Dante looked up and could no longer recognize his husband. The fact that he admitted to him, that him and his brother, had kill their own mother. The one who took them in when they were orphans, and when most people had feared of who they were. Their growing need to consume more dark aether to strengthen their magic, it was out of his hands and he felt defeated. Dante screams. “I can’t let you hurt anymore people! Please stop this! You are hurting and killing innocents.” 

Dante stood, blood pouring down from his head, his dark knight sword in hand, panting out of breath. He may not be as strong as they were, but he was not going to let it stop him. Rinoa runs in, looks over Dante, then looks before her at the sight of destruction that these 2 dragons had done. Her anger made her see nothing but red, as she was there when they had taken the life of her friend. Both dragons recognized Rinoa and charged after her. Dante leaped in front, taking a nasty blow, that took him down by her feet. “NO!!!!!!!!! NOT AGAIN! NOT THIS TIME! NO MORE!” Rinoa screamed as she placed a protective bubble around her and Dante, causing a jolt of electricity to shock both dragons as they tried to strike again. She placed her hand upon Dante to heal his wounds, then struck his handsome chin, like a mother would do to a child to comfort them and smiled. Dante opened his eyes once more and placed his hand upon hers. He had to protect her, and his friends. He stands up again, Rinoa pulling on his arm to try to stop him from advancing toward the 2 dragons again. 

“This ends now, even if it kills me.” Dante’s own dark aether forms around his body, lighting up his dark knight sword. Rinoa nods and stands up beside him, her own body forming the red glow. Eyes glowing red. “You allowed the darkness to grow inside you both. The need to be stronger, changed you. Not only did you hurt and kill your own mother, but you both hurt innocent people. And for that you must pay. We both here ahve learned it, but we did not let it consume us. That is not why we learned. You both are not better than any Asian or other that uses darkness, for evil.” 

Rinoa’s words got to Dante and tears formed down his right cheek. Water formed in his eyes, making them sparkle from the light around them both. He took a deep breath and slowly walked forward. “For, your mother. I will be the one who ends this. She did not deserve her fate that you both brought upon her.” With that, Dante runs toward the 2 dragons and leaps up, slicing one on the side that blood sprayed out and got all over him. Rinoa screamed but it was too late, the other dragon already charged to Dante and swat him like a fly, but allowed him to flip on his back and stick his sword to his neck, then lands on ground. Both dragons roar out in pain, and Rinoa runs in, then it all fades to black. Dante weakly opens his eyes and sees Rinoa’s face looking down upon his own. She smiles. “It’s over my friend.” Rinoa moves a single strand of hair that fell in front of his face and smiled. “I am so sorry, Dante. I know you loved him so much.” A tear ran down from her eyes and cheek and fell down to his shirt. He raised his head to look over her shoulder, and sees them both dead. Not knowing what have become or how it happened, but he sighed and started to cry. Rinoa holds him in her arms and hugs him tightly. She whispered again. “My sweet Dante. let’s go home. I will send word to your parents that you will stay with me for awhile.” Just then Dante nods, but falls back down on his back, eyes closed. Rinoa nods and stands up. She turns and nods to someone, then some men help pick up Dante and place him in back of a carriage.

Please do not be afraid of moving the story along. What I mean by that is it’s OK for you to get an idea from what I’ve written and take the plot into a new direction or to enhance the old. If you’re nervous, or afraid, that you’ll upset me, you can always send me a message to check if it’s OK to do the thing.

I play with you, because I want to, and I trust your creative instincts. If I didn’t, I wouldn’t be doing threads with you, plotting with you in asks and on Skype. If we’re playing, I want us to be equals, and I don’t want you to take a backseat to me.

I need you to share the story with me. Think about it like Pacific Rim.

RP is a partnership. If you don’t work with your partner, you can’t move the big damn robot. You can’t save the world from the giant monsters, and you cannot tell a story. If only one half of the partnership is moving, the robot will walk in circles, get tired and break down. You’ll lose the partnership, and the story will die.
