Being free

Some days it all feels like it falls into place but it comes crashing down again quickly at a trigger. I rethink over and over what has happened in my life, every horrible memory. I read it’s maybe because of my cancer moon. I dwell and let it fester. It’s hard and I get deeply scared that it won’t get better. I find the joy in little things, like a new hobby or passion. I repeat this pattern. I know I will always cycle, that it won’t last forever. I’m still here. I fall asleep with the haunting thoughts, feeling broken but I know there is still hope for the next day. This is me.
