8. Don’t bring deodorant. (For girls.)

9. Don’t try to sing if you ain’t Lea Salonga.

10. Don’t try to fit in the popular cliques.

11. Stay with your friends in the canteen.

    Here’s an article about yourself. Well, about who I think everyone is. You’re alive, you’re here, and your eyes are open. Why, why would anyone look down upon themselves? Maybe it’s problems, or maybe insecurities, or maybe just really not happy. I want you to know that you are everything and anything.

You may be asking why I’m writing this, it’s because lately I feel down. I know everyone has problems of their own, and maybe you’ll say I’m really selfish to talk about myself but I know everyone will relate to this. If you’ve done something wrong, you’ll automatically say you’re a stupid, ungrateful, and unworthy person, but you’re none of those things. It’s the way that you are, I mean we are. We make mistakes and we regret it, it’s just the cycle of life, and never ever say that you are unworthy of forgiveness. Because Jesus happened, he took all our sins and all we have to do is follow him.

If you’re an atheist, or just simply not into this kind of stuff, it’s okay I’m not here to talk about that. I’m here to talk about you. 

You are amazing, you are beautiful and you are handsome, and you don’t have to hear that from your crush to believe it. Accept who you are because it’s all you can do. You have stars in your eyes and all you have to do is catch it. You have fire in your heart, just release it. In other words, don’t give a shit. But don’t love yourself too much that you’ll forget to love others, God, and your parents. Be who you are and don’t hold back, because you only live once, and don’t spend it regretting, because the one who gave you that life gave his own life in return.

“In my point of view…

I say this is the mental plague or the illness of our modern society that needs to be taken care off or yet eradicated if possible. Not in a way of extermination but in a way of changing them. Turning them into innocent, humble, peaceful (and many more virtue deeds) human beings. But it will be difficult yet it is possible. Unless, they want to change. It is not us who will change them, it is themselves who must!

“What is ‘crab mentality’? To know what this means, we have to find out the origin of this phrase. Put a bunch of crabs in an aquarium then observe how they try to get out. What do you see? If you said that they try to pull each other down, you’re correct. In social terms, ‘Crab Mentality’ refers to just that, but instead of literal crabs pulling their own kind down, we try to bash others for doing wholesome or good things.

In my POV, ‘Crab Mentality’ for me is the biggest crutch of our society. If you look at our country, smart people get bashed or what we call as smart-shaming. Whatever good things we do, people just want to look at the terrible things we did and gossip about it. It’s the scum of the earth that prevents progress and halts the good willed people from doing the things to make the world a better place for us. If ‘Crab Mentality’ attitude remains in us, we will never progress in our constantly evolving world and go on the opposite direction.”

Hey there OLOPSCIANS, Gossip Girl here, your one and only source into the scandalous lives of Marikina’s Elite.It’s quite hard to explain since I have two personalities. There’s original me and Gossip Girl. If you compare the two, their difference is flabbergastingly stupendous. If you ask me how hard it is to be two persons at once, it’s pretty damn hard. My friends became close to Gossip Girl and since it’s hard to keep up the tough girl act with them, I kinda let the original me take over. That’s how I became friends with them, with both of my personas. 

But up till’ now they still haven’t guessed who I am. Good luck finding out guys! Maybe I’ll lay out a treasure hunting map for all of you. And also “Follow the yellow brick road”. At the end of the rainbow is a pot of gold, but instead of gold, you’ll have me! Best prize? Yes? No? Hahaha! I’m just joking.
