You know maybe it’s just me being autistic and not really understanding social standards but I don’t understand how certain features of bodies can be hated. Like logically I know that it’s a product of colonialism and white supremacy and all that horrible mess, but I think this just attests to how much none of it makes sense.
Like, large legs? What’s the downside? They may be strong, or soft, or a mix, or just very solid legs, and all those can be very good things. And large/curved noses? Beautiful! Variety adds beauty to the world, and a difference in cartilage position definitely isn’t hurting anyone (in fact, it’s a remnant showing where someone’s ancestors came from. Did they come from an area where there was cold air needing to be heated up in the nose? Did they come from a desert area where dust and sand needed to be kept out? Cool! It shows your heritage!) And things like varicose veins or cellulite or acne scars? All normal things, and I think cool color and texture variations make someone all the more interesting.
My point is, none of this makes sense, and all these things are just... normal. They can be as beautiful or as normal as you want to see them
