I see a lot of videos of people with cougars and coyotes and wolves and otters and sea lions, and they think, oh, they're so cute, oh, they're so helpful to people, oh, they just want pets, and also bears. And I look at every one of them and I think, you are fucking insane for being that close to a wild fucking animal, who is a wild animal, and you are projecting human behaviors on them, when in reality, they can and have killed people. I will never fucking deal with any of that. Now, if they're trained properly, that's something slightly different, but even then, trained animals like chimpanzees and stuff, still rip people's faces off and kill them. So I'll just never trust any of that shit, because I've been kicked in the head by trained animals. I've been attacked by wild animals.

There are plenty of accounts of wild animals seeking refuge and even help for an injury but to think this thing gave a fish and led humans to their offspring is just ignorant as fuck. Like you said “projecting human behaviors” and it’s embarrassing really
