imagine you’re a kid and both of your parents are in the justice society and say they love you but it feels like they always prioritize their job and godchild over you. then your parents kinda sorta die maybe. then you find out you were born without a soul bc of some ancient prophecy and get possessed by this thing that has the same name as your superhero identity. then your parents’ godchild and your pseudo brother is told it’s his destiny to kill you. then you find out your fiancé is pregnant. then you die. but not really bc your conscienceless was only forced out of your body by the prophecy thing and you were taken to the dreaming. but your body does die tho that is a thing that happens. then you and your fiancé get married and she gives birth to a kid you both forget. then you find out the people who “saved” you are using you and you die again. then you get reincarnated and your newborn baby body is kidnapped from the hospital and rapidly and forcibly aged up by the helmet of nabu. then you become the next dr fate and are continuously manipulated just as much as from bad guys as from nabu. then you spend all your time trying to figure out not how your wife gave birth to you but why she’s in a magical coma. then you find out your wife didn’t give birth to you and was being held prisoner by nabu who kept lying to your face. then you have to come to terms with the fact that you have just been pawns for others for your entire life. except you never get the chance to bc then you are your wife die pitiful deaths and are never seen again. you are hector hall.
