Dana asks Langdon how he’s holding up with everything that’s happening (the divorce being finalised today) and he’s like “yeah you know, the kids aren’t coping with the divorce too well but we’ll get there”

To which the camera pans to Mel who’s overheard and is like “oh……you got divorced?” Langdon awkward and trying to hold back a smile is like “uh yeah, yeah it’s getting finalised today..”

And Mel replies like, “Oh…..cool..cool….”

Last episode of S3 after Kingdon clips galore of them getting closer because now they don’t have to be cautious of setting boundaries because he’s a free man, Langdon casually asks, “uh hey would you want to grab some boba after this..? Abby has the kids tonight so I’m free but it’s totally up to you, I’m cool either way….” And Mel almost instantly replies with “I’d love that!”

Now. Any evidence to support this? Well no, but I did find something interesting while looking for Fort Pitt merch to see if they had any white t-shirts. They don’t.

However, if you look at this screenshot from the fort Pitt website there is an item that says “this resource has been locked”. I find it interesting that that would be left in the merch shop. I only find it interesting because I’ve come across something similar when I was ordering a custom ceramics piece online. The seller made me a separate sku/item listing/ whatever to add to my cart so I could pay my custom price for the piece. What if FPM made the costume department custom merch and it was a normal online transaction so they locked it so it was secret? If Frank is wearing a white undershirt too then I’ll flip a car

Rewatching this scene this morning, I noticed that throughout the entirety of Frank’s Mr. Darcy strut through the ambulance bay, the “y” is cut off on the emergency sign. This makes to word read (at least to me) as “emergence” and now I can’t stop thinking about it because is this not the most beautiful representation of their relationship?

1. the process of coming into view or becoming exposed after being concealed

- Frank is emerging into the newly vulnerable, authentic, honest, softer version of himself that Mel brings out of him. After hiding the truth and concealing his pain for so long, he is letting himself become exposed to her, showing her the way his hand shakes, admitting to her that he’s doubting himself, leaning on her with patients when he gets emotional.

2. the process of coming into being, or of becoming important or prominent

- Mel is on the precipice of finding worth in herself outside of her relationship to others, which is aided by Frank. After ten months of feeling left behind, ignored, and isolated by basically all of her other coworkers and now Becca, he is a presence that reminds her that she’s important on her own. She gets to the root of her fear with Becca’s relationship, she lets loose at the end of the day, she actually admits something she selfishly wants to Frank, for him not to leave.
