So ofc we love more love trio content. Clara being Clara. Iruma learning about demon history. and ofc Alice being uhhh, idk what he's doing. BUT LOOK AT MY BABY GIRL!!! SHE'S SO PERFECT I LOVE HER 😭😭😭😭😭. (Can you tell Clara is my favourite?)

I love how we get more of Rock's character, cuz our only knowledge of him prior to this comes from Jazz. Jazz ofc hates his brother cuz he's a real asshole, completely understandable imo. Call me stupid, but this is how I found out their family name is based off Andromalius, a demon known for stealing. I also love Shakky just a bit more after this arc, even tho I'm sad we don't see Jazz and Lied interact in this arc.

I know I talked about Amuryllis giving Miles Edgeworth vibes in the deviculum arc, but here, Iruma is giving Trucy Wright vibes. I MEAN LOOK AT THAT LIL SMILE. + Alikreds lil eye 👁️

because I'm seeing this from an omniscient perspective, I figured out that Bachiko was actually Iruma and Rock was disguised as Ameri. bit ong Iruma being scared shitless is just a treat for a lil sadist like me. (I'm no better than Kirio). Also I just wanna appreciate the mangaka and assistantsbfor always including Iruma and Lied's earrings cuz sometimes I forget they exist and it's always a nice reminder. and also Iruma's black nail polish 💅. A lil alt baddie in the making.

Now this whole part. Felt like shit out of a comedic spy movie. Like the double crossing, then the triple crossing, and then suddenly Ameri is Jazz. AND SUDDENLY EVERYONE IS AMERI. I mean you're basically a gopher for ur big bro, getting drinks and doin errands, and you don't even know who he's dating? That or Jazz just doesn't care cuz his brother is such a womaniser, dating so many women at once, and one more woman really doesn't mean much. Plus I get that Lied stays out of his sister's business (cuz she's a yucky girl eww 🤢 /sar) But as someone who ship Jazz and Lied cuz ofc I do, this feels hella weird. Cuz in a way I feel like their siblings are just the worst parts about themselves quantified, and now Shakky wants Rock to rot in sensory hell. AND THEN THEBITCH GOES ON TO SING. AND SHE FALLS FOR IT???? fuck my stupid baka life.

now THIS PANEL, THIS IS WHAT I LIVE FOR. I love that for all their similarities, Ameri and Iruma have greatly different reactions to seeing the human world. Ameri sees the landscape, is reminded of her favourite manga, yet doesn't understand what's going on, I felt a sense of wonder coming from her. But Iruma, he understands what that is. HE KNOWS IT'S THE HUMAN WORLD, AND HE'S TERRIFIED. He said he wouldn't go back, he promised himself he would never go back. and then he has a panick attack cuz he remembers what life was like there.

so uhh, what?? (⁠●⁠_⁠_⁠●⁠).Now i feel like Iruma should be considered a therian just for this. but also his desire to return to the netherworld causes him to grow horns n wings?? but what's with the hands? also I just noticed we can't see his earrings here and idk if taht means something.

I may gr in trouble for saying this, BUT I LIKE THAT IRUMA ISN'T EVEN MENTIONED IN THIS ARC. I just think it goes to show how good mairuma is at developing side characters to the point that the main character can be removed drom the equation, and it's still a good story.

I love the introduction of Urara as a character. I know we've seen him a couple times before, and that's he's a raritynin his family cuz he's just so uptight and by the rules. And I really really live when he used his bloodline ability right here. Plus with Balam in this arc gettin closer to one of the Valacs after the whole thing with Clara's evil cycle, it's just narrative genius.

Leiji was just aura farming here, let's be honest. But I think this arc is necessary to flesh out Leiji as a character and not just Azz-kun 2.0 ™. He's smart but also stupid. He's stupid with strategy, but a great sharpshooter. I love his gun and his little veil thing, which i am wondering if it's just his hair and he's balding like an old english monk. He's kinda like Ronove, in a way. I have a whole lot to say about them never showing us certain characters again but that's for another day.

First off, I love how Iruma actually asked Opera about going. Even tho Opera said no (cuz he worries for Iruma), IRUMA FOUND A WAY. YE GOT HIS BEST FRIEND TO GO WITH HIS HOT MOM TO BE HIS BODYGUARD SO THAT IRUMA STAYS SAFE.

and ofc the deviculum was a masquerade ball, so i gotta gush about the outfits.

I KNOW THIS IS JUST THEIR CLOAKS BUT I LOVE HOW AMELIE LOOKS WITH THE WITTLE EARS AND THE LACE AROUND THE EDGES AGJAJSKSKSKKSK

AND OFC MY GIRL, MY QUEEN, MY GODDESS AMURYLLIS WEARING A SUIT!!! I personally think it subverts expectations that a demon of lust is choosing to wear a suit as opposed to a dress. lowkey woulda liked Alice to be wearing a dress but ofc we don't get to see it unless he's a dem-dol. BUT AMURYLLIS IS LOWKEY GIVING MILES EDGEWORTH VIBES WHILE ALICE IS GIVING BUTLER VIBES.

and ofc Iruma gets to be with his grandfather in these trying times. But it's kinda funny how anytime we see Sullivan in the story, something always goes wrong shortly after. and idk why they have bird skulls for masks. but it is weird that Sullivan didn't just invite Iruma to escort him himself considering he was expecting Iruma to come anyway and the other Greats brought their grandsons, we coulda skipped the Opera bit altogether if Sullivan just communicated to both Opera and Iruma. Sullivan is a strong demon, even stronger that Amuryllis, so I think he could defended Iruma. Sullivan really needs to get his shit together.

HERE HOWEVER, I love how even when he's not around, Bachiko is thinking about Iruma, and how she would use her power to make the netherworld a better place for a human like him. right before Iruma is faced with the demon world equivalent of a kkk member. I think the worst part about this kkk member is that his name is NARNIA. YES, LIKE THE BOOKS. I can't take him seriously like that.

Aand ofc ya boi Narnia has to gt bitch slapped for making Iruma uncomfortable by MY GIRL, MY QUEEN, MY GODDESS, AMURYLLIS ASMODEUS. she's so lovely istg. AND THEN SHE MAKES SURE IRUMA IS OKAY??? She is so mother.

AND IN CHAPTER 306. the way the narrate it is like a report of events. Even citing eyewitnesses, and stating the dates n shi. I especially love when they mention that Behemoth had a mouth is his abdomen, and then proceeded to say shit like "this is all alleged ofc, this OBVIOUSLY didn't happen cuz demons like that don't exist 😉" . as we can see behemoth causing a ruckus at the deviculum.

AND THEN KIRIO REARS HIS UGLY HEAD. oh i live whatevers wrong with him but i also hate him.
