn designs, Velma from Scooby Doo, M’gann, Bunny Raven, Black Cat and many other of her favourite characters. Growing up in the 90’s with Power Rangers, Batman The Animated Series and Xmen she was destined to be an adorkable nerd! Believing her father’s corvette was actually the Batmobile in disguise and being the worse sidekick ever by telling all her friends that he must be Batman may not have helped her get too many friends in school, but it did ignite a Batman obsession that has lasted to this day. Though she has cosplayed many characters to date, she has a confession to make… she has no idea how to sew and has made that her 2015 mission! Most of her costumes are collaborative with her best friend Ashe Rogue or closet cosplays she’s put together, in fact her Eevee and Chewbacca cosplays were completely put together by safety pins because she didn’t have access to a sewing machine or the skills!  Recently Manda has upped her cosplay game with props for Gaige from Borderlands, Pyramid Head's head and knife and her new Harley Hammer that is created off the base of her original hammer. Next major cosplay endeavour will be some Teen Titans and Queen's Blade!
